I’ve been to the truck twice now and got mac and ribs both times, no regrets. Upon observation the salad was ginormous, the pizza looked like pizza, and I once got the tri-​tip sandwich for a coworker who devoured it, but I will probably never order anything but the mac and ribs unless its double or triple mac and ribs.
The portions are more than fair too, in fact I think the portion/​price ratio is spot-​on especially for the taste and quality. The people who run the truck are really nice as well, all smiles.

The bus was at a horse park in Woodside and everyone was raving about his hood the food was. Tried it (had the BBQ chicken sandwich) — oh ya!
Healthy portions, BBQ done just right, meat was flavorful, not too sweet, and the meat super tender. Super good quality!

Friendly staff & underwhelming pizza. I got a margarita pizza and it looked really good, but the crust was terrible. The crust seemed under-​baked and had a sort of sour and floury taste to it. It wasn’t cheap either for a plate sized pizza ($ 12 after tax).

The chicken sandwiches are ridiculously delicious. The chicken breast is moist, and the bun perfectly toasted. Their fries are also perfectly seasoned and super yummy. The staff is friendly and the service is wonderful and quick. Highly recommended!

This company and the staff are amazing. Used the BBQ Express bus for an event in Sept. of 2014. The truck is super fun looking — the food was VERY VERY good and the whole staff was AWESOME to work with. The truck was on time — the food was fresh — we had about 150 people and no one waited more then 5 minutes for their food and everyone at the event raved about the food and the service. They whole staff was super nice and fun. I would definitely use them again (and probably many times).

I have used the Absolute BBQ Express Bus for a few events now and I can’t tell you how great they are! The food is excellent! You know its fresh when they are tossing the pizza dough in front of you! There bus has a pizza oven! My guests couldn’t stop talking about how great the food was both times I used ABC. Of course the team you work with is so important as well. Everyone at ABC has been so helpful! They were tireless in making sure my menu was exactly what I wanted and the staff on site was friendly, helpful, energetic and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. I would recommend ABC and the Express Bus to anyone looking for catering they do much more than just BBQ. They are amazing!

These guys are fantastic! I’ve been working along side Kacey to have the BBQ bus on our work campus. She’s been a really big help and everyone here LOVES their food. The only complaint i have is the wait. However, the reason for the long wait is because everyone wants to get their fingers in the food!
The loaded fries are the best! Definitely a must get. The prices aren’t bad at all. If you see the bus rolling in, make sure you make you don’t miss out!

Had their loaded mac & cheese. Didn’t think it was all that good. The mac & cheese part was just too liquid. There’s no sauciness to their cheese. Maybe they forgot the cheese? It’s like they took some cooked macaroni pasta, threw it in the tin. Threw some cheese and other stuff on top and then sold that. Not at all impressed. The pulled pork meat on top was just ok. Overall experience was totally meh. For $ 7 it’s pretty underwhelming.
On a separate occasion Absolute BBQ was set up near our office. Ended up getting the pulled pork pizza. That was better than the mac & cheese, but that needed work as well. The flavors were all pretty good, but the execution was just so so. The pizza crust was really undercooked and squishy. It would have been better with a thinner crust and a higher cooking temperature. When I got into my pizza it was just warm — not hot. I should have noticed when I put the cover on the plate that there was no steam on the cover.

Dry and tough pork ribs. Got the ribs with a side of Mac n cheese at Willows Mkt tonight. Good was big portion size. Serious poundage on both ribs and Mac. Bad was that ribs were too tough and dry to eat. Ribs covered in lots of tasty sauce — the backs were scored with cuts to let in more sauce, but even that trick wasn’t enough to help. Mac was tasty and I will consider Mac loaded with pulled pork and onions on future visit.

Id been seeing the Catering truck for years. But I never got to try their food. Well you no longer need catering as they have a BBQ Bus! Caught them at a local event in Menlo Park. Got the spare ribs and mac&cheese as my side. Holy cow, this was a lot of food. I think I had enough for two meals. Good flavor on both items. THe bus is really slick and even has tv’s so we got to watch the Giants/A’s game while waiting. THey also have salads, sandwiches and pizzas so Ill have to try those another time.
