Blooming Orchid Birth and Placenta Encapsulation Services

I hired Jennifer for placenta encapsulation for my 2 nieces. I text her at 920 am about the pick up after the birth, she was on her way at 945 am. The previous eve at 12:30 am, my niece hadn’t hired anyone yet, I text her and she promptly responded. My first niece loves the art work, said she was quick to bring the capsules to her home. Still waiting on my second niece, pick up was just this AM.

After interviewing a few Doula’s my wife and I hired Jenniffer as our Doula to assist with the birth of our first child. Jennifer is very knowledgeable about the delivery processs and easy to talk to. She listens and answered all of our questions very patiently. We felt very comfortable with her and felt she was the right person to assist us in the delivery of our son.
We came to find out during multiple ultrasounds that our baby was breeched and that a natural child birth would be out of the question and we would need to do a c-​section. Jennifer was very understanding and even though we would no longer need her Doula services she still answered all of our questions and said we could call her anytime. She even came to visit us right after the birth of our son. We plan to use her as our Doula when we have our next child. It is very evident how much Jennifer cares about her clients and we highly recommend her services…

Jenniffer was an amazing support during my unusually long labor and we are really glad we hired her. I was in labor for 4 days and we went to the hospital multiple times during this period. At our request, Jenniffer met us at the hospital several times, and later, as I had progressed further and labor became more difficult to handle, she came to our home, as well. She was an amazing help in taking shifts with my husband, so that he could take naps, because I had back labor and needed someone to provide counterpressure for every contraction. Jenniffer also had several useful tools and tricks to help, that we hadn’t learned in our 12-​week long Bradley course that my husband and I took in preparation for labor. For example, massaging my back in a criss-​cross pattern between contractions, and suggesting that I tie tennis balls in place behind my sacrum for the car ride to the hospital — I would never have thought of that but it made the ride 10x more bearable! And perhaps the best thing Jenniffer did was help talk me into going home again after our 4^th trip to the hospital, because I really wanted a natural birth and probably would have given in to an intervention to speed things up, had I stayed there that last time. All in all, my husband had thought we were well prepared after taking a labor preparation course, but we weren’t prepared for something this long after all, and I would hire Jenniffer again in a heartbeat, for the physical and emotional support!

No words can express how awesome Jennifer was before, during and after our first child’s birth. We were able to book her on a pinch (new parents thought we were prepared until I started to contract :/​) We had also decided a week before our babies birth to do hypnobirthing after a cram session with Alisha Tamburri. Jen was more than happy to assist us and make our first birthing experience as close to our birthing plan as possible. She met us at the hospital with a birthing ball and all she was there for the active labor part and although it was a short labor she was of great help. It was so comforting to know that we had someone there to help us especially when the midwife and nurses left the room and it was just Jenniffer and my husband I was never alone and that really made a difference. She met our expectations of a doula and went beyond that so happy to have had Jenniffer as our doula! :)
Also after the birth Jenniffer continued to keep in touch making sure that we were all doing good answering questions and always backing up her information by providing links to sites that would help me feel more at ease. Overall having Jenniffer as our doula was a big blessing and we are very thankful for her.
