I did not appreciate the service I just received by one of the gentleman working there. I called in and asked if they carried replacement tips for high heels he replied yes, so I said, OK I’ll be right over. I brought one shoe in to show him what color and what size I needed for the replacement tips. He grabbed the shoe from me and told me that he does not sell replacement tips and began fixing the shoe without even holding a conversation. I told him if you do not sell the tips then I will just purchase them online. he got frustrated because I had asked for replacement tips only. Didn’t think it was a big deal to ask a shoe repair shop for shoe accessories. If he didn’t want to sell me the tips that would of been fine he could of simply said that without being so heated up over nothing. I never wright reviews on Unilocal but This man was not polite whatsoever. He was frustrated and I said will you sell me tips or not? In the end after telling him what I needed he sold me 4 tips for $ 10. I regret buying them and giving him the business for high priced shoe parts like that. I’m glad everyone else is getting good service here though.

I am beyond thrilled to report that the two lovely gentlemen at CINDERELLA were able to fix the shoulder strap on my cross-​chest style Dooney-​Bourke handbag. Within minutes, I had my favorite purse back in working orderand for a very nominal fee along with their kind words and a departing smile.

awesome service and pricing is good! They recently fixed my toddler son’s sperry shoes… he has wide feet and I needed them to stretch it… ta-​dah! Amazing work. I’ve come here many times to fix my heels or tops of shoes. They always do a great job and has amazing service.

Very DISHONEST!
Twice within the last month the final price at payment was different from the quoted amount (which was written clearly on the ticket).
Last time the lady at the counter reluctantly agreed to honor the amount on the ticket, which was in her own handwriting.
Today, she insisted that I had asked for a «polish» on a pair of barely worn shoes and added $ 5 to my bill even though my ticket clearly showed that I DID NOT ask for the additional service.
Is $ 5 worth losing a customer?

The only good thing I can say is that they were open beyond listed hours.
I had a simple repair… fix strap holding buckle. Nothing a little glue couldn’t fix but I decided to forgo diy and save myself some time. Dropped off shoe… told 3 days. Really? Such a simple repair? But whatever…3 days it is.
Came in 5 days later and they couldn’t find my shoe. Lost in such a short period of time?! Okay whatever… call me when you find it.
3 weeks later, they call. Yes…3 weeks later. And when I went to pick it up, they didn’t apologize. Then they charge me $ 8. I informed them of their mistake and yet they still did nothing to make up for their error. Wow. Beyond words.
I get it… mistakes happen. I’ve lost a shoe myself (although it’s not my business). What really got me was their lack of customer service and failure to make their *former customer satisfied. Seriously, there’s another shoe repair shop down the street. Hopefully this review saves you the time and frustration I experienced.

Let me preface this review by saying I have been to Cinderella Shoe Service several times and yes I have had some decent service. However the past several times I’ve been back the quality of the craftsmanship has been deplorable.
Lets start with my elastic sandal strap I had to get replaced several times, on the same sandal mind you, because they initially put a flimsy elastic strap when my sandals are platforms and quite heavy. Once I brought it to their attention they then complained about the weight of the shoe and then decided it rendered a stronger elastic strap. Great, problem solved after going back several times and paying for the replacement each time when it should’ve been done correctly the first time.
The final straw with this place happened when I wanted to get my purse strap replaced. They told me no problem and I picked up the purse only a few days after the repair. The strap looked great, until I looked closer and the strap was basically two straps glued together at the top, where the strap would hit my shoulder. I was shocked so I went back for it to be replaced or to get my money back. One of the older men working there gave me this song and dance about how he didn’t have a long enough strap so he had to fuse two together with glue. Thank you for the clarification sir, that is exactly why I am here because the quality is very bad and amateur. Essentially, I felt taken advantage of. The fact that he would willing tell me he can fix it but instead risked the integrity of his establishment to sell me terrible work.
Long story short he said he couldn’t fix his mistake because he did not have the materials and handed me my refund in cash and THEN asked me for the strap he put on my purse. .. . BACK!!! Are you serious?!
While I appreciate the effort I would’ve rather had him tell me that he didn’t have the proper materials instead of saying yes and charging me, a lot in my opinion, for horrible, lackluster work.
Note to management, hone your customer service skills, don’t over promise and don’t jeopardize the integrity of your work for money only to lose a, what would’ve been a returning customer, forever.

When the zipper of my favourite leather jacket broke, I was expecting an expensive repair. Someone from my town told me to have Cinderella Shoe Service try to fix it. So I went to redwood city, expecting the worst. Cinderella Shoe Service got it fixed for 12 $ and within 15min!
It was such a nice experience. Small, cozy shop, nice owners who really understands what he is doing. I can only highly recommend that place and will for sure come back again.

I brought in a brand new leather jacket to get treated. They were friendly and very personable. I appreciate that in a business. I was concerned about turning over such an expensive item but I felt very comfortable here. They did the work as promised and completed in the agreed time. No problems. They kept me informed throughout the process and l walked away feeling good about the experience.

Very satisfied with how my leather boots turned out. I needed new soles, in-​soles, heels and the lining repaired — was quoted $ 80 for the pair which I thought was very reasonable but was charged $ 59 when I went to pick them up! The one-​week turn around time was an added bonus.
I’m very happy with the results — you can’t even see where the repairs on the bottom of the shoe were made and now my boots will probably last another 4 years!

Outstanding service! I have a new red leather jacket that discolored because I tried to clean them using leather cleaner :(. I brought it immediately to Cinderella (after doing some research). He said it will be hard to recover perfectly because of the color of my jacket (it will be hard to match the color) but he will try his best and he gave me a very very reasonable quote. After a week, I picked up my jacket. He told me that He wont charge me because He can’t do a perfect job with the color. OMG, I am very satisfied with the result (look at the pictures). I thought my jacket is beyond repair and he make it much much better! Thank you so much for the great service! I will definitely come back.

Absolutely outstanding service. Had a pair of leather shoes that got transformed to «like new» and three pairs of boots resoled and touched up that look new.
Recommended to the highest degree. They will take care of your shoes at a reasonable price.

It’s a pretty straightforward business. I wear my heels until their absolute last moments and my mom recommended that I come here to have some of my favorites resoled and have new heel taps put on. He did it in a week and they came back as good as new. $ 12 a pair seems fair for the quality of work that I received.

I needed some shoes fixed quickly and by that I mean same day service… during the holidays when they were slammed. They came through for me, fixed the shoes with amazing work and charged me a small price to boot. I’ll be back with a bagful of shoes I’ve been waiting to repair. Thrilled to find something so great and local to me.

So far Cinderella has repaired two pairs of expensive leather boots that were on the brink of ruin: heels worn too far and holes in the leather soles. On separate occasions I feared the guys at Cinderella would tell me it was too late to save the boots. Instead, after a quick look at the desperate soles, I was given a fast quote and a reasonable 1-​week pick-​up date. (Most places want a month.)
$ 55 for the men’s boots, and I was still concerned they were unrepairable. $ 40 for the women’s booties. We are so impressed with both pairs and the materials used, which will last years, the way shoes used to. Check the bottoms of your shoes – these guys are miracle workers.

I got a very nice pair of Italian Leather Boots. Perfect for all occasions– dressing up a little, wearing them with a mini skirt or rocking them in jeans. They went up to my knees, zipped up on the insides and fit my calves and ankles perfectly (which is rare because mine are kind of thin). They were so above any amount of money I had ever spent, that I almost had trouble wearing them out on the street or anywhere other than my living room. In my mind they were going to last an eternity or at least 4 – 5 years, because that’s how much I would have spent on winter boots for the next four years, if I had not fallen in lust with these.
Well– As I started to break those bad boys in, they became my standard option for almost anything… and every where I went for at least the first couple years– I would get comments and compliments. I adored these boots! So comfortable, so cozy (are you picking up that I am a shoe junkie yet or what?)

I went in a hurry to zip one side up and the zipper broke out and apart entirely! I was devastated, but I still had a little bit of hope, it hasn’t been five years yet. There was no way I was getting jibbed out of my next two years of these oh-​so-​comfortable, luxurious leather boots…
That’s when I found Cinderella Shoe Service. Little did they know I was willing to pay almost anything to fix these boots, that I hopelessly adored. I dropped off the boot, and the procedure was quick. The fellow behind the counter told me it will be either $ 60 or $ 10 depending on how serious the zipper situation wound up. I nodded graciously– and hope prevailed.
A week later, I went to pick up my single leather boot. Handed the guy the ticket and voila– my boot looked as good as new, brand new zipper and all! Repair cost was TEN DOLLARS! :-D Been rocking the boots in this cold wintry weather every single day since, thanks to the amazing guys over at Cinderella Shoe Service.
