The Popes

Just check out their website and blog. Their photos are breathtaking. The Popes are also really a fun loving and happy couple to work with. What a bonus!

I don’t think I can find enough positive adjectives to describe how amazing I think Airika and Gerald are. From start to finish they were absolutely wonderful to work with. We connected with them instantly and that helped tremendously with being able to be ourselves during both our engagement session and our wedding.
Every meeting with them lasted longer than expected because we found so much to talk about. They were receptive to our ideas for pictures and added to and expanded on them to create a vision for us.
During our wedding they helped every transition seem seamless — I found out later that at one point we were running behind (the beautiful blue sky tempted us into taking extra pictures) but I as the bride had no idea and had nothing to do but enjoy the day.
Throughout the ceremony and reception I barely noticed they were there, but somehow they managed to capture every moment. I honestly think the end result was magic, and better than could have hoped for or expected. Everytime I watch the slideshow that they created for us or look through our album I am able to relive that day and I am amazed by their skill and creativity in composing and shooting the pictures. Looking through our pictures I am proud to be in them because they truly are a work of art.

I would give them 6 stars if possible. The Popes are not only great photographers, they are great people. We first met them at a friends wedding, and they did an amazing job. We were really impressed with their work, so we booked them for our wedding. They did a wonderful job with our engagement and wedding photos too.
They are extremely creative and do a great job capturing every moment in a way that is unique to the couple. They also do a great job of being obscure and not getting in the way of your wedding.
We not only got great photos, that everyone loves, but we got some good friends too. If you are still not sure, go to their website, they flat out take great photos.

I first met Gerald and Airika at my friends wedding that I was a groomsman in. I remember how «on point» they were throughout the session. It’s hard to get a gauge of how everything will look when it’s all done but their attention to detail was definitely there.
When the final product was out for everyone to see, we definitely got a chance to see the Popes hard work and efforts come to real life. I’m really big on natural looking pictures and they seemed to hit this look perfectly. Subtle pics done between each pose really added to the experience of the wedding. Capturing the moment is something only people who were there can really judge and they definitely were able to do so. Looking back at Mike and Sara’s wedding pictures brings back vivid memories of that day.
Mike and Sara are two great friends of mine that I’m lucky to know. I had high expectations of the photos knowing Mike’s attention to detail and Sara’s need for perfection. The Popes came through with flying colors. I would recommend them wholeheartedly and plan on using them for me and my wife’s 5 year anniversary celebration in 2011.
