The fact the lines move so much quicker now make getting gas here so easy! Only downside is getting into the gas station in the afternoon. But it’s also a busy intersection so you can’t hold that against them! Pretty decent prices as well!

This is hands down one of the best Costco gas stations on the SF peninsula, maybe even the whole Bay Area. This place is consistently free of long lines whether it’s the weekend or weekday…
On top of this, their gas prices are always cheaper than the sfo and south city locations… Win-​win in my books.
The only hiccup you might encounter here is probably the traffic on woodside rd during busy hours, but other than that, this is the place to be if your car is hungry!

As with ALL the Costco gas stations, they offer all $ 55++ paying card-​carrying members the cheapest gas in the area. The lines are relatively long even with the extra pumps they’ve added but they seem to move quickly at this location.

I guess I do like it that there is less of a wait, now that they added more lanes to the costco gas station. But the tradeoff is, it takes longer to park your car because you feel like you’re going through a freekin maze, with the way they re-​designed the parking lot lanes.
Ah well. Can’t have everything!

They have expanded to 20 pumps! And they are redoing the parking lot. Next step is adding the tanks for clean power.
Update as of 4÷11÷2014, they are still constructing the tanks to add clean power. However, I talked to them and they said they now have clean power which was added before delivery. So Redwood City Costco is now providing Clean Power in all of their gas!!!

Long lines, no squeegy, but cheap prices! I know it’s not the highest grade fuel and they usually source the fuel from leftover inventory, but I’m not driving a sports car right now so this gas will do for now.
It also looks like they’re expanding right now and should offer an additional 4 pumps any day now. Any time I’m on my way back to the city from the South Bay, I’ll probably drop by here to pick up some cheap gas!

I always get gas here when I’m in the area. The lines can be long on weekdays during afternoons but its worth the wait.
Is it just me or does Costco gas keep my car running longer than a tank of cheapy gas (aka Arco)?

Always the cheapest gas in the Bay Area, at least where you can use a credit card. Accepts AMEX, debit or cash only. If you come at peak times expect to wait up to 15 – 20 minutes, so instead come late and avoid the crowds.

Gas here is cheaper than my neighborhood by 40 cents or more and it is only 10 minutes away. I usually just go when I make my weekly Costco trip. Lines can be long especially on the weekend.
Pro tip: Opens at 6am on the weekdays. Go early. No lines.

Long lines long waits but 40cents cheaper than the cheapest available gas … I generally prefer to go finish shopping and fill gas at the same time. Worth it!

there are plenty of costco gas stations but in this area, redwood city blows the rest out of the water. well i guess im just comparing this one to the one in south san francisco cause those are the only two i go to. they are exactly the same but redwood city is always cheaper! and by like 10 cents. holy cow thats a lot when you add up in gallons. the hose is long to carry over the car. theres normally a line but it moves fast. cheapest gas in the area!

Cheapest gas I can find that isn’t Arco (I’ve been told it’s not the best quality). The lines can get long — especially on Fridays but it’s worth it. They always have people out their in case something goes wrong or you need help. This is the only place I know of that has this. Simply said, I like this gas station and make the trip to fill up here whenever possible.

Always disorganized. They need one line all the time, instead of just on the weekends.
People, remember the hoses are very long. They can reach around your car! It doesn’t matter which side your tank is on.
Costco petrol used to be the cheapest around, but not anymore. On my way home, I passed THREE stations that were either the same price or cheaper, and many didnt have a line at all.
I highly doubt ill be back.

Very good price on gas. Don’t be afraid of the lines! We waited in the lines but it went fast and we were pumping within 10. The gas station is perpendicular to the Costco building. Go to the Costco side during peak times because although you enter from the OSH side, we went to the OSH side and they make you wrap around back to the Costco side with cones cutting off the parking lot. There was an employee outside to help and he chatted with customers. Nice addition. The place was clean. The price was right. We’ll be back.

The line here is not set up very well. Go around by orchard supply rather than the Costco side to avoid traffic.

my 1st time at rwc’s costco & gas station, and i have to say, the general layout is very nicely organized. it was easy to see where the warehouse is and easy to spot the gas pumps, no driving around looking for signage like a lost deer.
going an hour or so before closing time is the way to go! i waited at most 5 minutes before it was my turn. staff was visibly present and available to help, unlike many other costco gas stations i’ve been to.
i only wish there were more pumps, only 12 here, which means 6 car lanes, so i can imagine it gets pretty crowded and the lines are pretty darn long during peak hours.
overall, very good experience, i think i may have found a new favourite costco gas station!
