Lowest skill in customer service. My entire experience here from the moment asked for coffee was horrible; 1. Stale coffee 2. Noticed that my change was handed to me without a receipt.(I turned and said yay son we get a dozen donuts on Winchells) If I would have know this is what would happen over $ 9.00 I would have never mentioned it TAKETHESIGNDOWN! 3. The lady argued that she gave me the a receipt. 4. Blamed me, after finding the receipt in the trash. 5. She then called someone she described as the Owner — I explained the situation, and this man was even more RUDE to me and my son. 6. He said that he would not honor their sign, and we are just the TYPEOFPEOPLETHATWANTFREEFOOD! I asked him to please speak in English, he said they do not speak English. I understood his rude comments and am saddened that this is how customers are treated at this location. My son and I have never been so embarrassed in our lives. Never again!!! Rotten Service BAD management and the man that described himself as the OWNER was unbelievably loud and rude!

I’ve been to this location at least 4 times hoping to get good donuts but every single time the donuts are gross and they taste like old grease. Other friends of mine have said told me the same thing.

This place is really clean and the donuts are fresh. The old lady was very nice and has a great attitude. I will be getting my hot coffee here for this cold weather.

Dear Mr Donut(yes, I’m speaking to the donut), I haven’t seen you in a while and it will probably be some time before we meet again. That’s not a bad thing. Don’t worry, there will be others to take my place in the meantime. For now, just keep tasting good and satisfying those sweet tooths. The donuts here are good especially when fresh. If they aren’t out of the oven or fryer fresh, then a quick couple of seconds zap in the microwave will bring the softness back. Just don’t leave them in there too long. The coffee is basic, hot and strong.

Used to Dunkin donuts, but couldn’t find a location near by. My navigator kept showing Winchelle Donut house, so we tried it. Not much different from Dunkin, albeit less variety on hand.

These people need to be trained on customer service! News Flash, I am the customer, I am doing you a favor by shopping in your business… they are always grumpy, not happy to see customers at all!(I have stopped here on a number of occasions to pick up a donut) This morning I stood in line with my granddaughter, when it was my turn, the guy didn’t even look at me, and took an order for coffee from the day worker behind me, I looked around like WTH? HELLO!!! Did you not see me standing here waiting patiently??? When I called him on it he said oh the other guy was helping you… hmmm really? Cuz he was in the back filling some kind of bucket. NEVER going to stop here again!

I feel a little compelled to write a review, cause my feelings be ewwww Ordered a donut with rasperry fillin, and felt coo i’m chillin Then I got hungry, got a chipotle sandwich Open it up, and damn, all I see is small bits of ham and the rest of the meat? looks like nothing you would ever eat Certainly doesn’t look ANYTHING like the outside poster, more like mixed up chunks from the trash disposer!

Winchell’s is a Southern California tradition that started in Temple City and is now throughout L.A. This may be the saddest location of them all. Winchell’s is owned by Yum Yum Donuts and is remarkably as underwhelming as it’s parent doughnut company. In an era were fresh donuts are everywhere and cool new filled donuts or cronuts are popping up daily, this Winchell’s really feels dated. It’s slogan may be «Home of the Warm ‘n Fresh Donut,» but I stopped in for a bag of donuts for dessert and found it to be the«Shop of the Dry ‘n Old Donut.» There is one main positive with this Winchell’s. It’s the sweet lady that was working behind the counter. After realizing I was there, she came out and greeted me with a smile while waiting patiently for me to choose. She’s good at her job. +1 star for her. I ended up with a Chocolate-frosted Glazed Donut, a Maple-frosted Bar, and a Glazed Old-fashioned Cake Doughnut. None were really worth the calories or fat. Sigh.

I usually pick up donuts on my way to work around 5:15AM, and I always seem to get stale ones… I either gottta find out there baking schedule or find a new shop. $ 10 minimum for credit cards, and the debit has an additional fee, I believe.

French crullers are the best. Arrive early for best selection of warm doughnuts.

AWFUL nothing like seeing latex gloves on the counter not being used, then watching some dirty person touch your food all over. im sure you’ve been picking your butt all day sir, please dont put your dirty fart smell fingers on my donut! that, and the donuts werent fresh at all! actually one of the worst donuts ive ever attempted to eat in my life. my entire beverage couldnt wash this concrete donut down, so ultimately i gave up on it. it seems like these guys buy donuts that entenmann’s puts on clearance! never again. this place is horrific. let alone half the time they dont take credit/debit. hello? this is a business?
