This place is awesome! The space is so quaint and beautiful. The food is super fresh and includes many local ingredients. I’m really surprised with how good the quality is, especially the fish and desserts.

Much better than the normal cafeteria food you’ve been accustomed to from school or other businesses. As others have said, many of the items at this café are natural, organic, or locally grown and served at unbelievable prices. High quality meats such as Marin Farms Steak, Stone Valley Pork, sustainable fish, etc. are served grilled-to-order with premium sides at under $ 10. There are plenty of crêpe(sweet and savory), pizza, and pasta options for people looking for something lighter. But the best part is the amazing bakery with gourmet cookies, brownies, cakes, and other items all at very reasonable prices. If you work at Oracle, you should definitely make a visit here to enjoy a fantastic lunch at a fantastic price.

Open to the public, but they charge you 20% more if you are not employees of Oracle. Then a little bit pricey for lunch. Excellent dessert

LOcally sourced fresh meats and veggies add to this experience. I don’t work at Oracle but guests are welcome with open arms from 7am-5pm. We went for lunch and had a great meal. They have about 10 daily specials from panini’s to crepes, pasta and fresh fish. My halibut came with 2 sides and cost about $ 11. Give it a try. Plentiful seating and very clean!

This place is simply AWESOME! I gained 10 pounds after discovering this place. Their bakery is to die for! Seriously, don’t overdo it. My personal fave: black sesame green tea mousse cake, banana walnut bread, chocolate chip cookie(OMG), and lavender chocolate truffle. The grill is awesome too.

From the amazing bakery items, to making your own crêpe or Mediterranean salads to fire oven pizza, or choosing fresh fish or chicken for the grill, Oracle Café 300 is hard to beat. I believe Bön Appetit is the company that prepares all the food. The food is of great quality — often organic and locally sourced ingredients. The staff is friendly and prices are subsidized so you can always get a good deal for lunch. The bakery is 5 stars worth just on its own. Not only do they have cookies, pastries, tarts, but they make their own bread, challah on Friday, special designed cakes(I hear you can even order a wedding cake!), they also make chocolates on occassion. I tried their crème brûlée tart and it knocked my socks off, not literally, but, «Wow! It was really good.» The cream brulee was carmalized but not too sweet, but what made it stand out was the crust that was buttery and complimented the topping well. On most Tuesdays, there is a Farmer Market’s stand that brings its own loot of fresh veggies to choose from. I’ve never had a meal here that I didn’t like. Keep up the good job!

Lovely, lovely café and a wonderful selection of foods. Very fresh and beautiful! Bravo to the cooks! BTW, if the supervisor of the staff would like to address his workers, please be more professional and not belittle the employees(cooks, bakers, etc.) in front of customers. I’ve never heard of someone belittling employees so horribly by yelling. «YOUAREALLSLACKINGOFF! CUTTHISSHITOUT! WEARELATINOSANDPEOPLEAREWATCHINGUS!» Very unprofessional and uncalled for. This is no way to motivate employees. I’m sure that no one likes to be put down in front of customers. How humiliating. I am still giving it 5 stars. I love the food, pretty atmosphere and presentation. Get rid of the little fat man who yells and turns purple. Perhaps a class on learning how to motivate employees will do?

ORACLE300BAKERY has the best desserts out of all the cafeterias here! Not even sure if the other cafeterias has such an extensive selection of sweets! Come here for crepes, cookies, pastries, cakes, and coffee! Perfect if you want to take a break and walk around the lake and end up here(which is what I end up doing when I want to take a walk). Most of their desserts are superb and pretty cheap because it is subsidized. but I want to talk about the chocolate chip cookie! I’m sure most other people talked about it here, but it’s soooo friggin good. the choclate chips aren’t the tiny little ones, they’re HUGE and kinda soft and melty. It’s perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside! It’s the perfect cookie. I’ve eaten at least like 15 of those since I’ve started coming here 4 months ago. It’s also great because you do not need to work at Oracle to come in and try the sweets at the 300 bakery! Parking might be a hassle but there’s plenty of parking in the lots. Ya’ll just gotta walk and burn the calories so you can get the cookies and not feel bad.

Problem: It’s 3pm, your sugar levels dipping, and you are trying hard to keep your head from slamming down on the keyboard. Solution: Brisk walk to 300 followed by an espresso shot and a chocolate chip cookie. Life is now good!

I love this place. So many inexpensive options with great quality ingredients. One of my favorites is the caramelized onion, Gorgonzola and walnut crêpe for less than $ 6. Also you can get a sampling of 5 different types of vegetable sides with a slice of focaccia if you want to go healthy. There is also yummy pasta and pizza. The chocolate chip cookies are delicious too. Great lunch spot.

Amazing choose your own topping pastas. For $ 8 I got to choose any 3 of 10 toppings(roasted sundried tomatoes, mushrooms, heirloom tomatoes) and what type of sauce(fettucinne) and base(Alfredo) while the chef put it together and cooked it up. It was filling and wonderful. Delicious, I’ll be back for more pasta. Also saw some unique items like whole shell clam flatbread pizza and salmon salads that looked great.

I can’t complain. It’s like walking into a whole foods market. I know the staff who work there, they’re very nice, and friendly. The interior is amazing, great job guys.

I went there last Monday afternoon around 2:30 pm to taste the desserts at the bakery as I was nearby for my doctor’s appointment. I used to work at Oracle so know my way around there. The cafes are open to the public and you can park at the nearby garages if you can find a spot. I parked at the 400 garage as it is closer to building 300. I saw a lot more pastries now than a few years ago, so tried a few«new items». To my dismay, other than the black forest cake I was disappointed. Kouign Amann: Very dry and lack the buttery flaky layers that I expected. Maybe after I tasted one from B. Patisserie my bar is raised so high everything else is just a blah? Almond cookie: It is a big thick cookie almost the same size of the Russian teacake from Whole Foods San Mateo, which is my favorite treat from there.
This gave me an «illusion» that this cookie is going to taste as good and buttery as that one from WF. Unfortunately it was a miss again as it was dry and almost a little stale. Almond cake with chocolate ganache: I was not sure what this was as it looked like a donut only without the hole in the center. The lady helping me there told me it’s an almond cake. When I bit into it it has the bread like texture and was dry and also lack in flavor. The inside filling was some sort of chocolate custard and was pretty good though. Black forest cake with cacao nib tuile: The chocolate cake was very moist and tender and just sweet enough but not overly sweet. It went perfectly with the also slightly sweet whipped cream layer inside and the chocolate ganache was soft and decadent. This was a winner of this trip. The executive chef Ian Farrell, also the owner of the Farrell Confections, was there as there were a couple people inquiring about his custom made decorated fondant cakes. He showed us his cake book with photos and there are all kinds of beautiful designs and the lead time is usually about 3 days to place your order. He is also a chocolatier and makes beautiful and yummy chocolates. Given I had eaten many different cakes(most chocolate) and cookies from here, if I rate on his cakes/chocolates alone I would have given a higher rating. Or perhaps this was just an off day for the pastries here… I don’t know but I would definitely come back again to try other items.

Taste-wise, 3 stars. Coupled with their 5-star value, it’s averaging at 4 stars. Most meals here are less than $ 10. We’re talking about sub-$ 10 for half a roasted chicken, or a steak with 2 sides. Or sub-$ 10 for some organic salad or fancy ravioli. It’s a pretty good deal. However, I did find my $ 8 steak a bit chewy and tendony. It’s certainly not a great steak. At that value though… meh, it’s decent. I did like the sides. It’s a great place to grab some cheap lunch while staring at their gigantic fountain.

Larry’s best restaurant IMO. Unbeatable omelets at superb value for brekkie, ace coffee and the pastries — well some of the best in the Valley. Of course, the pastry maestro there — Ian — is Irish, so can’t go wrong there, right? LOL. Latest opening of all the Oracle campus restaurants, a great place for a late afternoon coffee and muffin with coworkers. And for special occassions, treat yourself to the over-the-top death by chocolate guilt inducing creations for Halloween, Valentines, or made to order…

ONETHINGABOUTCORPORATE… SPOILED!!! (4 stars) Back in the day when I use to work here, breakfast and lunch was just a happy mess. So many selections, every building had a café. One of my favorites was Café 300. I’d come here for the pastries for breakfast and the lunches. Always a variety. — Food, yummy — Prices, affordable — Service, great — Ambiance, clean First corporate america job sure gave me a lasting impression. Good and bad way. Just saying. Until the next review…

Based on their pastries. I have a thing for chocolate croissants. And I found on Unilocal that Oracle has good chocolate croissants. It is kind of a challenge to actually get them. They only serve them at breakfast I found this out the hard way. Breakfast opens 7am-10am. They sell out fast too at $ 2.25 each. Parking is also another factor if you don’t work at Oracle like myself. I just live nearby. Heh heh. One day I came by during lunch hour and had a macaron. They charge $ 1 each and serve only one flavor at a time. The day I went they had lemon. Yuck! But I felt the texture was good. Just wished that had more than one flavor to choose from. Conclusion: I’m going to just have to wake up early and get my fix, it is cheaper than other local pastry shops.

Breakfast here is fast and cheap. Their pastry counter always has the standard plain croissant and chocolate filled croissant, both of which are nice and flakey. Sometimes they even have ham and cheese croissant, which I’ve never eaten but only b/c I don’t eat ham. Occasionally they’ll have a quiche. They also have gluten free Brazilian cheese puffs which are really good. So good, in fact, that there are never any at lunch time! They have muffins. They used to be really good basic muffins. You know the standard comforting muffins you look forward to in the morning when you need things easy. Recently though, they’ve changed. Now they’re complex — and not in a good way. Now their flavors are things like blueberry with almond strudel topping, bran with some kind of weird topping, and chocolate raspberry. I had one friend talk about getting the choc raspberry for months and was very disappointed when she finally did. Very rarely they have a delicious lemon poppy seed with no toppings. I like their regular coffee, but not a huge fan of their lattes. A lot of people I know get their espressos regularly. The also have a breakfast omelet & crêpe bar, oatmeal and Greek yogurt and honey or fruit and granola. The fruit is fresh unlike the kind you get at Starbucks(gross!). In fact, their fruit is locally sourced, so you won’t find blueberries or strawberries out of season. I frequently get scrambled eggs here. The prices are rock bottom! I think last time I paid less than $ 3. Their bagels are nothing to write home about, but they do have a nice selection of whole fresh fruit — you just have to look over by the oatmeal.
