I just bought a sub here. He put gloves on and started making my sandwich. Midway he rang me up wearing the same gloves. I paid in cash and he gave back my change and continued making my sandwich in the same exact gloves he was wearing. Disgusting! That’s going to be my first and last time going there.

Love the banh mi’s. It’s a filling, tasty, and warm piece of heaven. Very friendly service. Vegetarian friendly too.

More mayo than any other ingredient. The subs are good but if you’re not okay with eating a tablespoon of mayo in every single bite then don’t ask for any.

Such a solid sandwich shop! There are so many sandwiches to choose from. Fresh ingredients, great bread. The people are super friendly. It’s the perfect place to get lunch and fill that sandwich craving. Don’t forget to get their garlic sauce! I would definitely recommend it.

My go to spot everytime I’m in the area! Definitely one of the best sandwich shops I’ve been to. Always have the freshest ingredients and best service. I usually get helped by Andy. His recommendations are always spot on since I am a picky eater. They have a wide variety of sandwiches. Even bagels, donuts, soups, etc. Their avocados are always fresh and delicious. Will definitely keep coming back!

There might be a new owner because quality as gone way down. First, don’t microwave your soups. And if you are, don’t let your customers observe it. Second, my sandwich was one of the worst I have had in awhile. Subway was a better option that day. Sad, this place used to be good. Know it’s no where near worth what they charge. So many other sandwich options in RWC.

Lots of options of sandwiches from American to Vietnamese! Came here in a Tuesday around noon and there was basically no one sitting around. But it seems that a lot of people order to go instead. When I walked in, everyone was very inviting and as I sat there they welcomed everyone that came through their doors with a smile. Ordered a bbq banh mi(Vietnamese sandwich) and it was on point. Was perfectly crispy and not too much to the point that it would cut up your mouth. Warm and full of flavor. I definitely recommend and at only $ 6! Not a bad price! Great place to grab some quick lunch or just to sit around and relax.

I go here a lot, it’s one of my staple RWC lunch spots. They are both a red-white-and-blue American sub shop and a place to get super delicious Vietnamese sandwiches. The variety is what keeps me coming back, I can switch between the different cuisines depending on how I’m feeling. If you’re going for the American subs, get the garlic sauce. It’s really great and amps it up beyond the generic Subway experience. Their cold cuts and veggies… well, they’re not the locally sourced, organic, freshly picked goodness that we’re spoiled with around the Bay Area… it’s kind of your generic, grown-in-Chile, bland varieties. That’s why I didn’t give 5 stars. However, if you go Vietnamese, wow, things are different! Their meats and sauces are fantastic, pickled radish is great… veggies are probably the same as the American subs but there’s other good stuff in there to keep you going. So anyway, definitely a solid lunch spot in RWC.

I want to say that I do not like to give out 1-star reviews unless they are absolutely necessary but this one definitely takes the cake. Also this order was made on for work. My girlfriend and I decided to try this place for lunch. I had high hopes for this place because who does not love a good vietnamese sandwich?! Anyways she decided to order a their chicken breast salad and I tried their turkey bacon sandwich. First of all let us start off with my girlfriend salad. Salad: the lettuce mixed used was bought from costco in the clamshell, there is nothing wrong with that of course. What is wrong is that they used the canned chicken from costco, drained it, seared it a little and topped it off on the salad. The reason I know this is because I buy this chicken… for my cats! It was just absolutely disgusting and smelt horrible. Even our co-workers said«WTF is canned chicken doing on your salad»?! needless to say she didnt eat much for lunch that day. Turkey Bacon sandwich: The dutch crunch bread was good, the jalapenos and other toppings were amazing. The main problem with this sandwich comes down to the meats once again. They used the cheapest cuts of turkey I have ever seen or tasted and the bacon… So I took the top bread off my sandwich to check out the bacon because I didnt see that lovely brown color… Thats because it was white uncooked bacon! I ended up taking the meat off and having a jalapeño, pickle, and lettuce sandwich that day… I just can not believe a sandwich place uses such cheat cuts of meats and were too lazy to even microwave my bacon before putting it on my sandwich because that bacon was still as white as milk. I expected better because of the reviews but WEWILLNEVEREATHEREAGAIN.

Excellent service! Workers here are friendly and accommodating to their customers’ requests. Prices are reasonable and the food is tasty! One of the workers let me have the last bit of coffee l, free of charge one morning. May not sound like a big thing, but it’s nice to know they’re not stingy about making money on every single thing. Good job!

This review is for my order from . I keep getting confused about which banh mi place I like since we have 2 options on our menu, and I was too lazy to double check on Unilocal. That laziness lead to another order of the Grilled Pork Sandwich($ 5.50 + Avocado $ 1.35, ), which was still meh. The grilled pork is just so bland! The rest of the sandwich was ok, and I liked that the jalapenos were actually spicy. However, I really need to remember to stop ordering from here since the sandwich overall isn’t very good.

Like the Sandwich Maker in Los Gatos, Broadway Sub is a mainstream sandwich shop that also happens to serve a few Vietnamese specialties. Besides their extensive selection of sandwiches, they serve a variety of breakfast fare including bagels, lots of donuts, and, of course, a variety of coffee drinks. I dropped by at an early hour(they open at 7:00 am) to try a Banh mi(of course). While prices are higher than San Jose, there aren’t many Banh mi options in this part of the Peninsula and the price is justified partly by generous ingredient quantities. Combination Banh Mi — $ 5.95. The bread was fresh and delicious and the combination including three Vietnamese meat varieties that I’m guessing were cha lua(Vietnamese pork roll), cured ham, and pork. There was also plentiful liver pâté, mayonnaise and pickled vegetables. All in all it was a tasty and hearty sandwich but all the meat made it taste more like an super sized Americanized sandwich(think Ike’s bursting with roast beef, pastrami, and ham) than the more traditional Vietnamese sandwiches with more vegetables and pâté. Both styles are great and I was full with half. Broadway Sub accepts credit cards including American Express.

It can be challenging to eat well for under ten dollars around here. I can’t say anything about their non-Viet sandwiches. Their Ban Mi is super good though, plus you can get bagels and doughnuts too. Hmmm, I think I’ll get a sandwich there tomorrow.

It was my first time trying this place and i decided to stop here since i luv luvvvv luvvvv my vietnamese sandwich. Plus, I heard great things about broadway subs. I can say ill be back bery soon. Everyone working here is so helpful and nice. It’s so delicious and the best part is you get a great portion for what you pay for :). Who doesn’t love that?!

I was initially thrown off by the $ 6 price tag of a banh mi, since I would normally pay just $ 3 – 4 at a casual Vietnamese shop. But when they handed us the bag, I suddenly got super-excited at the heftiness. They smelled great in the car, and when we unwrapped the sandwiches, it was loaded with meat. Let me break it down… a normal banh mi’s bread-to-filling ratio is around 2:1(look at a pic from Lee’s Sandwiches). At Broadway, you get a solid 1:1 ratio. It’s like a Philly Cheesesteak! So I figure I’m basically paying the premium, but fairly getting 2 sandwiches, with half the carbs. So good on Broadway. Viet coffee was good too.

I came here with some friends, and they really love Broadway Sub. So, I had gone with them this time around. I ordered the pastrami on wheat. It was a good sandwich, but found it odd that the pastrami seemed to be sliced like packaged lunch meat. Maybe I’m just used to the more sliced up/shredded looking pastrami, but it wasn’t bad. You definitely get a big sandwich, and apparently they have this specialty sauce that it great. I didn’t try the sauce this time around, but I probably will next time. The reason I gave this place a 4 is because of the price. I’m not sure if they charge for the lettuce, onions, olives, etc. My sandwich was $ 5.50 listed on the menu, and ended up paying almost $ 10 with a bottle of soda. Even with tax for just a sandwich should only be $ 6 at most, and I would hope my soda wasn’t $ 4. I would definitely come back to this place, and ask about the pricing of their sandwiches.

Yayyy! This place is so good! They have SUCH a large variety of sandwiches, you name it and they probably can make it! What I loved? The Viet sandwich. And i’m a tough critic. When the guy that rang me up told me that it’s «the best,» I was skeptical. I’m happy to say that it is the best I’ve had in a long while! A lot of meat, pâté, veggies, fresh bread, mmmm I want another just thinking about it now! They have viet coffee, and so many other drinks too, there is something for everyone! A good sign? It got crazy crowded during lunch time. The staff are quick and efficient. They’re going to get you in and out as fast as they can. They also have pastries so I’m sure those are yummy first thing in the morning, or hey, later in the day too. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, so bring a friend and grab a seat!

Great place. They serve bahn mi sandwiches here, but even though we got one of those, I actually preferred the good ol’ regular ham, turkey, and bacon sandwich on a dutch crunch roll. The bahn mi was ok, but I wouldn’t come here for that unless you’re really craving that type of sandwich. It’s otherwise just a really solid sandwich place in downtown RWC. They also serve Vietnamese iced coffees. Looks like a pretty solid choice overall if you work in the area and want a simple, no frills place for lunch.

Stopped by to grab a quick lunch, I didn’t expect the sandwich I made to be so good. I added the recommended garlic sauce and of course avocado, they were not cheap on the avocado. Sandwich was really filling I had to take the other half Togo. The wonton soup is a must try too, it’s made from scratch and had a homemade taste. Employees are super friendly! I recommend using the leap star app for a free sandwich or 5 bucks off your order.

The employees are friendly, but the food is just okay. They have a wide variety of sandwiches on their menu, including banh mi! I’ve tried their pork banh mi twice — the bread to meat ratio was too high and the meat wasn’t the most flavorful. I’ve definitely had better, but they weren’t terrible. They also have a few salad options — I tried the grilled chicken salad recently. Although the salad had lots of fresh veggies, the chicken was definitely processed. :(Maybe their other sandwiches are better? I’ll probably come back to try one of those next time. Tip: if you order on Leapset for the first time, you get $ 5 off your order!
