I cannot believe how amazing I feel after Ki-Hara sessions with Jamie! As a former college athlete who is still very active, I’m used to feeling lots of aches and pains as a part of my daily life. I’ve tried switching up my workouts, physical therapy, ice, rest… nothing has been better than Ki-Hara. It’s thrilling to finally find a way to feel better while remaining active. The combination of mashing and resistance stretching is like mixing a massage and a workout. I used to love getting massages, but now I can’t imagine a massage without the resistance stretching that Jamie does. In our first session, she was able to find injuries that had been bothering me for years and she showed me how to train my own muscles so that I would be in less pain. She’s incredible! I am SOGLAD to have found Ki-Hara and Jamie! A few months back I had heard some very good things about Ki-Hara and so I figured I would give it a try. After my sessions I have really felt noticeable positive changes to my posture, pain levels, flexibility and overall well-being. The process of Ki-Hara has two stages. First is the mashing, which entails a pleasant massage of various muscle groups to warm them up for stretching(obviously the most fun part). After that is the resistance stretching which, though sometimes challenging, feels like a very thorough workout of muscles you never realized you had. Jamie used the analogy of taking muscles that are«offline» and putting them back«online», describing well what it feels like going through the process and feeling a lot more strength build in just a few short repetitions. In addition to being a very friendly person, Jamie clearly has an in-depth knowledge of muscles and proper stretching technique. She seems to know precisely how much to guide you in order to maximize benefit and avoid any pain or overstretching. I highly recommend Jamie and her fantastic modality.
