Redondo Torrance Mini Storage – Redondo Beach

I needed a storage facility for a few months during some remodel and these folks have been very friendly and very helpful. I would use them again and highly recommend them.

Best storage in town with great customer service. This is the second time using mini storage and we have been very satisfied.

Had a great experience with Aitofi and the front desk. Very friendly and provided excellent customer service. She made it very easy to make a reservation and was very efficient with the sign up process. I will continue to be a loyal customer here.

Absolutely phenomenal customer service. I had to move into their storage from across the country, sight unseen. Ricardo and Jordan made the choice and the move flawless and simple. Great pricing and location. Important to note that on some units, you can only take a truck 20″ or less up the ramp but many units can accommodate all sizes. I would highly recommend this storage facility for both customer service and premises!

We stored our camper here for 3 months and our battery was STOLEN!!! Do NOT use this facility!!! No security — no responsibility — not their problem!!!

Renting a storage unit with Ricardo at RTMS was a breeze and we would recommend him and the biz to others. Ricardo was patient, detailed, and he thought my lame jokes were funny.
Overall, great customer service and clean facilities. With regards to reviews mentioning bad business tactics and the like, those never steer me away because if you’re on top of your s*** then no one should be able to screw you over. That’s why there’s a thing called contracts.

WARNING!!! PREDATORY BUSINESS PRACTICES!!!
It might be in a convenient location, their prices might be about average, they might even have an attractive move-​in special, but I emphatically suggest you look elsewhere.
I rented a storage unit for a year while I lived abroad. I moved my things out when I got home and vacated the unit on 1 October. Long story short, they charged me for the entire month of October and are unwilling to rescind the charges or even prorate them. That means they have my money for the month, as well as the money from anyone else who rented the unit after me. This is obviously a predatory business practice. Their refusal to consider returning my automatic payment only verifies that they are willing to abuse automatic payment to the detriment of their customers.
Let’s review: THEY CHARGED ME FOR A WHOLE MONTH WHEN I MOVED OUT ON THE FIRST OF THE MONTH.
The workers on site claim they can do nothing to help and that you have to resort to contacting the corporate office for help and it’s lot easier to say no over email. This is one of twelve storage locations managed by the Self Storage Management Company. I’d advise not using any of the companies that contract with the Self Storage Management Company as their management style is clearly exploitative of the customer’s trust. A list of storage sites to avoid are listed on their website.
A few other nits:
— The operational hours are somewhat restrictive and inconvenient if you work normal hours.
— Use of their moving truck is «free» — but only to move in.
— The billing is sometimes erratic. I would occasionally not receive no receipts or sometimes receive two receipts for a single month. To be fair, this is only an issue if you require receipts for reimbursement.

I have been here for a little over 2 years and they have defiantly made things a lot better here. I am happy to report that the staff is very helpful, super nice and informative. They really do care about the customer and their belongings. I appreciate how serious they take your concerns. Thank you so much

Absolutely horrible experience! DO NOT STORE ANYTHING WITH THESE PEOPLE!
What might seem like decent rates offered up front will undoubtedly turn into extra charges and bad experiences when you make any effort to terminate a contract with these spiteful and generally unpleasant people. This is to say nothing of the utterly incompetent staff that runs this place.
Wish I had read any of these reviews before storing anything at this site. Leaky units?!? Damaged property?!? Seriously? You are a storage facility. You have one job: not destroy people’s stuff.
I had the manger close my vacant unit and then use it as a garbage storage, for which he then assessed me added cleaning fees and late termination fees that were a price gouge that completely negated any minor discount offered up front when I opened my account.
After being assessed multiple additional unjustified fees at my move out date, after specifically being told no additional fees would be assessed, I wish I had paid more for storage in a better/​more modern facility. The site’s pathetic manager has a Napoleon complex and his efforts to exert control over his corrugated aluminum kingdom are laughable.
Look elsewhere before leaving anything but toxic waste at this dump of a facility.

Ed and Bonita are very professional and attentive to our storage needs. They always convey a «can do» attitude with every request we’ve asked. The keep the storage facility and units very clean and provide superb service. They sold us on storing our goods at their facility. Thanks guys.

Great customer service!

This is our first time using a storage company and so far it has been very pleasant. The Manager has worked with us when we needed help, as a non-​profit company we need all the help we can get. It’s a very very clean place, so far we have had 3 units within 1 year and each one has been very clean.
The location is perfect, right off of the 405 but it’s hard to get in and out of, that’s the only down fall but the Pros beat this small annoyance. If you are looking for storage, rent with this company. Hopefully you won’t have a bad experience like some people have. So far the staff have been very polite and helpful, even after being there for over one year.

The location is convenient right off the Inglewood Ave. exit off of I-​405 South. It is a surprise that this is considered Redondo Beach.
The unit was clean and big and there was a very competitive rent for my 3 months. However, the manager was all smiles upon move in but all frowns upon move out insisting I pay for one more month because my 5 days notice was not according to their «contract»
The very first night of renting the unit, I was unable to access the gate because they changed their code!
I am tremendously disappointed to be stuck paying for another month as I was clear from the beginning that this would only be for 3 months.
