We went there pretty often for daughter’s flute repairs – nice folks, cash-​only was a bit inconvenient, but the work was good. However, I noticed today that Allegro isn’t in that same spot anymore – the signs say an acai bowl place is «coming soon” – so Allegro either closed or moved permanently.

I’ve had my own sax and my son’s bass clarinet serviced here. The hours are a little funky, and they don’t have the best stock of supplies around, but the service is great, and the repair service on my sax has been excellent and faster than expected. I refer this place to my friends for repairs as they excel at this. I’ll be bringing my horn again there shortly for a tune-​up.

Manhattan Beach, CA
This place is a (hidden) GEM. The teaching staff is top notch, properly matched to your skill and personality, and very reliable. My boys (including my husband) are taking lessons (almost a year) and are always excited to go. The best thing is the owner makes sure your instruments are in good working condition; since we are not really familiar with proper maintenance. AND the rates are Super reasonable.
