From the beginning I liked Cathy’s design esthetic. It suited what I was looking to accomplish. I have had so many people comment on the beautiful design of my front yard. If only they could see the back.
I would give 5 stars for her design. However, I needed to stay within a budget for my large project. Cathy was not able to give any feedback regarding costs and whether this would be doable. She does not do installation but will recommend a contractor who will do the whole project or contractors that will do particular aspects of the installation. In the end I found a contractor who could compete the project within my budget. Although I did make some changes during installation, overall it is Cathy’s vision and design that made such a beautiful outcome.

One year ago I contracted with Cathy Clous to design our yard. It is complete and there isn’t a day that goes by that we don’t get compliments. People stop their cars to tell us how amazing it looks. I wish I could post pictures but there doesn’t seem to be a way to do that, feel free to email me if you want more info. Our design qualified for a water rebate and we are able to stay within our «drought water usage» boundaries, all while the yard looks amazing. It is not one of those unattractive desert designs, it uses low water plants but you feel like you are at a resort. We used an amazing contractor to do the work (Mike Forsberg) but none of this would have come about without Cathy’s design.

We have used Cathy Clous landscape design for three of our landscape projects. They were big projects with pool and spa. She is extremely talented and knowledgable. She meets with clients and gets a sense of what the client wants. She is very creative and architecturally can deliver this amazing result for your project. She is a perfectionist and will be there through out your installation to make sure they install according to plans. She will layout every plant to make sure everything is perfect… And of course she is lovely and such a pleasure to work with.
