Good god. These guys have no clue what they are doing. Sorry, but the macchiato was a joke and you weren’t even busy. Never to return.

Francesco is one of the best employees I have ever met in a coffee shop. He made sure to ask questions regarding my breakfast sandwich and made it BEYOND tasty. My expectations weren’t very high to start but he was very friendly and kind in communicating with me regarding both my meal and my drink. I very much enjoyed the energy of this coffee shop and will be sure to visit again whenever I am in Redondo Beach!!! Thank you Francesco for your great personality and amazing customer service!!!

The food here is ok and their coffee is pretty good. This is if you can get passed the poor service. Francisco is a sleazy Spaniard who flirts with and hits on my girlfriend every time we go there and has a sheepish attitude when I walk in with her. The other employees I’ve encountered are usually underwhelming and sometimes even rude. Overall I’d say poor and unprofessional service with average food and decent coffee. Not worth my money. The only convenience is that I live across the street.

My favorite new coffee place. Their strawberries & cream latte and the white chocolate raspberry latte are amazing! I also love their egg bagel sandwich with the veggies and hummus. It’s a little pricey but so good. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that there are always smokers hanging around the entrance and the smoke comes inside– which takes my appetite away and makes me want to just take my food home. But otherwise the owners are so sweet and I love their creations.

I love this place. Its my new spot for coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and lunch. The owners are really nice and are always around; so it has a great vibe every time I come in, unlike my previous place that I am no longer a customer at(Neighborhood Grinds). Highly recommend the vanilla latte, also the breakfast burrito is pretty bomb.

This is a small little coffee shop located in the same little strip mall as Von’s. I got a chai latte like I usually do at Starbucks. It was really good. I like how the chai tea wasn’t overpowering. The people that work there are friendly and the service is nice and quick. I see they also have breakfast bagels that I need to try next time I come here.

Best coffee in the Southbay. Not as trendy as Catalina coffee or Two Guns in MB. Not as expensive either. Just great coffee. Place is a gem.

Great competition for the big chains. Right near Vons and a bunch of other necessities. I like supporting the underdogs, that’s a big reason I get my tea and coffee there. At least give it a run.

This is a small mom and pop shop. Literally. It’s small and it’s owned by a couple, who has a daughter, so they are a mom and pop. Anyway, dad is not so personal. Not the people kind of person. He’s all about business. Mom is great with the customer’s. They coffees are good, but when they run out, that’s it for the day. They don’t brew another pot. I found out because I needed a refund when they didn’t have what I wanted. They make a yummy breakfast bagel sandwich with egg, bacon, cucumber, tomato, and cheese. They use a humus spread on request. You should definitely try the sandwich with the humus spread. I would order this only on days when mom is working. She wears gloves. Pop gets distracted. Plus he doesn’t wear gloves and doesn’t seem to feel the need to wash his hands between touching the cash or cash register, then the food. They have Wi-Fi, which is great. I like to grab a cup of coffee and hang out on my iPad while the kids are next door at the My Gym.

Kon blend coffee is the standard here, at what I think is a family owned coffee house… Staff is cool, and the coffee is great! easy in and out, and they have food, but I have yet to try it. But it makes starbuks feel like you are drinking liquid turd

This seems like a nice relaxing place to grab a cup of coffee. The BF and I dropped by for a quick latte and apple juice. The latte was good and the apple juice was bottled. We definitely got a kick out of listening to the high school kiddies working on their business project next to us… ah, the good ‘olé days…

The Chai Lattes are to DIEFOR! No joke. This place has great service, and the lady who makes our drinks always makes it with just the right ratio. Perfect way to start any early morning :) The boy and I are so addicted to their Chai lattes we haven’t gotten a chance to try something else on their menu but will be getting to it soon for sure.

Love this place! It is my weekly weekend staple as I am getting my laundry done a few doors down. I love the atmosphere because I feel like a regular as the barista already knows what I’m gonna order and share some small talk. I also love that the other patrons are friendly as well. I’ll take another chai latte!

I really liked this place. Went in because I couldn’t find any other coffee shop, and needless to say I didn’t expect anything great. I had the mint chip mocha blended, it was really tasty and had a LOT of mint chip chunks :) I liked how it was very quiet and had a little bookshelf. Was able to relax and read one of the magazines(even though it was from Oct. 2010… It’s the same stuff every month anyway)

This place is so close to my house that I want to love it, but am disappointed every time I go. It just isn’t the warm and friendly coffee shop I want it to be — and that I am used to. And it doesn’t seem to matter how many people are there. I can be the only customer, or one of 5 people in the place and the staff always to seems to have the same mildly unpleasant disposition. The previous time I went it took nearly ½ an hour to get a breakfast burrito and they actually forgot ½ my order. Perhaps I just have bad luck, but I think I’m giving up on them.

Love Love Love The Bean Counter. I am especially a fan of their Chai Lattes, which come in a Spiced Chai or a Vanilla Chai, hot or blended. My toddler loves the 80 below, which is a chocolate drink. It’s not healthy and tastes like Godiva chocolate in a cup and it’s sooooo good! They also sell Isabella’s Cookies, fruit, pastries, etc. Francesco is the best barista! He sometimes sits in there and plays the guitar. This place is a gem.

Under New Management — again? This little coffee shop, within walking distance of my house, has another new owner. How many has it been? I don’t remember but a few. Strolled over the other night, anixious to give this place a try. I very much want to a great coffee shop within walking distance. That would be sooo convenient! The inside is basically the same as before, just some minor redecorating. Don’t get me wrong, the shop has always been nicely decorated; the counter and equipment still in great shape. I ordered an Americano from a very knowledgeable and personable server. We were the only customers and he was the only worker; the coffees were ready in short order and we sat down to enjoy the brew. I guess we came during his«clean the floor» period because he started to sweep the shop. Behind us, next to us; he swept here and he swept there. All the time we had to talk over the broom noise. Then he started to mop the floor, using PINESOL! I politely told him the smell was too strong and was irritating. His response was that that was why he propped open the door. Ok, the smell was strong, irritating AND it was COLD! F-it we left. Next time? The coffee was good so I’ll give it another try, maybe I’ll call ahead to make sure the floors weren’t on the schedule.
