Cool place to stop by and have some drinks late night. Will definitely come back whenever I am in the area. The drinks are decently priced. Had a great time!

Jerseys is a great local dive/sports bar! I don’t say dive to be negative, not at all, its the tone and vibe that Jerseys gives off & one that I like! I’ve been here any number of times & yesterday was a perfect example when I met up with two old friends for drinks! Again a great local bar with a nice selection of imported and domestic beer, good food! Wings as you’ve read are killer! Pool table and an outside area for a bit of air or a smoke! If your looking for a no nonsense, isn’t full of itself local bar, Jerseys is one of my two favorite neighborhood bars!

We decided to do a last minute impromptu birthday party for myself there on Friday night. It was pretty much what I wanted which was open, not too crowded with a friendly group on the inside. My biggest(and really only) issue was that the music on was so incredibly loud that when a new song came on, we little cringed. I think at some point they got the hint that we were all in pain and turned it just a tad down. They had a juke box mp3 player which was very popular and had a ton of songs. I though .50 per song was a bit steep but with enough drinks in you, everyone was throwing their money in there. It also had 1 pool table which is always fun. It’s an intimate space that was clean so we were happy!

Jersey’s is a really fun local bar with good food that I would describe as a charming mix of a dive bar, a sports bar. but with pool table, good music, all the sports packages on Tv’s, and also a great patio where you can eat, drink, watch sports, and God forbid have a smoke if the mood strikes you. The staff is friendly, the drinks are stiff and priced well, there are plenty of beers on tap, and the food is well above what you would expect. In the interest of full disclosure I worked here for a little while as a fill in cook, and full time drinker… so I have been on both sides of the counter more nights than I should have. So I can speak to the food… it is very good for bar food. the fries are fresh cut to order, the meatloaf sliders are home made, the burgers are huge, fresh and awesome, the wings rock and come in tons of flavors. and if you are not counting calories and just want the ultimate alcohol soaking up indulgence go for the GCB. Some of the stuff like the poppers and cheese sticks are just your typical frozen fare… but if you drink enough and add the house made ranch they become works of art. I was not even going to review this place… but I read some reviews below that said this bar is racist or «locals only» … and I can tell you from personal experience that is just nonsense. During football season this bar is home to a group of Cleveland Browns fans… a diverse mix of black people, white people, etc, of all ages and from all over the area… many even brought their kids in for the early games after soccer… every single person was treated as a valued customer and with respect. There are also a lot of Raider fans making their presence known(go Raiders) who could be Mexican guys on custom Harley Davidsons or white chicks from down the block… but the vibe is always peaceful and inclusive. The owners are East Coast people… Giants fans for God’s sake… and they like something called Hockey… I am a CA native so I don’t know what hockey is. but those games are also on the many TV’s and seem to attract folks from all over. I can say that if you are local, visiting, hungry or thirsty. come on in. you will be welcome and have a great time. They also have air hockey, darts, pool, juke box, and a huge patio… all I ask is that you don’t play Sweet Caroline. which is sort of a twisted tradition… OK… go for it…

Hit up this place last night. Cool little spot with friendly people and great service. They had the Dodger game which is why we were there. The food was great I must say. The wife and I shared some very good hot wings and an awesome«jersey burger» with everything but the kitchen sink in it! Prices were reasonable. The only downside was one of the beers on tap needed to be replaced, might have been sitting there too long. Other than that our experience was good and enjoyable!

Makayla!!! You’re totally awesome! On Wednesdays they gave wingsday and they serve 2 $ and 2 $ chicken. Best chicken I’ve everrrrrrrrr had! Makayla is usually here every Wednesday, so I know the service here will exceed my expectations. She’s always sooooo friendly and takes customer service to another level. I’ll be back here next Wednesday for sure:)

Wing Wednesdays: $ 2 wings, $ 2 beers(and not just Coors but some decent IPAs). And air hockey. What more could you ask for?

Man this place has changed. Used to be a regular here a few years ago before I actually moved to NJ. Place typically had a very steady stream of customers during the week but it was like a ghosttown when I came in. Service was great as always but the place just seems like it needs a bit of a face lift. I will say I miss their wings and fries.

I came to Jersey’s for St. Patricks Day. It was cute, they had $ 10 pitchers of green PBR, Coors Light, or Bud Light. Makala, Makayla? She had her name on a board behind the bar… but Unilocal made me waiver on the spelling. ANYWAY! She is a nice bartender, and I felt bad for her having to deal with some of the people hanging out in there. It looked like she was alone, as the kitchen was closed. The bar itself wasn’t bad. They were playing Streetlight Manifesto. There was no one there under 25, I’d say… and lots of people were drunkenly singing — nay, screaming along with the music playing. I got lucky since it was late Monday night and parked right out front, but I would imagine its really hard to park here on weekends. Jersey’s is a good place to go when you hate the crowds of Hermosa, and Gasser Lounge is too crowded.

Pros: Cheap beer! They have specials all week, even on weekends. Proximity to me(Hermosa Beach) Spacious Activities: Air hockey, darts, etc. The bartender was sweet Cons: Really sticky and dirty.(It is a dive, so to be expected in some ways) A majority of the TV’s were small and outdated I found the wings gross Beer seemed flat Small shards of glass missing from the top of my pint(ouch) Overall I went there on a Wednesday night for the first time. I am looking for a little dive to ‘call home’ for when I just want to grab a beer and something to eat. I ordered a beer and some wings. The wings were dry, not much flavor, and I still have cuts on the roof of my mouth from trying to chow down. I wasn’t impressed by their level of bar food at all. However, I will go back. P

Location is important and as is parking. Parking sucks balls here. You probably have to walk a block or 2 if you are stopping by during the weekend. A good hint to park by Rite Aide, it’s open 24hour so you should be okay there for at least a couple of hours. Inside is your typical looking dive bar. Pool table to the right and bar at the far end and theres a patio in the back but I didn’t check it out. Decent size with booths and a pin ball machine. Drinks were cheap. There was a juke box there too but it was occupied.

Went here on a Saturday afternoon with a large group and we were pleasantly surprised when we stumbled in here during a bar crawl. The drinks are super cheap, there are games to play(the guys loved air hockey), and to our delight there was a sunny patio out back! We had no idea it was back there but it turned out to be the perfect place to sit outside and drink. We had the whole place to ourselves and it felt like we were in a friend’s backyard… super comfy. It also looked like it had xmas lights for patio drinking at night. There is also a kitchen to get some snacks if you have the munchies. Would definitely recommend this as a dive bar to check out.

Wednesday nights are the best here! Cheap beer cheap wings The beer is $ 2 for most drafts and the basket of wings is $ 2 I believe. Not always packed which is why I like it! Makayla is an awesome bartender who’s there on Wednesdays. Food is good, mark(the chef) is super cool and can sure cook. Not a whole lot of parking which sucks, but I enjoy myself here every Wednesday night!

O.K. So I wanted to check this place out and find out all about it. I have to say this place is spacious compared to many other places. Also the fact they serve Bass Beer on tap is great. But I will never go back to this place in my life .My friend walks in ahead of me while I park the car, He orders and gets the happy hour price. I walk in and order the same and the bartender asks for my I.D. and then says Happy Hour rates«only apply to locals, are you a local of the beach cities?» I answered honestly and was told I had to pay full price. But did my friend get hassled? NO! And it makes me wonder whether it has something to do with the complexion of our skin, Me dark and him light skinned. I am not calling this place RACIST! but they sure know how to keep certain unwanted people out. I had one beer and left, NEVERAGAIN.

If you live locally, this is a chill bar to come and have some drinks with friends at. You can buy beer by the pitcher and they have amenities such as a pool table, jukebox, and air hockey. Also darts. It’s definitely a place where some locals like to hang. It is walking distance to O’Hearns next door and Gasser Lounge across the street. Pitchers are $ 10, Shots are $ 5. Not too bad…

I’ve been here a few times because my friend Michele bartends here a few nights a week and one of my best friends lives 3 blocks away. Last night was Wednesday Wing Night which draws a bit of a crowd. 4 of us rolled in alittle before 9pm. There must have been 40 or more people inside. It was way busier than I’d have expected. We played some Air Hockey, had a few dinks, and BS’d. They have darts, air hockey, pool table, TV’s, and juke box. Lots of things to keep you busy. I’ve had the wings a few times before and they’re ok. If you’re looking for something a little different though come on in on a Wed night, have some wings, a few drinks, and say«Hi» to Michele. You can’t miss her. She’s the 6’2″ blonde volleyball chick behind the bar. On the dive bar scale this place get’s 4 stars. They have PBR, Stella, Sierra, Fat Tire, and some other beers on tap. They also have a full bar. If HBYC has a 3 star rating and Hermosa Saloon has a 4 star rating on Unilocal this place should be 5 stars.
