For Redwood City little league this is the worst park of all to have games and practices scheduled at. The parking sucks, there is always a ton of soccer going on, and they lock the place up with only 1 entrance like it’s a jail. It’s also not in a great neighborhood so you get the taco trucks and loud circus music and the occasional creeper.

Came here for a soccer tournament tonight and while I thought the fields where pretty nice the fields the outdoor lights did just an ok job of lighting up the fields. Also based on the amount of cars and people we needed to park a ways away from the park I’m some industrial neighborhood which didn’t seem that safe. Also just some of the folks hanging out on the park area at night where also a little sketchy. Overall not a bad place to play some soccer games and was very happy they had some nice bathrooms with decent facilities.

good size park with lots of amenities: +baseball field +dedicated FREE parking lot +grassy area for picnics +picnic benches to sit on +restrooms i enjoy running through this park and occasionally working on out the grass. lots of spots to lay a mat down and get my om on or do some ab work. during ball games, the parking lot does fill up, so be prepared to find street parking in these cases. i usually see some food trucks nearby along spring st, so you can easily grab a quick bite to eat. if not, downtown rwc is just several blocks west of here. conveniently located near 101 + 84, but note that if you are coming from 101, you will need to make a left on bay rd or middlefield rd since there is no left turn onto spring st from hwy 84.

This park is in an industrial location in Redwood City behind the Hoover School at Spring Street and Woodside. The parking lot for the activities that take place here is inadequate. Tiny parking lot. Cars line the streets all around the park, school and nearby residences when it is busy. School is locked up and gated on weekends. The park has a community pools, small playground(soft flooring and bark chips), picnic area, baseball fields(with bleachers & lights) that double as soccer fields. There are bathrooms that have TP and soap but are dirty, so bring some hand sanitizer. Both types of the fields themselves are nice. Turf instead of grass. They are well kept and gated when not in use. Definitely a place for some good sporting events in Redwood City but come early to park.
