I have been to a number of salons in LA and none have been able to get my hair just right. I began to give up hope, but I really needed to fix my hair color before my birthday vacation. I went to see KC on a recommendation. I came in with multiple uneven tones from my past history of hair salons and I needed to smooth them out to matching tones. She was awesome!
She spent a full hour of consultation with me just to make sure we found the right colors that would fit me. KC determined that I needed a color correction followed by a series of fashion highlights in order to smooth out all my uneven tones. I took a leap of faith and let her do whatever she thinks the best on my precious hair. And I am glad that I did! She really is the best hairdresser I have been to in south bay. The final touches after the color was a cut and style (which is always tricky with my curly thick hair). Everything came out beautiful! I was amazed and have finally found my stylist for life!
In a place like south bay where you have a hairdresser in every corner, this place is a real hidden gem! I am so thankful for the recommendation to go see her! So I am now giving out my own recommendation ;) On a side note, for the amount of work she did, I was expecting to pay a fortune, but the pricing she gave me was great as well!

KC is the best! She has been cutting my hair for over 15 years. She is very professional and maticulous in her craft. Her recommendations on hair styles has been spot on. I encourage everyone to give KC a try and you won’t be disappointed.

KC has been my hairstylist for years now and I am always happy with her work. Lets face it, your hair is one of the top 3 things people use to judge you… so make it the best hair it can be! I have referred tons of girl friends and guy friends to her and they have all been happy.
Cut, style, color, extensions, problem hair, etc she does it all! I have seen her do work on past girl friends first hand and the results are nothing short of magic.
Her prices are reasonable. She really should charge more considering the service and results she provides. Be thankful she likes it in the South Bay… otherwise she could charge a heck of a lot more in Beverly Hills.
Now sure you could probably save a couple of bucks by having a girl fresh out of hair school handle your hair. But this ain’t Supercuts or Fantastic Sams! How much is that first impression at the job interview, date, or dinner party worth to you?
KC has over 20 years of experience and is totally up on the latest trends!
It is best to book her by appointment as she is in high demand and her schedule books up quickly… she’s that good! Most of her clients are from referrals and word of mouth. And KC’s clients become long term clients. Those who experience her skills stay with her!
Parking is very easy at her location so no problems there.
If you like to go in and micro-​manage your hair, don’t bother… trust her… she knows more about hair than you ever will. Let her work her magic.
She is a great find as it is so hard to find someone who can so consistently do amazing work!

I have been going to KC for over 15 years, and have been thoroughly satisfied. It is very rare that when I call for a specific appointment time, that she is not available. She is always accommodating. Though I have very ‘low maintenence’ hair: usually just a quick mens haircut, I enjoy seeing KC for the pleasant conversation, and her wordly views on current events. Today I had my first haircut of the new year, and look forward to patronizing KC’s buisness for years to come.

My hair is extra soft for a week after KC washes it.
