FitHab

I have tried many other programs but this is the one I am sticking with. My main needs are increased flexibility and strength. I have seen constant gains with FitHab. Luis pushes me so that improvements are continual. Each session is divers and focuses on natural movement. My chronic pain has all but disappeared. This is the first time I can say that in 10 years. I feel better, move better and look better. We have only been working together for a few months but the improvements are all I could ask for.

I finally found a form of fitness that keeps me motivated, is never exactly the same, and brings me outdoors for much of the training! Luis at FitHab changed my outlook on fitness. I gave up on gyms because the monotony of machines and indoor fitness classes were not enjoyable – boring. But Luis runs his sessions on trails and in parks! He is a «fitness scientist» as he teaches clients the proper way to safely and naturally move while climbing rocks, trees, and hills! My workouts with FitHab are challenging, ever-​changing, and always motivating to want more. I can’t fully describe the experience in words — just trust that this 48 year old, who almost gave up on ever getting healthy, actually LOVES a good workout on the trails with Luis!

I participate in the MovNat Meetup group that FitHab runs. I don’t enjoy gyms as I get bored quickly and often bounce around from other methods of exercising as I never seem to have found anything that holds my interest for long periods. However MovNat does just that and more than anything it is fun. You smile and laugh during the classes. Since you are outside in parks there is more to watch around and to pay attention to as yo’re moving around. You need to be engaged with your surroundings. I like that it focuses on using what is there. One day we made our own sandbags with equipment at the park and another day we used the benches to jump off and trees to climb up. Being in the class reminds you of being a kid again and just enjoying being outside and moving around. I’ve also found you can apply a lot of the movements (and proper way to do them) to activities you may do during your regular day. It is very fun and supportive no matter your fitness level.

My 16 year old son has done 1:1 training with Luis for the last 1.5 years. My son loves it! They do several different activities every time, TRX, Rip Trainer, running, balance exercises, calisthenics. My son says, «Luis is tolerant and encourages you to improve. He knows what he’s doing every minute you’re working with him. At the end of the workout I always feel proud and look forward to my next workout.»

Excellent, highly recommend Luis has a personal trainer. He is motivated, loves exercise, extremely knowledgable in strength training and health. He is professional and detailed oriented. Will explain everything clearly… He will motivate you to love exercise too.

The class was great! Luis was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and he it was fun (Yes, I said FUN!). He tailored the class for the different levels, beginning to advance. Try the TRX and you will feel and work muscles you have not used before.
