I have to give huge praise and 5+ stars to Del Amo Motorsports in Redondo Beach, with a specific shoutout to Jessica Xanthogiorgis and Poyan Shahmirzadi. The quality of their service, the spectacular deal that I received and the overall professionalism of the experience were all simply first-​class all the way… In fact, I flew all the way from San Francisco to Los Angeles to bring them my business!
A little background here: I have bought around 15, high-​dollar European motorcycles in my life (KTM, Ducati, Triumph & Aprilia) and I have high expectations when it comes to how Sales Professionals should conduct themselves… this is compounded by the fact that I am one as well, having worked for Mercedes-​Benz as Internet Sales Director for the past 7 years.
I have bought 5 bikes from my local KTM dealership over the past 15 years, not to mention Service, Parts and Apparel. However, they couldn’t even come close to the deal that Del Amo offered me on a leftover, 2015 KTM 1290 Super Adventure (they were also a bit snooty) and so I brought my business to Los Angeles.
From the moment that I first got her on the phone, Jess was straightforward, professional and also enjoyable to deal with. I confess to being pretty «challenging» and she never lost her cool with me. She was terrific every step of the way… I would highly recommend asking for her in Sales!
Poyan took over when I arrived at the dealership and he was simply awesome. This guy is the consummate pro who really «gets» what high-​end customer service is all about. I felt like I was at the Ritz-​Carlton! He is efficient, exceedingly polite and super knowledgeable about the product. He even took the time to design a scenic route for me back to SF which had me experience one of the best roads I’ve ever ridden. There was one loose end on the deal (missing side cases) but Poyan handled it perfectly with regular updates and clear communication until the cases showed up at my house.
It’s interesting that my local «boutique» dealer justified their dramatically higher pricing on the identical bike in part by touting their superior service… and they were pretty contemptuous of «those big-​box power-​sports stores down South.» The reality, however, was that the personal touch and professionalism that I experienced from the folks at Del Amo was head & shoulders above.

Just bought my first bike from these guys. Top quality sales staff. never felt pressured, never felt rushed. Damien, the product specialist was amazing. took the time to explain everything to a first time bike owner was super helpful, and made me feel comfortable about my purchase. I just bought my first bike here! Talk about an awesome place. I called about a low miles cbr500r they just listed on cycletrader and got connected to Chad.
Chad was super friendly from the get-​go and even texted me photos of the bike (they weren’t up on cycletrader yet). In less than 15 minutes we worked out a great deal over the phone and I jumped in my car to drive down.
Savith took care of me when I arrived and took me straight over to the bike. Wow was it gorgeous. not even a single scratch on it. I don’t think I stopped smiling after I saw it. Savith was super helpful and talked me through all the features of the bike (I just got my license the day before) and made me feel really comfortable about buying it. When I asked how I would get it 50 miles back home he said «no problem, we’ll take it up in my truck. tonight!». Seriously this guy is the man!
While he loaded it up, I met with Hilda in finance to fill out my paperwork. Like the other two, Hilda was super helpful and friendly. We talked about bikes while she prepared my paperwork and she answered any questions I had about the forms. I was in and out in no time. 1 hour later Savith was unloading the bike safely into my garage. :)
The last thing I’ll mention is the building. It’s HUGE. Think the size of Costco but full of motorcycles and gear. If I hadn’t bought all my gear ahead of time I could have easily found everything I needed here.
Del Amo, you guys are awesome and coming there was well worth the drive in 405 traffic. Going to start with you guys when it comes time to buy my next bike!

If you like to get dicked around and not have your bike for 1 month then be my guest. I was not happy with the service department at all. I was told by Gary who helped me with everything that they were waiting on warranty but after finally contacting the warranty department myself, i was told that the okay was given 2 weeks prior.
I have bought 2 bikes from this store and will no longer coming back. I will make sure never to recommend them again.

I took my jet ski for diagnostic check they charge me $ 250 and told me the computer and the start button are bad they also give me a quote for $ 2700 to change this since it was really easy to replace it I ordered the parts online the switch cost me $ 60 and the computer 600 after installing the $ 60 part my Jeske was working so basically my cost was $ 1000 to fix a $ 60 part I called them to try to get a refund it took me four messages and the fifth phone call to get a hold of the manager Mr. manner who basically couldn’t care less and told me that above him there is nobody else other than an absentee owner and gave me the feeling that he did whatever he wanted and wouldn’t care if I gave this review so buyer beware stay away from them they also tried to sell me a brand-​new Jetske and told me I can throw mine away it’s a paperweight please do not take your JetSki there.

We first sought the feedback of our local @SpyderRidersofAmerica chapters who chimed in on our initial post about which dealer we should head to, a dealer who would accept a 2015 Special edition Oscar Mike as a trade in. After a couple suggestions about BMM a 2hr ride in traffic on a Spyder we definitely left with a less then warm fuzzy feeling. After posting about our disastrous experience the Spyder community again gave out suggestions about dealers from all over the valley. On a lark I was checking the specs and build out prices on the Can am Website when I noticed under the #Dealer listing, Del Amo Motorsports Redondo Bch, as one of the dealers. I wasn’t aware they took trade ins which is why we didn’t consider them first! A mere 27 mile ride away we set up a day and high tailed it over.
Let’s start with our sales rep @IrakGarcia who met our very specific needs with a #Candoattitude, something that immediately put us at ease cause let’s face it Spyder shopping, Car shopping, and large purchase shopping is way too complicated for something that should be simple, right… And usually comes with a lot of stress!!! Ok now comes the nuts and bolts part. I won’t bore you with details (reach out to me for those) but they appraised the Jeep, did their research and made an offer that was the best case scenario for us. With a valid offer on the table our attention turned to picking out her #Spyder. My wife was very specific about what she wanted and with the depth of inventory available on the floor to choose from she soon found the most likely candidate. A 2016 F3s Limited Edition with a special dealer upgrade (sport exhaust being her favorite). We also rolled her back rest, tall boy windscreen, and a mandatory GPS unit into the deal at a price that made sense to us.
Now let’s talk about the support staff and their roles. From @Rosario in financing to @DavidNadler and his sidekick @CharlieAdamson the sales managers that #CanDoAttitude continued late into the night. Did we mention we visited this dealer late in the afternoon and ended up closing the dealership along with two or three other deals closing at that time?! My wife’s wasn’t clear on the fact that our deal was closed that night and wasn’t expecting to take her new baby home that very night, but I did! So when #David exclaimed «ready to ride home!» She bout freaked!!! Good times!!! Lol #Rosario the finance manager is every buyers dream #Finance Genius. She took our credit info, our income info and she pulled out her little black book (in this case her computer screens) and went to work finding us a realistic payment and percentage rate! But after finding one she went the extra mile the next day and found us an even better deal! See since it was late at night, past 9pm, most of the finance companies were already closed. Those that were open, their rates and payments were higher, not so good for our pockets but that’s what makes #Rosario the genius she is. The next day we get a call from her with a better rate, better terms and guess what… A better monthly payment…
So let’s talk about our #Service experience… The service Dept at Del Amo made my wife feel great about her walk through staying extra late till the ink was dry and we were ready to roll home. Over the next couple days we had the #Tallboywindscreen installed, her #Footpeg position set to her exact liking (thanks #CanAmUFitSystem) and after a little mix up with new #partnumbers (all on CanAm’s side) we got her GPS installed, a must have for my wife!
So what’s our overall experience? Del Amo Motorsports meets and EXCEEDED our expectations for a #Dealer experience. Whatever hiccups we faced during the buying process, the team meet it with a #CanDoAttitude, something that continued throughout the entire process. This was a big deal for us, this was my wife’s first Motorcycle and we have had high pressure, big stress purchase experiences in the past and to know that there was a dealer out there who’s willing to go the extra mile for you because they want to keep you as a life long customer shows in the status of their employees, most (of the team we dealt with) have been with this dealer for years. It shows in the atmosphere they create while your with their family.
In my wife’s on words…
Everything I could say, has been said above! We have been setting up videos and ways to «unveil» Spartacus… yes, that’s HER name. And it’s a SHE cause she’s a badass!!! But this dealer, their team, has gone SO beyond their call of duty that we felt the credit was due NOW, Not when we were satisfied with our video montage. I would NEVER do this, praise a business On social media? But there’s so many negative reviews on so many things, we HAVE to give praise to the few beaming apples. And yes, these guys are amazing! #FIveStarService and then some.

This place is a joke and a rip off. The sales people are the definition of salesmen at Del Amo Motorsports. They care more about a sale then the actual customer themselves. In business, you care for a customer more than a sale because that customer in return could provide word of mouth and bring more people to your location, or they come back for a second or third bike. The only thing I like about this place are their bikes :)
In my honest opinion, do not buy a bike from them, go elsewhere. Each biker I have spoken to says do not go to Del Amo Motorsports, it’s a rip off. I agree 100%. Save your wallet and a headache and look for another location.
Also, when you run your credit and you do not like the results, make sure to explicitly say to pull your info from their main database, otherwise you will have the billing folks run your credit over and over to keep trying to find the best deal. I have 6 inquiries now, when I was there the day of I had two hit my credit, which is normal. But when I said never mind, I had 4 more hit my credit the next few days.
Watch, after I post this I will have 4 more hits on my credit. Ha! Good luck and ride safe.

Buying another motorcycle was always in my mind, when my neighbor knew that he recommended I should go to Del Amo Motorsport. Btw he got 5 bikes already from them. What can I say from the best price to the awesome service and friendly people.
Here how it happened, one day I walked in and it was like walking into heaven, like walking into Toys R Us store but for adults LOL, all the bikes lined up perfectly and amazing show room. Met Jason the best most friendly Sales person ever. At first I was comparing the R1 to the 959 Panigale and they let me try both, and I even asked to take the R1 for a second ride they had no problem with that. But then I felt that I like the Pani more and decided that’s the bike for me. They gave me the price that no other dealership around LA and OC could ever beat or even match I called all of them you name it and even some of them said «that’s a really good deal for the bike I want because I wanted the White color which not many are being made, and they couldn’t match the deal and I should take it»
I took the deal and from that point Charlie the sales manager came to finish the deal, super friendly nice guy, easy going. Finished the paper work so fast was easy not complicated didn’t take much time.
They delivered the bike to my house with no charge the driver was there on time, they even offer 300 miles inspection «they inspect the bike to make sure everything is working perfectly» no other dealership do.
Bottom line is this dealership is there just to sell bikes, they don’t joke around and they do stick to their words. They have three big locations, with big inventory collection of motorcycles.
At the end this the place to go and good luck with the poker run :) lol
