I have been coming to this bar for a few years. Great little local dive bar. I like designated motorcycle parking right at the entrance to the back door. They have a pool table, shuffle board and free peanuts. I like that the bar tenders chill the bottled beer in ice. There is a mixed crowd that frequents the bar. During Monday night football they have free food and I might say that it’s pretty Dam Good too! They have a well stocked bar and a good selection of bottled beer. There is a single tap of draft beer, which usually contains a wheat or a seasonal beer. I like to go on Wednesday nights for the karaōke. They occasionally have a live band on either Friday or Saturday night. The staff here is great. Bottom line — for a «Dive Bar» this is one of the best dive bars in the south bay that is why I gave a five star rating!

Service and everything was great but when we were leaving the bouncer made a bad and rude comment to my gay friend and it was upsetting. This is not a GAY friendly place and won’t be back!

Found another great dive bar! Cheap drinks, heavy pour and friendly bartender Mel. Came in late afternoon and had a nice mix of people. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m anywhere near here!

this place has been there for years Toms Thirsty Club and was a hangout for the north Redondo bikers including Fats, Dick Allen, Sonny Mount, Mel Disharoon, Jim Monda, Bob Bitchen, and a host of others back in the day.

Any bar that OPENS at 6 am and closes at 2 am seven days a week is a challenge for any functional alcoholic. My favorite DIVEEE Bar! Peanut shells on the floor, juke box, one pool table… the basics. No food, except for a burrito truck that may stop by from time to time late nites. Like I said, the basics. Good to Great people there! I must warn you it can get a bit rowdy once in a while. But I can be a rowdy girl sometime especially on drinking weekends after a f-ed up week at work! You can let off some steam here and wont get kicked out immediately for brushing elbows too hard or being pissy drunk which is Cool, Ive been both: P Ive personally seen blood shed there on two occasions… One, a friendly drunk guy who bought me and my boyfriend drinks passed out and split the back of his head on the sidewalk. The ambulance came and all was well, party on! And the second occasion was extremely cool with the bartender actually erotically slicing her boyfriend’s side with a pocket knife till he bled. Very hot and extremely unusual for a public establishment you would think… Blood… was that Legal? I personally thought it was the coolest thing I ever saw! :-) Never bored here! No fake As* hermosa beach white boys spending their trust fund. Its Bikers, working men and women. Moms and Dads cutting lose on a Saturday night without the kids. Single people trying to get laid! Single girl hotties! Male guy Hunks… That one rich guy trying to be cool again… and that one weird trucker guy you should never take a ride from no matter how drunk you get… Everyone’s here having fun! I have drank here for over 10 years and will not recommend anyplace else! Every one here drinks hard and has a great time. Take my advise, order a taxi in advance and come on a Saturday night. Good Times!!! ;-)

Peanut shells on the floor, good people, friendly bartenders, rock and roll and country music. In general this is hands down my favorite bar to go to and will continue to do so. I was introduced by a friend and bought lots of drinks, the bartender ended up undercharging us. Free shots in the process. Every night I come here, the experience gets better. Keep it friendly.

The Bar: Outside: Located on the corner of Artesia Blvd. & Inglewood Blvd. lies this great little dive. Bright red exterior with your standard beer neon on the front window. Shares a wall with a vape shop for all your vapor needs. Inside: As soon as we walked in, we knew we were home. The smell… of what looks like a great dive. Not a bad smell by any means, but if you’ve been to a good dive, then you know exactly what I am talking about. Stale beer, cheap perfume… and the over whelming smell of Axe body stuck in my nose holes, from what I though was a light dusting, earlier. I have always been a fan of a dive with shuffleboard and this place does not disappoint. Very nice table with electronic scoring(get the pucks from the bartender). Pool table to the left($.50), straight cues, flat table. 17 bar stools and 4 high tables. AMI Bar-link jukebox. The Crowd: Not much going on when we arrived. A couple of cougars, who were dressed like this was a pre-game stop, but were still there when I returned 5 hours later, and couple of guys in the back, one which was the owner. Pretty quite place. I returned around midnight for a few minutes, mariachi music filled the air, still pretty empty inside… had a beer and split. Prices: $ 7.00 heavy pour premium cocktails, $ 4.50 domestic bottles, $ 5.00 Fireball, $ 5.00 well drinks. Restroom: Take a deep breath prior to entering. That’s all I have to say about that. Bartender: This evening was Sissy. Closing statement: Good spot. Had a good time, definitely plan on returning in the future.

This is my favorite dive bar. The prices here are amazing. They make the best bloody Mary in town. I’ve had the pleasure of having Kat and Nikole serve my drinks. Both make excellent drinks. I always end up coming on Weds nights and Kat is usually the one bartending at that hour when they are hosting karaōke. There are some regulars here but nothing cliquey like you might experience at other dive bars. The peanuts here are pretty good. They offer small bags of chips for like a buck. The bar is a little hole in the wall. Glassware is always clean. Stools are comfy. The seating is on a raised platform so its not wheelchair friendly but they have cocktail tables available and I’m sure the bartender would accommodate for disabled persons. Again the drinks are amazingly priced and strong. If you are looking for a no frills place with good drinks and people, check them out.

I love the bar, love the price. There’s only a particular bartender that is very unprofessional. In my opinion, I know that I do not want to come back when i have a bad experience at a place, especially if it’s with an employee. If you don’t remember what you said to Nicole the bartender at the the thirsty club, don’t come back. Nicole will use that information to make you feel unwelcomed, if she doesn’t like you. I don’t know if anyone else had this experience with her but this employee kicked my car door shut. Very unprofessional for any job! We all had those drunken nights but tell u the truth, we all would like to feel to come back to a bar like nothing happened. This isn’t the bar to come back if Nicole is working and hearing all the drunken secrets. I guess I have to wait till she’s burned out to come back! It’s too bad, I liked this bar.

Little bit of a horror story(just never experienced any treatment like this in all my life). Lowest review possible for unethical treatment/discrimination. My boyfriend and I were living in California at the time(a few blocks away) and we decided to explore some of the bars in the area. We walked in and it was a trashy/dirty/sticky looking little dive bar, which would be overlooked with brownie points for good staff and drinks/prices. The guy at the bar was nice when we first walked in, immediately asked for our IDs since we look so young, and the second he took a look at them and I guess saw we were from Hawaii his disposition changed dramatically. It was actually pretty scary and threatening. He looked PISSED, refused to serve us and literally kicked us out. So didn’t even get to experience the place. But I think the rating for that treatment alone is justifiable. After that, there are no such things as brownie points even if it was an amazing non crack spot bar, which it is not. Beyond rude. Unprofessional. Prejudice. Who treats somebody(a CUSTOMER) like that?! I was so confused and upset, but more«what the heck just happened». That shouldn’t happen anywhere. That’s like kicking out somebody for race or sexual orientation. Nobody should be treated that way. I wonder has anyone else experienced anything similar at this bar? Bottom line — Avoid.

Good drinks, solid main television at the bar. There’s a pool table, 50 cents a game which is really cheap. I wouldn’t say it is the cleanest bar, but it’s a dive bar what do you expect. Older crowd, but you get some young people as well. A lot of oldies and classic rock at the jukebox. I like this bar. You will certainly get drunk here. My girl lives six blocks away so we can stumble home haha.

When pulling a graveyard shift nothing is more important than the drink afterwards. Here’s how I did… Got off work at 8:30 and met up with a couple of my peers. Thirsty Club seems to be the meeting grounds that works for all of us. Good thing that they open at 6am although I’ve never been that early. Isabelle(picture) is the bartender on Monday morning as is always friendly. She remembers that I’m getting married soon and always asks about the wedding which is good for an extra star. With a couple TV’s you can watch news or sportcenter, whatever you like. I’ve only been here 3x and it’s mostly guys so if you’re looking to pick up women you’re going to the wrong dive. Although Isabelle has said she’s looking for a man, i think she wanted one of my friends. All in all The Thirsty is a great bar. Open at 6am, nice bartender, cheap drinks and the patrons all welcome you in. Will I again? For sure, it’s nice to have beer at 9 en la mañana… Tootles

Totally random dive bar in Redondo Beach. Came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday! Love the cheap drinks, and love the complimentary peanuts. Thanks for a good time, Thirsty Club! Name is hilarious btw. Ladies, it was a major sausage-fest here, so be ready for some gawkers — unless you like that sorta thing. In that case, it’s a great place to meet a lot of men! It looks like there are lots of regulars, who guard their Thirsty Club territory. Just don’t make too much direct eye contact with many people, and I think you should be just fine…

Haha wow. Thirsty Club. Serious dive bar in N. Redondo, located on the corner of Artesia and Inglewood. Cheap drinks and sometimes overly friendly patrons make this a fun and interesting(stressss on the interesting) spot to hangout. Word of advice: beware the guy that lives in the parking lot; he doesn’t smell too fresh and has zero discrepancy regarding what hell say to a pretty girl haha. You’ve been warned! Seriously though, cool spot that’s worth checking out, full of north Redondo locals, but definitely friendly to anyone and everyone. Most of the patrons are on the older side and tend to be male. One of the bartenders actually told me she was grateful I was there because it showed that Thirsty isn’t a gay bar… due to all the dudes. Karaōke on Wednesday, free pool, and as always in true dive fashion, cheap and strong drinks. Not my favorite hang out, but its nice to have a local dive.
