Let me start off by saying that Laura is as good as it gets! She is knowledgeable, thorough/​detail-​oriented and assertive. She will go the extra mile for you — just make sure to take her advice!
Her office is right above the Coffee Bean in the Riviera Village in Redondo Beach. When you first walk in, you can see how organized and presentable everything is. She also has pictures of her and her son, which provided me with reassurance that she truly values parent/​child relationships. Also, I noticed a certificate from USC Law School stating that she graduated Top 10 in her class… VERY impressive!
The office consists of her and her paralegal, Debbie (you will get to know both of them pretty well). I love this, because the two of them are always on top of things. You don’t have to worry about the typical law-​office annoyance of talking to someone who is unfamiliar with your case, because everything must go through both of them.
After my first meeting with Laura, I learned that she knows what it’s like to go through family law matters firsthand. She definitely understands the (at times) stressful and emotional nature of the process. This just gave me another reason to choose Laura, because many attorneys don’t truly understand the process from the position of a client.
I can’t TRUST just anybody with my family matters. I wanted to be sure that my attorney 1) valued family 2) had been through the process 3) was experienced. So rest assured that you are in great hands and that your future lawyer REALLY knows her stuff. She would be my first and only recommendation to anybody seeking a family law attorney.
