Dr. Phillips is a rare find in the world of dentistry, especially if you are what we call a «Dental Chicken» like myself. I had avoided the dentist for far too long and ended up needing a couple old fillings replaced and also a bunch of small surface cavities. He handled everything so patiently and even managed to distract the first shot, barely felt it. He talks to you about each step and is warm hearted and tries to keep you relaxed and at ease. The hygienists also have a gentle touch and work professionally.
Anel the manager/​front desk is on TOP OF IT ALL! From scheduling appointments to following up about insurance, even if you can’t get an appointment right away she is thorough with the cancellation list.
You wont avoid Dr. Phillips! He’s the best, as long as he practicing he will be my dentist.

I was looking for a dentist near my home in Redondo Beach and happily found Dr. Phillips. I’m not a big fan of dentists and have been really taken advantage of in the past and was THRILLED to find a dentist that was professional, personable, and honestly cared about my overall health.
I’ve had one root canal, 2 cavities and a crown done in the past 2 months, so having spent alot of time and money at this office, I can with confidence highly recommend Dr. Phillips.
Also, the office manager, Annelle, is amazingly patient and super kind. She is always helpful when I’m asking about my dental plan coverage. She will always clearly lay out what your plan covers so you have no surprises.

Dr. Phillips is such a wonderful dentist, and is so warm hearted! I work in the field of dentistry as an assistant, and Dr. Phillips was kind enough to let me intern there for my needed hours. Every patient I saw under his care absolutely adored him and have been committed to his services for years. Not only is he extremely friendly, but he is genuinely a fantastic dentist. If you are looking for a dentist in the South Bay, look no further. Dr. Phillips is the best :)
