Great dry cleaner — glad to have this place right down the road from me. Might be a little on the expensive side, but worth the quick turnaround and friendly staff.

The owner here is extremely nice and friendly. She delivered on the service promised in a quick manner. The rates are also reasonable!

The dry cleaner has done good work for years until I asked her to press a very expensive white silk blouse. I returned it to her because it had grease spots the size of quarters and was poorly pressed. She denied everything and suggested that I had not noticed the spots when I gave it to her for pressing. Since I’d have had to fry chicken and done twirls to get those spots on the front and back of that blouse…(I don’t fry my chicken), I politely told her that if those spots didn’t come out with bleach, neither I nor my family would return to her shop. She had the nerve to ask me why.
The spots are still on the blouse after 4 days of soaking in bleach.

I’m so spoiled by how close this dry cleaner is to my house. But aside from that, both the man and woman (I’m assuming husband and wife?) have always been so polite and wonderful to me, and my items have always been cleaned to my expectations. My husband wears uniforms for work so I’m in there quite often, and on the few occasions I have been in a bind time-​wise they always make sure to have the items ready when I need them. We will be trying their alterations services for the first time here soon, I will update my review after that experience.

I really really wanted this to my new dry cleaners :-(But unfortunately I won’t be going back. The man I dropped off the clothing with was friendly and kind but it was a very different story speaking with the woman who worked there — his wife I am assuming?
When I picked up the clothing there were still spots on one of the pieces — a fancy dress. When I asked her if she could get the spots out she said not without wet cleaning it. Then when I asked her about the process she said just to take the dress– she didn’t want to explain instead she just said «you will take it». I guess that was the end of our short discussion :-(So I left a little sad and upset and decided not to ever go back.
I was spooled my my last dry cleaner in San Jose and I will be going back to them even though it is out of the way.
And to top it off the dress wasn’t even pressed :-(It is wrinkled anyways…

Brought in an expensive dress shirt to sew up a seam that was starting to come loose. They had stitched it up totally crooked, so now the shirt is pretty much ruined.

Three words can sum up Marsh Manor Cleaners:
Affordable, courteous, excellent.
I live about 2 minutes away from Marsh Manor Cleaners and found the spot two days after moving into my new home. I’m a thrifter and frequently find precious vintage items that need to be dry cleaned.
I left two skirts and a designer vintage dress in the care of Marsh Cleaners and they were returned in pristine condition.
The lady that runs the front counter greets all customers with a happy smile and a hello and when I went to pick up my clothes there were four people ahead of me. A gentleman seemed anxious to have a pair of pants in about 48 hours and the owner promised him that she would have them ready. She seemed to try her best to accomodate her customers and that’s nice to know.
I’m a fan of this place and will continue to do business with Marsh Manor Cleaners.

This place is horrible. 2 times in a row already I pick up my pants after having them drycleaned and they stink like sweat. It’s like all they did was iron them with steam or something… also, had them tailor my pants and they tailored them 1 inch shorter than what I asked. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Messed up my ties and shirt.

She may mix up your name (she eventually finds your order). You may hear her yelling at her husband in the back — but she readily admits «she has an anger problem.» She may ask if you are having twins (when you are not) right before you deliver. But– this place rocks.

This place is by far the best place to get your alterations. I had a button-​up shirt that got shredded near the top buttons. I love this shirt and couldn’t bear parting with it and with hope I took it here.
It was amazing what the owner was able to do. The shirt was literally shredded about half inch wide and two inches tall, but she worked her magic and now you can barely notice it now.
I took the rest of my dry cleaning here and you can definitely tell the care they put into cleaning each article of clothing. The prices might be tad more expensive than some other places, but it’s worth every single penny.

Nice clean place convenient lost of parking and good work I’m giving it 4 stars because its a little on the high price but was worth the price they did a nice job for me at the last minute.

This place does a good job cleaning, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. I dropped off a wool coat, a sweater and a dress for cleaning. When I came to pick them up a few days later, the woman found the coat and the sweater quickly enough but spent quite a while looking for the dress. When she finally listened to me about what the dress looked like (after I had told her several times), she remembered which dress it was and told me it was more complicated to clean than the other pieces and wouldn’t be ready for another two days. Since I had a flight the next day this didn’t help me at all, especially since I had wanted to bring that dress with me. Maybe it was bad timing on my part, but she did say she should have told me when I dropped it off that it would take longer to clean. Since I won’t be coming here again, I won’t see if she remembers to be more helpful and honest next time.

So this place is pretty bad. My mom spends ridiculous amounts of money at this place, I mean even her freakin’ t-​shirts are dry-​clean-​only. When i started going there, I identified myself as her daughter. It was going ok, until I had some alterations done — NIGHTMARE! I bought a dress for wedding that needed to be taken in at the waist. She f’ed it up big time. I couldn’t wear it to the wedding or return it. After that whole debacle, I decided I would simply no take alterations there anymore. Well, sometime later, she lost a half of one of my dry-​cleaning batches. I was gracious about it, I was like «oh, maybe I thought I dropped those items off but, I’m mistaken. I’ll check at home.» I came back later to check again and saw my stuff go round on the rack as she was retrieving stuff for another customer. She then insisted they were not mine. I showed her my receipt and, after much arguing, she finally gave me my dry-​cleaning. She them charged me for all the cleaning with no apology.
I know every one says the lady at the counter (the owner) is so nice. All I am saying is.. .she is until.. . she isn’t.

Sometimes I volunteer in Redwood City, so I drop my dry cleaning and tailoring off at Marsh Manor Cleaners, instead of their sister cleaners, Palo Alto Cleaners. They do dry cleaning, and they do a GREAT job. They do tailoring, and they do a FABULOUS job. I get my jeans hemmed here ALWAYS, and if I’m not getting them hemmed here, I’m getting them hemmed at their sister cleaners: Palo Alto Cleaners (same awesome ownership and service). Susan is AMAZING and is the most fantastic tailor, she’s always smiling and gracious. They’ve switched to a greener method of dry-​cleaning which makes even happier with their dry cleaning. Might be moving in a bit, and there are always those places you’d like to put in your pocket and take with you… your fave restaurant, your fave hair stylist, your fave manicurist… and
Marsh Manor Cleaners… my fave cleaners :)

After 3+ years of boycotting this business due to one very unpleasant experience, I had a few shirts to launder and dropped them off at Marsh Manor Cleaners.
When I walked in, the owner immediately recognized me! She even remembered that I have not been back for over 3 years. Amazing memory.
It’s been a few months now and I have to admit, the owner /​business is very good. I hope they keep it up!

Great service. The own lady is super friendly and she remembers my order each time I come in. I don’t even have to say my name or give my slip. She also gave me a laundry to use after I came in with a hamper one day.

I took my pants here to get them altered during my break at work. The woman there was very nice, and she had my pants done in one day, which is much faster than any other place I’ve used (usually they take about 4 – 5 days). The alteration cost $ 12.50 for hemming the length on the pants. She told me if I bring in more than 10 items for dry cleaning, she will take 10% off the bill. I will be bringing more business here soon!

Owned and operated by the parents of my college roommate. They always do a great job on my clothes, and they’re friendly to boot. Everything I need in a dry cleaner.

The only place to get cleaned and altered! …If you’re a pair of pants that is.
Marsh Manor is a great family owned and operated dry cleaning and alterations place. Chun does the alterations herself and does a fantastic job! I trust her with all my suit & pants alterations. (So far, I haven’t needed anything else altered.) As far as cleaning, the clothes come back truly cleaned. (Shocking that I felt the need to include that factoid.) Their prices are very reasonable, and you’ll always get friendly service.
