Best late night pizza for the price! I tried the mac and cheese pie the other night and I can’t complain. The mozzarella they use is fresh, the marinara is spicy and the crust is cooked perfectly!!! Nice and thin.

Amazing! Do all orders of wings come with fries? I felt like I hit the jackpot when my lunch was delivered today! Will definitely order again! Next time I’ll try the pizza!

This place would get 4 – 5 if it just focused on the chicken. However, their pizza is terrible therefore they get 2 stars. I would rather order dominos or Papa John’s pizza than getting it from here. They need to refocus and either fix their Italian side, or simply focus on the chicken.

The food here is great and the workers are very kind. Also have a cool selection of beer. Only thing i dont like is the deliverys can take a little long. Besides that this place is solid. 4.5÷5

5 stars for the pizza. It’s consistent and always tastes great. However, no stars for their pasta. I remember trying their pasta a couple years ago and it tasted good, but for some reason I never wanted it again. Last night along with the pizza I got myself some pasta, and my stomach pains throughout the night and my constant trips to the bathroom this morning reminded me why. If you care about your digestion or your toilet forget about the pasta, but you can’t go wrong with the delicious sauce they use on their pizza.

ordered delivery on a wednesday night. medium cheese pizza is $ 9.69 + $ 1.25/topping. you can select light/heavy on the sauce, and thin/think crust. delivery was prompt — 30 minutes after placing the order by phone. the person taking our order was friendly. we got the medium with jalepenos, ham and mushrooms on thin crust with light sauce(total $ 12.54 + tip). it was ok overall, we’ve definitely had better pizza. crust was a little burnt on the bottom. arrived warm. normal amount of toppings. it just wasn’t very tasty. would be willing to try again though b/c the prices are very reasonable and delivery was fast.

This place is chill and satisfying. I love pizza and this place was a great choice to satisfy my craving that night. They are open late! The pizza is solid, good sauce, the crust was not too soft nor crunchy, friendly staff, is next to a bar, firm prices. I’ll be a regular for sure. Must go if you’re in the area.

I love the pizza here! The x-large pizza is the way to go you’ll get more bank for your buck. I normally order delivery or take out. The décor is a little out dated so I prefer to take my food with me. The potatoes are also amazing! The owner is super friendly and so are the staff.

Whoa, it’s awesome pizza. You’re sitting there, at your computer in the Hermosa Beach area wondering, «holy cow… do I eat here or some other „generic“ pizza joint.» Don’t make a mistake, order from here. The food is awesome, from the pizza to the appetizers to the sandwiches, it’s all awesome. Do yourself a favor and eat some delicious food, you won’t regret it! I know this review looks like it’s planted. It’s not. Its my first and only Unilocal review, i made an account specifically to give Papa Guido’s praise because it’s so good. Thank me later, order the food now.

My go to delivery pizza! Delicious pizza, wings and papa potatoes are a game changer! Their house made ranch is next level as well, cause I’m a ranch guy and I need my ranch with my pizza

Food is super good except for the times when they make the chicken too dry and the pizzas too greasy. Other than that, super tasty mom & pop place!

This rating is just for their Papa Potato!(I love their pizza). I saw a Unilocal photo of these potatoes and had to have them! I even ordered a full order knowing I’ll love them – but I was so wrong. These potatoes look better in photo than they taste. Soggy and not so much in flavor.

the girl named AMERICA who works here is an a-hole. first, i was sitting in the place for 25 minutes for 3 pieces of chicken and papa potatoes, when i noticed 3 customers who got their food before me(who came after me), i asked them why it took so damn long. America doesn’t apologize for the wait and cops MAD attitude. these workers are horrible plus, they need to get a restaurant makeover. it’s 1998 in there oh and how did the food taste? AVERAGE

Tried this place for the first time and was wowed! So incredibly delicious. The fried chicken, the pizza and the potato wedges were all amazing… Not the healthiest but absolutely no regrets!

Had a friend come over to visit our little one & decided on ordering some pizza. Unilocal radar brought up this little joint, so we had to try it. Ordered the Large Pizza & Chicken & Papas combination, costs around $ 17.99. Great meal choice for 3 people. Chicken: Dam tasty, brings out my horrible temptation to lick my fingers. Don’t do it… Held true to the ediquette code, you know, meeting our company for the first time. Nicely cooked, moist chicken. Skin had great seasoning, waaay better than the Colonel’s. Papas: Potato discs, nicely salted & peppered with skin on. Pizza: 1 topping, came with the meal deal, we ordered meatballs. Meatballs were really dense and garlicky tasty. Thought the pizza overall was a little on the oily side. To agree with a previous review, pizza crust had a lot of bubbles. Wasn’t turned off by the place however. Can’t beat the location. Want to try & order another pizza, also 5 buckets of chicken.

Okay, I’ve first heard about Papa Guido’s from a friend that lives a couple of blocks from there. He constantly talked about how great their potato bites were, but I ignored it. Flash forward to two weeks ago; we were hungry and craving some really good pizza, and my friend once again suggested Papa Guido’s. Should I do it? Is it finally time to try their pizza? Is the ocean really blue because of the reflection from the sky? It was finally time to try it. We went up to the store, ordered myself a pizza calzone with pepperoni and green peppers, and heading on back. The very first bite that I took felt like I was in heaven. HOWDID I NEVERTRYTHISPLACESOONER??? I mean, the Parmesan cheese was just impeccable! Everything about that calzone was on point. So yes, it gets a 5⁄5. Oh, and did I forget to mention? They have a Twitter page @PapaGuidos and calls themselves the Notorious P.G.P. of the South Bay. If that isn’t style, I don’t know what is.

Great pizza. No doubt. In fact it’s better than anything nearby. The only issue is the place itself. The inside is pretty nasty. Dark, old, zero light. Everyone crowds to the one side of the dinning room in hopes of getting what little fresh air can come through the street facing window. If you’re lucky, you’ll see large industrial fans on the floor during the summer. Insulation seems to be outside their margins of profit. How they still have carpet blows the mind. So, if you’re like me, and I’ve had to learn this lesson the hard way, go for a pick-up or delivery. At last then you won’t risk losing your appetite.

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars… not for their pizza… but for their Caesar Salad and Papa’s Potatoes! While the quality of the salad and potatoes have remained top-notch, their pizza is the reason I knocked off a star. Food: — Pizza — They give very little, unevenly distributed toppings! When I ordered mushrooms on my pizza, only every other slice was sprinkled with unbelievably tiny mushroom shavings. So disappointing! Also, the pizza is pretty greasy. — Caesar Salad — One of my favorites! Lots of romaine, croutons are really good, and they give lots of parmesan cheese! The Caesar dressing is really tasty! It’s creamy and coats the lettuce well! 5 stars for this salad! — Fried Chicken and Papa’s Potatoes — Fried chicken skin is crispy, and the chicken meat itself is super juicy! They are really generous with the mojo potatoes! Comes with Ranch for dipping. These potatoes are addicting! You really can’t eat just one! One thing nice about this place is that it’s open late! You can satisfy your pizza, chicken, and potato cravings until midnight daily.
