Savory N Sweets is a neighborhood gem in North Redondo! Catherine is an amazing baker and always has a fantastic selection of goodies at her shop. Recently, we had her cater a baby shower and my guests were super impressed. Her prices are reasonable, the food was delicious, and she was so easy to work with. Highly recommend Savory N Sweets!

The sweet cakes, pastries, scones, cookies are amazing. French Toast Brioche will make you cry it is so good! Freshly baked with fantastic ingredients the chef here is a wizard. If you must get a coffee at the nearby Coffee Superstore stop in here for a wholesome tasty treat it is far far far superior in quality and taste.

Great strong coffee and super super super good baked donuts. Give this place a look they do catering or something too.

Echoing Ollie’s post: This place is amazing! We just picked up the decadent pecan brownie and buttermilk bacon slider. The brownie was very moist, and, to quote my husband, «Effing heaven!» I’m a savory gal and the buttermilk biscuit was excellent. Fresh tomato and Bibb lettuce, crispy bacon and the most flavorful herb aioli! Perfect size for a morning nosh! My only regret is that I didn’t take pictures before we completely devoured it! Our second time here. Please please support this local, great business!

Catherine, the owner, is one of those rare souls that instantly makes you feel welcomed and appreciated as a customer. Her shop is in the same manner as her attitude. Warm, inviting, cool, repurposed, industrial. That being said about the vibe of the place… Let’s get to the food. Delicious, organic, local, fresh and did I say delicious. Her quiches are light creamy and perfect with so much flavor. Get there early they go quick. Then there is the fresh biscuit bacon tomato sliders with an aioli sauce. I could pop these little babies like chips. They are that good. Catherine has fresh baked sweet goods as well that I plan on making my way to try them all. This is truly a local neighborhood gem that the community is lucky to have. And with Starbucks essentially being next door it’s an easy decision… Fuck Starbucks. This place blows it out of the water and directly supports our community. #newfavoritebakery

We did a tasting with Catherine this past spring. Her food was tasty; we felt that her prices were very competitive and her menu sounded interesting. There was a dish we hoped to modify slightly (from greenbeans with bread crumbs to greenbeans with almond slivers), but she did not seem very flexible. We decided to go with her anyway, but found out she had already booked the date. We were pretty disappointed, given that she did not let us know anyone else was even interested in the date and that we had flown from NM to do a tasting! I think she would be a great caterer if she worked on diplomacy/​professionalism and flexibility.

I decided to use savory sweets based on reviews on Unilocal.I’m so happy that I did Christine the owner was so easy to work with everything went exactly as planned food and service was excellent! We did our employee party at our home Christine gave us a choice of steak and salmon mashed potato green beans we also had appetizers and salad tables were set beautifully. We will be using savory sweets for all future events. Did I mention that her prices are so reasonable.

I highly recommend this caterer. I have used Savory N Sweets for many occasions. The cupcakes are the best I have ever had. I have served them for graduation parties, birthdays and bridal showers. I have also ordered chocolate covered strawberries and brownies and had them delivered to school for my sons 18^th birthday! It was a very special treat and the strawberries were so delicious. The owner is very personable and her specialty is her flair for making you feel special and as though you are her only customer! I use this caterer whenever I need something special!

We have really fell in love with the presentation and the quality of the food prepared at Savory n Sweets. They catered my baby shower and the food was amazing, We requested a vintage, shabby chic theme and they delivered! From the details with the old fashioned straws and drinks to the linens and flowers! The food was so amazing! There were so many choices for the menu, The guests especially loved the layered Strawberry Cake (the icing!!! wow!!!).
We have also ordered Cupcake tower, which they deliver and set up! Can I just say Strawberry Lemonade cupcakes are my new favourite!
Delivery and set up were so professional. I will definately be using this catering company again for the next occasion, for everything they do the price is so reasonable.

Amazing! I ordered peach cobbler for 30 for an office birthday party — — it was the best ever. The cobbler arrived hot with chilled homemade whip cream! Everything came with a vintage vibe, including flowers in a mason jar! Savory n Sweets has become our go to for all birthday and special office celebrations. Also HIGHLY recommend the Triple Layer Chocolate and the Strawberry Shortcake!
