Brian’s Hardwood Floors

Just bought a condo and I emailed this place to set up getting a quote, no response. I called the next afternoon, left my name and number saying I’d like to get a quote and again no response. This place just lost a potential customer and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

We hired another company to refinish our hardwood floors in two bedrooms and they never showed up. A friend recommended Brian’s and they did great! Brian came on time and gave us a great estimate. They said they were busy but would do their best to fit us in. Due go another client pushing back their floors a week, they were able to fit us in 3 days after we got an estimate! They arrived on time and worked hard for 2 days. Now we have BEAUTIFUL hardwood floors!!! :) we will definitely call them back to do the rest of our house!

I asked Brian (and Joann) for counsel only. They went above and beyond by answering my questions on the phone and providing lots of helpful information. Even when he knew it would not result in a job, Brian took the time to visit my home just to give me his opinion. Rare and much appreciated. Thank you!

Brian and his team were recommended to me by one of my law partners. My husband and I hired a general contractor to remodel our kitchen and master bathroom. When they pulled up the old breakfast bar during the demo, we discovered that a section of hardwood floor was missing — and needed to have it repaired. Our contractor refused to do it, so we had to scramble and find someone on short notice. Brian was incredibly responsive, and while his bid wasn’t the cheapest, we felt most confident going with him.
Couldn’t have been happier about that decision. When our contractor got surly about fixing a mistake they had made in a transition area between the kitchen (which would be tiled) and this area of the hardwood, Brian stood firm and insisted on no cheap fixes. He was honestly a lifesaver (and I’m normally not this effusive) — completely patient while we were working out the issue. When his guys came to do the job, they were very respectful of our space, and meticulously protected the rest of our house from the sawdust. The floors look fantastic.

BEWARE!!! Brian’s Hardwood installed wood flooring in our home. The floor started cupping. I contacted them and they would not stand behind their work. It was a while ago, but it upsets me every time I walk barefoot on it. Do not use them!!!

Had the hardwood floors in our entire house refinished, including stairs, and they look awesome! Great work! We are really pleased!

So I am opening a salon in the orange county area, and was stuck with pretty beat up hardwood floors. I consulted with a contractor which led me to three floor specialist. Jeremy’s name was one of the three, I have to be honest he kinda bugged me at first because he was very early to our consult and I felt bad for making him wait and I apologized and he never gave me a pass. I guess at the time I did not appreciate his eagerness. Let me tell you after 2 other consults and seeing whats out there I quickly came crawling back. Hands down price wise and time was not one my side. Jeremy went out of his way to meet my budget and time restraints. I even threw in several other projects and he and his team executed the work perfectly. Now I am not easily please and Jeremy’s lead colorist Chuck took extra time and brought samples to my work 20 mins away just to make sure i would be pleased. Boy oh boy am I. The floors look amazing the floor rail and chair rail they installed is fabulous. I soon think that my salon is now one of the most beautiful in the area. If you need anything done with your floors call this team they are the best !! THANK YOU, THANK YOU

In my opinion, this is a company to avoid if you are having hardwood flooring installed. In our case, our house looks as if protective finish was not put down uniformly or competently (if at all).
Nobody (e.g., painters and other subcontractors) walked on the floors until after the time specified for drying by Brian’s, yet a three-​month finish on the floors looks like it’s been there for 5 years. For example, there are scuff marks, blotches, and bootprints everywhere that do not come off when washed. And when someone broom-​swept various areas of the house, the broom itself left marks on the floor! To add insult to injury, when our designer attempted to talk to the boss at Brian’s and left several messages, the calls went unanswered. And so, we have paid professional prices for a do-​it-​yourself quality job.
