Ross Dress for Less

I m working near to store at the bear-​creek plaza, I went there a couple of times and raise my eyebrow, at one time cashier lady yells at the customers, because she wants them to stay in line. Then My self have a horrible experience in customer service. A few weeks ago I forgot my dancing shoes, I went through Ross :(dress for less:) in Redmond and before I try them on, I buy a couple pair. From 5 pair I wear one of them in the dance studio. So whole week I was busy and I decide finally returned them tonight. The young cashier have my recite, call manager to help? Manager look at the shoes and tell me that, she will not take them back because they been worn.
I honestly tell her that I wear only one pare and I’m OK to take them back. She was convicting that I’m lying to her, she said that I wear them outside, and she can take only one pair out of five. Of course I look at her I said :”“lady I need to return all of them and I don’t wear them so don’t tell me what I didn’t do it «
she said –That she is so sorry but I cannot return them in her store, and repeating over and over, looking straight to my eyes that I wear them outside. Haa!!!
So I get super mad and I said she can throw them in the garbage or donated to someone who needed and left them in the store.
Undress for less!!! Learning a lesson again !!

I really like this store and go there often because they have great deals. I think the customer service is a little lacking though. There is one lady that works there that is pretty rude so I just stay away from her and all is good.

As with any Ross, you can usually find great prices. This particular store is generally not super busy/​jam packed with customers so you aren’t crawling over people in order to browse the racks. I feel it is adequately clean and organized. However, there seems to be «sparse pickins» every time I go. It would be awesome if they could keep more merchandise in the store.

Very limited selection and often disorganized and messy.

Why you gotta be so rude?!
The store is clean but the merchandise is usually everywhere. No doubt can you find great bargains here but what’s up with the rudeness? I witnessed straight up rude attitude from a rep. to another customer here and I was so irked. I know retail can be daunting but just be nice at least. Gosh.

Today, this store was very clean and organized and the staff were helpful and positive despite the crash in internet that happened all over Redmond today.
As someone who works in the beauty industry, I’m always on the hunt for affordable and durable black clothing. I found just that and more!
The dressing room attendant was especially nice!!! She made very polite, quick conversation about my job and was smiling and keeping busy besides just standing there or talking to others.
Considering the internet outage probably made other patrons frustrated, this didn’t appear to phase the employees as they kept very positive and reassuring the at my hold would keep till I came back.

This place and its employees are a joke! I stood in an empty purchase line for about 20 mins while they had everyone in the return line go first, even though I had been there first. I had two small children with me at the time, and you could tell these ladies did not care to make my visit quick. I’ll be going to a different Ross next time!

Seriously, do these folks get paid to do a job?
The change room lady ask me to hang up my clothes on the not interested rack, and hang up my garment number tag back with the others.
The check out line was a jock. Lady at the register just chatting away on the phone with someone else about hanging a sign in the brake room — while a customer was in front of her and a line forming.

The level of security for a low price clothing store in the middle of Redmond is completely curious. Shopping there almost feels like you are shopping at a prison commissary. There is a guard at the door, the fitting room attendants are extremely specific with their protocol, and there is a general sense of being watched closely while going through this store. I have been in stores with that level of scrutiny before, but they were in downtown, crowded areas with a lot of problems with theft. But Redmond? You really need a security guard in Redmond? Is there really a concern that people are stealing poorly made, low price items and. wearing them to Microsoft?
Aside from the strange security, the selection is really not much to crow about. Like many other Ross stores, it feels like shopping at Goodwill, although the stuff is new. It’s a decent place to get something cheap, but there isn’t a huge size variety and the quality is almost exclusively low. The dress selection is probably the best of their collections, so it’s worth checking if you’re in the market for a dress on the cheap.
And, like everyone else has said, the parking lot is annoying. Whoever invented angled parking was a moron anyway.

Pleasantly surprised. After way too many bad experiences with the expected chaos of other Ross stores, this Ross is quite a bit better than I’d expected. It is not nearly as cluttered and close quartered, the lines are reasonable, the staff is friendly and efficient and the location is convenient.
The cons would be the parking lot is always jammed and the center is ridiculous to get in and out of. As well the selection is sub-​par, even for a Ross.

I have been here a number of times. The floor here is clean and much cleaner than the downtown Seattle Ross location.
The security guy greets you at the door, which is nice. Lots of parking space in front of the store. Items are well organized in the store although they have slightly re-​arranged the store a couple of times during my recent visits here.
The checkout line is confusing. One sign in the main line/​area says return/​exchange only go to the right side and purchase goes to the left. Then another line opens up to the very right side for purchasing as well.
Cecilia was the cashier when I made my purchase here in my last two visits. She is super grumpy! The first time I made a purchase, she didn’t give me a plastic bag. So I asked can I have a bag? She looked at me and asked «YOU WANT A BAG???» I was like yes please. The second time I was there, she had to deal with a return item in front of me. She carefully inspected the returned item and yelled at the security guy «This is USED!!! WHO IS NEXT???»

I’ve shoppe here twice. I liked it.
I hate digging through clutter and this store has lots of room. It’s like the Winners we have back home, but much more organized. Prices are pretty awesome if you’re looking for a few closet fillers. Their dress selection is nice and they have quite a few selections to choose from.
The only thing I don’t like is that the change rooms are split between male and female. I’m sure other people like to do this too: try on clothes for our friends/​significant other to see so they can comment on it. They were really strict with having me hang up all the items I wanted to try on and then hang them all back up again before making my pick. if they had a high incident of theft I could understand, but if they don’t then don’t make me feel like i’m crossing the international borders every time I want to try on a shirt.
at one point I REALLY didn’t want to go through the hassle of their ‘customs check’ and wanted to just hide in a corner and try on the shirt. Heheheh
Anyways, yeah I’d go back.

At other locations, I’m often faced with a long wait at the register. This one was quick. Also, they have Betsy Johnson Purses. I was stoked by the selection here.
Also, I bought a pair of boots here on friday. After getting home, I realized that I had brought home two right boots. They let me exchange one of them for a left boot, with no hassle.

I was here on a Saturday which I consider a crazy time to visit Ross, I mean you are really asking for trouble. This location was adequately staffed so there were no long lines and the joint wasn’t completely thrashed like some Ross’s. I wouldn’t mind coming back.

Hmm. I wasn’t very impressed with this store. This was my first trip and I don’t intend on going back any time soon. It was a mess of clothes. Yes, the prices were low but the clothing wasn’t nearly as fashionable as some competitors. Personally, I found that Marshall’s had better clothes with similar prices and a better overall store setup.

Ross stores are all so similar, it’s hard to say anything about this one that you don’t already know. It definitely looks like a Ross, smells like a Ross, feels like. okay you get it. Plan to wait in the usual crazy-​long line at checkout, but realize that the bargains you’ll find here are SO WORTH IT! In the women’s sections anyway, good luck to the guys shopping here. Great store, super clean and shiny new, love it!

I’ve browsed here a couple of times and their stuff seems okay. I never bought anything though… probably because I’m one of those bored housewives who doesn’t go around «wasting her husband’s money» lol. In all seriousness, it is a little disorganized and it was pretty messy– I went 2 days after it opened and it was a disaster… but I totally agree, watch like a hawk before you cross the street, especially if you’re pushing a stroller. People do not pay any attention and I’ve seen others almost get hit and I’ve almost been hit a couple of times too

I’m usually not a fan of Ross. It’s too messy, its too claustrophobic, and busy, and smelly. I could go on and on about why I DON’T like Ross. But this review is about why I DO like this Ross, at least right now.
This Ross just opened up a few weeks ago. Or maybe months. I don’t know, there was a sign, and I drove by it all the time, but never went in. You know, because I hate Ross. On a Sunday morning though, after grabbing some coffee at the Starbucks (don’t judge me!) we decided to see what their shoe selection was like for my boyfriend.
An hour later, he didn’t get any shoes, but I did find 3 super cute tops for less than $ 40. I have a lot of clothes, but I never find more than 1 top at a time, and usually, it will take me 2 to 3 trips into a store before I find a top I like. So the fact that I was able to find like 8 tops to try on, and I actually liked them all, and had to narrow it down to the 3 that I liked the most is pretty impressive. It may just be because this store is new, and clean, and doesn’t make me want to stab myself, but I could definitely see myself shopping at this Ross again in the future. I love a good bargain, but I have zero patience. Seriously, I’m like a 3 year old.

New store. Inexpensive clothes. Adorable shoes. This is how the seduction begins!
I love Ross, and this new store is pretty darn good! It will take some adjustment to get used to the layout, since I’m used to the Bellevue and Kirkland stores, but that isn’t really a problem. The housewares and goodies section was sparse, so I was a bit disappointed.
However, they had clothing and shoes galore! I actually found a pair of dress shoes that I had bought a while back that had broken. Unfortunately, I’ve sworn off buying dress shoes until the end of the year, so poo poo.
Love this place and I will definitely be back. Hopefully with more money to spend. :o)

Let me start off by saying I am a bargain hunting freak and I love discount chains! I am so happy this Ross has recently opened in Redmond. This Ross is fairly standard in terms of selection, except the kicker here is that it is brand spankin’ NEW and CLEAN and does not smell like urine in the women’s dressing rooms! Hallelujah! Large selection of Betseyville, Harajuku Lovers, decent perfume, Booty POP as seen on TV undies, hoochie mama hooker heels and polyester clothing, bored males, and lots of sneers from single moms to be found around every corner.
The staff seems pretty nice, maybe because they are fresh faced at their jobs here and have not been jaded by the typical breed of freaks that these stores are catnip for.
My only main gripe is that the parking lot here sucks, like most parking lots in Redmond. Cluster F ²⁴⁄₇. Keep your eyes peeled at all times because some bored housewife in a Range Rover will plow right into you searching & getting to and from other places she is wasting all of her husband’s money on. My friend and I literally saw a woman with her hands nowhere near the steering wheel mowing down on a Salad once. I guess I should save that for my Unilocal review on Redmond drivers… you have been warned!
