Lindy In The Square

This is a nice alternative to go outdoor swing dancing on a Sunday instead of going to Lindy In The Park in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco.
Dancing starts at noon until 2:30 and free lessons start at 1:00 pm for 30 minutes. They taught the beginning swing and Charleston steps. Good thing because I needed a refresher since I took a mini break from dancing and it was nice to learn the Charleston steps formally for the first time. I had a great time dancing again and the weather was great.
The crowd is smaller compared to Lindy In The Park, but today (⁵⁄₃₁) was the first one for the summer. I expect it to grow. Also make sure to bring sunscreen or sit in the shade under the umbrellas. I’m paying for it with a sunburn at the back of my neck.
