Sassy’s Cafe North

The food was really tasty but the service was terrible. When we ordered there were no other people ordering food. The employee taking my order seemed a little distracted. He also cooked the food and was paying off gambling winnings, at the same time. The hamburger and chicken sandwich was good and the tater tots and onion rings were generous. There was nothing WOW about the food.
I ordered an ice tea to drink, which would have been fine if I received an ice tea to drink. When our food was delivered I asked our server about the ice tea because there was no tea on the counter with the other non-​alcoholic beverages. His response was, «they make the tea in the morning and they must have ran out». He then turned and walked away. My first question to myself was, «Why did you charge me for an ice tea when you had none to sell?» Second, why did he not offer an alternative beverage? Third, why did he not offer a refund? And the questions went on.
It appeared friends of the employee came into the restaurant to visit, which further distracted him. If that was possible. If you like a decent hamburger or chicken sandwich, and do not mind being ignored and not getting everything you ordered. Then this might be your place.
This is not for me. Too bad because I could see the possibilities.

The breakfast sandwiches prepared in this wonderful little espresso/​lottery café are THE BEST IN TOWN. Good place, good food, good service. Amazing owners.
