I’ve been going here since it opened and have always had an amazing time. They put so much into every event they have here to make sure everyone has the best time. Their bar tenders are amazingly friendly. Love the vibe and drinks here

Killer bar in the South Bay– best spot for drinks. All the politically correct haters can find somewhere else to drink– your not wanted anyway. GASSERS keeps it real. Best deco around– best music around– best bar tenders around– Love this spot–

This spot is cool! If you’re a LA Kings fan this is a most stop to catch a game! I usually roll up with my buddy to catch the games… Try the Bitchin’ Brew! The staff is awesome!!!

Sooo clean and everyone I interacted with was lovely and polite. Good drink selection too! Loved the barbarella on the ceiling of the ladies room.

The perfect bar if you’re staying in a hotel near LAX. Great bar awesome environment. Bartenders served up some delicious drinks, for both me(hard liquor), and my lady(girly drinks). The beer tap created out of a motorcycle engine is an awesome touch as well.

I support free speech, but keep in mind that the confederate flag is a symbol of racism in the minds of many. It was actually raised in SC in response to the civil rights movement. I would think a business that wishes to attract a wide range of clientele would understand this and not cling to it just because of its sentimental/historical value. Again, do what you want, but understand that the ability to change is often seen as a strength, not a weakness. How you can support this flag when so many people are deeply hurt by it is just beyond me. I will not be going here again.

Hey there, I have had some really great times here, the drinks are VERY good, the staff is unbelievably friendly and cool, and I have nothing bad to say about anyone that works there, or their ability to provide a delicious and well priced drink and some killer entertainment. It is a great bar. I really appreciate the LA Kings spirit that you guys have. However, lately I have a hard time deciding to spend money at a place that publicly supports the use of the Confederate Flag. I had to unfollow your Instagram account for that reason. I am thoroughly bummed, and probably won’t be back unless I sense something changes on this front.

It’s awesome that there’s a rockabilly-esque bar in the South Bay. With that said, it’s really dark inside, but they have about six to eight big screen TVs and the glare from them is awful – especially in the dark. It was like sitting under a huge fly zapper light. It was so bad, it made my eyes water all night which made my winged tipped eye makeup run all over the place?! :(I give this place props for it’s creativity, but the lighting of the glaring TVs in the dark was so beyond uncomfortable – it outweighed the theme of this place. Sadly, this little Bettie won’t be back.

Updating my review after reading the handful of neg ones on here which pretty much sound like a bunch of lame ass«my clit hurts» whining rants. «It’s too dark» wtf? Really? What bar that isn’t on the strand facing the beach isn’t? «The music sucks». Are f’n kiddin me? Old school punk, local bands, Tool… AC/DC. Yeah, shitty music for sure. «A Dog came in and the bartender pet it». Relax. It’s not like your here to order sushi. Fuck! Not only that but the way ownership and staff are out in the South Bay and active in the community? Hazzard County, Johnny Cash BDay Run… to name a few. From goofy wannabes to hipsters to locals to 40 somethings like myself that was born and raised in HERMOSA most my life, this place is fukn killer. Yeah, you’re entitled to your bitchy lil opinions but come on. Gasser Lounge keep doing what you’re doing I appreciate it.

To the young lady who referred to me as «the long live Rebo’s nerd» I am not, in fact, a hipster. I do have a beard but that’s because I’m an adult and can grow a proper one. Sweetheart, I’ve been partying in the South Bay since before you bought your first Blink 182 t-shirt. I’m sure the dudes that own and run this place are totally awesome and everything but the problem is that all the authentic, real local bars with any kind of character or history are being gutted and replaced with contrived, trendy«dives» like Gasser’s. I suggest they relocate to Orange County, this is just the kind of Jockabilly bro spot that would be very popular there. Once again, long live Rebo’s! And the Poopdeck! And the Pitcher House! And…

Ok cool kinda spot but was in there tonight and a dude walked in with his dog, jumping onto the bar stools and saliva and all. and the bartender came around petting and all. She just let it go. Weird. Don’t want dog hair in my drink man really? Unsanitary. Yuk. Buzzkill.

The Gasser Lounge is bar far one of my favorite bars that I’ve been too. This place may be small but it hasn’t stopped me from going. I’ve been here times where it gets hard to walk inside but even then you get your drinks fast, not like at other bars where you wait 30 minutes before the take your order. They have several events throughout the year here at gasser, one of my favorite is May 4th or May the 4th be with you! Lol The service is great awesome bartenders and they have a good taste of music. I definitely recommend this place to anyone passing by or living I the area!

I recently moved to the area with my husband and we have been less than impressed with some of the local nightlife. Many of the places we have gone to in Hermosa Beach seemed more like frat parties than bars for adults. We wanted something a little different, but fun. This place has a pretty cool scene. It’s a little greaser/rockabilly and it definitely doesn’t have the same feel as the other bars we have visited. The seating is a bit tough and the weekends are crazy crowded, but all in all we are definitely fans.

This place is okay but not my favorite bar. It’s pretty dark and i never feel cool enough. The drinks are strong and the bartenders are always nice but for some reason, it just isn’t my vibe. The décor is dark and red with booth seating. They have a big la kings following so I’m sure it’s fun to watch a game here. They also sometimes have the grilled cheese truck parked outside… Which is a big plus! Hours are 5 – 2.

I’ve been coming to this bar since it opened. I continue to go to this bar because I’ve made some great friends here. The staff, which to me is a funny word considering I’ve become friends with them, are knowledgable mixologists. Their homemade drinks are awesome.(Bring back the Bitten’ Hudson!) The events are by far the freshest parties that are thrown in the South Bay. If you need a place to watch an LA Kings or UGA game, this is your spot. NASCAR too. There’s even The Walking Dead where the whole bar is almost quiet and intensely watching the show. It’s great when that«F* YEA!» moment happens in TWD and everyone is cheering along with you. It’s an ugly bar for ugly people with ugly drinks and ugly music. If you want pretty, go to Hermosa with your polo and affliction shirts.

This place is ridiculously badass. So this place is the official SOCAL University of Georgia Game Watch bar and thats how I know this place. Great atmosphere, great drinks and great Bartenders. Lincoln — you’re the man! Did I mention they have a Johnny Cash Shrine? Well, they do have one! So some might say that this bar is a biker bar — it is to a degree, but if you come here and you are nice to everyone, they are going to be very nice to you as well. Don’t put expectations on this place because I will say this is my favorite bar in LA. At night it does get alittle crazy, but hey — thats to be expected of this great bar. AAaaand, if you want to have an amazing College Football game watch experience? Come here during a game and IT. GETS. NUTS! In the best way possible. All I’m saying is everytime UGA scores, free shots! To wrap this up: GOOOODAAAWGS!

This place is great for grabbing a few drinks to get your night started.(Pregaming, duh!) Chill vibe. Casual wear. Affordable drinks. Even cheaper drinks on Tuesday nights! And great for watching a Kings game. Gasser is a big supporter of the LA Kings, so they do it as big as they can there. Tons of regulars. And chill staff. Took off a star for parking, because parking is always a bitch!

Relocating from Toronto to Los Angeles, and winding up in the strange new world of the South Bay, I longed to find a bar that felt like home. Divey, dimly lit, and with a staff that felt like family — basically I wanted the Los Angeles version of Toronto’s Bovine Sex Club(Californians, if you love Gasser and find yourself in Toronto, get there!)! A friend suggested I check out her favorite bar in the area — Gasser Lounge, and so when I moved into my new digs in Gardena — I made the short trip over. The moment I stepped inside, I knew I had found true love. Johnny Crash shrine, great music, cheap drinks, and a staff of friendly, efficient, heavy handed, and let’s face it, totally babely guys and gals. Check, check, CHECK! Since that fateful first visit, I have been at this bar MINIMUM once a week. I’m thrilled to call the staff friends(hell, let’s call them LA family), and have made even more friends just by showing up. Half the time I go in alone, and I’m never alone for long — this bar attracts some rad humans! They put so much time, energy and love into their special events and if you’re a Kings fan, you don’t want to be at any other bar during a game. Gasser Lounge is your new home away from home. Get there.
