I live in Palo Alto and have been looking all over the place for a good hair salon for my 2 daughters aged 9 and 13. They are KIDS and I don’t want to pay adult prices ($ 50+++). They need neat cuts by someone who isn’t too rough when combing their hair. And I want a place that is tidy, neat and clean. J Salon is new (open 3 months) and spotless. The place is modern and minimalist in design. The stylist was gentle and snipped carefully and patiently. The cuts are beautiful. And the wonderful part is that they were only $ 20 each! Well worth the 15 min. drive! Just walk-​in and check it out.
