March 18th2016 will forever be remembered in both my fiancé heart and I due to the marvelous experience Richard provided to us. The gondola ride was so romantic especially with the sunset in the background. Richard was really nice and professional would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you Richard for helping me make this day so special.

Business may be closed. Have tried calling on multiple occasions, never get answer. Even left message, never received a call back. Too bad, I can see the gondola sitting there right in front of me!

Last February we were in town for V-Day and so went searching for some fun to have while in the area. I found this by perusing Unilocal and thought, «Well, this could be some cheesy fun.» Reservations: I had to call a couple of times, but when I spoke on the phone with Richard it seemed all set up. Later on, I would receive a piece of mail confirming the reservation and then a phone call the week of. So, I felt better that we were set since I am so used to going through a website to reserve things. Finding it: Richard made this part a little more difficult than it had to be. Just use your maps app and you’ll find it. It really is right across from the restaurant he gives you(I forget the name). Plus, once you realize the water is just a bit away from the parking lot, it isn’t hard to find. Do give yourself extra time to drive, park, and walk. The gondola: The ride was both romantic and incredibly cheesy. The whole time people were calling out to us which, both made us feel: ridiculous, famous, and silly. The crackers, cheese, chocolates, champagne are not what you’d called particularly nice(they are all the cheap versions), so I would just bring my own if I were you booking now. It was a young guy who rowed for us; he seemed nice enough and strong. You boat your way through both of the little marinas area there and back, so it isn’t a crazy interesting ride, but nice overall. Is it worth the price? Once to be super romantic. What is the best time? Sunset. Do you really need to bundle up? Bring layers, but they have blankets. Most importantly — have fun! *My husband said that the little boombox was actually played Spanish music instead of Italian. It should have been Italian music for the ambiance!

Had a amazing sunset and highly recommend this. I found the price to be well worth it. You meet up at R/10 restaurant. Richard my gondaleir was perfect and respectful that this ride was about my girl. He was nice and quiet. he will answer any questions you start up with him but knows its about the romance. I can’t say enough good things about this and will always remember that night.

Seriously, this is one of the moments we will always remember when we think about living in Southern California. From start to finish this ride was amazing! My favorite thing about this place is that it’s more of a mom and pop feel, not some huge company that doesn’t care about your experience. Richard helped my boyfriend plan the romantic Christmas Eve boat ride and I couldn’t be happier! There was champagne and strawberries, nice Italian music playing, candles lit around the boat, and beautiful roses and Christmas décor everywhere! We had a gorgeous ride through the marina and watched the sunset. We even saw Sea Lions which in still taking about! I’m definitely coming back here for valentines. It’s so romantic, you fall in love all over again!

The boat ride itself was amazing and romantic. The captain really helped make it a great night. I took my girlfriend for our 1 year anniversary. The downside was that it was difficult to get the reservation through phone call.

Horrible customer service. I must’ve called over 10 times and no answer.

Tonight was my marriage proposal. It had to be perfect. I arranged to have this gondola ride to watch the sunset. We rode around the marina, had champaign and enjoyed a romantic afternoon. My girlfriend was the envy of all the women nearby. This is definitely something to share with the person you love.

I went here in 2011 for Valentines weekend. I have been wanting to do something like this and since my boyfriend and I were visiting LA we thought it would be a great idea. It is not the gondola ride you take in Italy, but it sure topped off our memorable moments. The boat was absolutely beautiful, and looked handcrafted just for them. We took the sunset gondola ride with the champagne package, which included chocolate treats, crackers, and grapes. They also suggested when going on your ride to take a camera with you(as your personal gondolier will take a few photos before leaving the dock), and to take a comfy blanket(it did) get a little nippy during that afternoon. By the time we took off, the gondolier also sang Italian and told us about the history. It was longer than most gondola rides, and as we rode along we got a few thumbs up from a few locals. A sure thing to do for valentines day or even for a proposal. Highly recommended for those hopeless romantics!

I brought my boyfriend here this evening for a romantic surprise. I planned this event 3 weeks ago and because of such notice, I got to pick my day as well as my time interval. It only cost me $ 95 for an hour-long ride around the Marina, and they even provided cheese and crackers! The gondola is beautifully decorated with lights, candles, furnished seats and more. The ride is smooth sailing and the rower gave us complete privacy. BONUS– We got to see tons of sea lions! It was beautiful, serene and not overpriced. I would recommend this to any couple looking to have a relaxing and romantic evening.

Great date idea. Also a great engagement idea as well. The gondola is very private, cozy, and comfortable. A great way to see the Redondo harbor. Much cheaper than the Marina Del Rey tours. Richard was very helpful in explaining and helping. I recommend this tour for any date night.

I went on this with my girlfriend for her birthday. The phone service is OK, a little bit rude but other than that very helpful. The cost of the Gondola Amore boat ride by its self is $ 85 + gratuity. We got their unsure of where to go, they said in front of Delzanos restaurant(patio) but little did we know it was in the water. The ride, the setting was really nice and relaxing, we came in a day where their was no wind and not cold. I think the thing I liked the least was the appetizers provided by them, if I would of know it was ganna be so little and poorly displayed I would of taken my tray and my fruit and cheese. Other than that it was great. :D

A nice experience, although the boat rocks in the open water, but very smooth in the marina.

Absolutely perfect!!! Gentlemen, the awesome people in this company will work hard for you to impress the lady you want to impress. Take it from one who have had the Venetian canals gondola rides, this is as good without the stank of the Venetian one. My boyfriend worked together with them to give me he best proposal a girl could ever want. He surprised me halfway through our ride, I’m not giving away how since I would hate to spoil it for future couples. But let’s just say after the proposal I like totally cry for a good 5 minutes –not the sweet girly sobs, but like hyperventilating sobs of happiness. It touched me so much how much effort he has put into this. Seriously call them and see how they can make your proposal memorable. Our gondolier, Larry, was super nice, and so was the owner? Ena. I can’t believe my boyfriend was able to surprised me with such an awesome proposal, I’m still on cloud nine.

Romantic harbor cruises. You will do a double take at the sight of this little red & black gondola, adorned with flowers, sitting there amongst all the larger boats in the harbor. It is an authentic Venetian gondola, available for charter. Included in each cruise is a basket of fresh fruit, bread, cheese and wine glasses…$ 75 for two people. You bring the wine. Bring your own music, too, or they will provide. Open 7 days a week, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. It must be as popular as it is cute, because reservations are suggested two or more weeks in advance. Gift certificates are available — what a great gift this would make for an anniversary, hey?
