I was referred here to see if I needed a root canal, but from the minute I walked in, they had their hands in my pockets. There was no mention of why I might need one, very little testing and inadequate explanation. There was no discussion of it being my choice to get one or not. They wanted $ 85 after insurance, for 5 minutes with Dr. Chang. They even tried to get pay a down payment for the procedure before I walked out the door.
I went to a different endodontist for a second opinion, and she said it was only ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ whether I would need one or not, and explained all options very clearly and professionally, and told me the pros and cons so I could decide for myself.
Avoid this place at all costs, they are 100% about money.

Like many people, I am very fearful of dental procedures. I chipped a tooth and unfortunately the damage to the tooth was so close to the enamel barrier t the nerve that cleaning it all out and repairing he tooth would get perilously close to that root so a root canal was necessary. I came in for a consult and was very pleased with Dr. Chang’s patient care and sharing of information.
I felt comfortable and scheduled the appointment for my root canal. This was my first one so I was very nervous, but Dr. Chang and her staff went out of their way to calm my fears. As with most dental procedures, the worst part was the anesthetic. The procedure itself took around 20 minutes, and I was done. I was expecting a full hour but Dr. Chang got through it very quickly. I was also encouraged to bring music and was able to tune out a bit during the process which also helped time pass faster.
I was in and out of the office in under an hour, and was delighted when Dr. Chang called me that eveninig at home to check on me after my procedure and to make sure I was ok. 2 days later I am in only the mildest of pain, and I’m so grateful to Dr. Chang and her staff for making this necessary process as painless as possible.

Dr. Chang and her assistant Eliza are AMAZING! Since childhood I have always been afraid of going to the dentist’s office. Dr. Chang and Eliza work incredibly well together and they love their work. They are very adept at making you feel at ease even when you have a root canal or complicated dental operation. I am incredibly grateful that I was referred to them by my dentist and that I can honestly say that I am no longer afraid of dental procedures. They also genuinely care about their patients and are incredibly fun to talk to. I would highly recommend this fabulous duo to anyone looking to have a root canal or other dental procedure. :-)

Outstanding work! I was referred to dr. Chang’s office for the first time a few years ago! I was in severe pain! My general dentist highly recommended her.
What a great experience ! From the moment I walked in I felt at ease ! Dr. Chang and her staff are excellent ! Extremely friendly and efficient ! Since my first visit I have had another root canal a few weeks ago! And once again, I could not be more please with the excellent work and expertise dr. Chang has. She alsos use the most advanced technologies such as a 3D cone beam x-​ray, where she showed me exactly where and how big the infection my tooth had.
Great job. I definatly recommend her and her office.

Be sure to get a quote in writing before you go in for your procedure. I was told the charges and paid my deductible immediately after she completed the procedure. Not long afterwards, I was sent a bill for an additional $ 130.60. That is not cool. She charges the most possible for a routine root canal. Most expensive doesn’t mean the best service. Shop around before you go here.
Also, while she might be personable, she likes to surprise you with unbearable pain. Then she and her assistant don’t tell you what they’re about to do next. Cause more excruciating pain? Let us know before you stick your tools in ours mouths. Rotten service. She will never see my mouth again.

Dr. Chang us theeee best out there! She is a life saver. I had unbearable pain on my upper right tooth and Dr. Chang’s office was able to schedule a same day visit. They close at 6 pm but was able to accommodate my root canal at 5:15pm. Bravo Dr. Chang!!! Thank you for helping me and providing me a priceless gift, quality of care. I recommend her to everyone. She knows her stuff.

I’m a big baby when it comes to anything dentistry. I’d rather walk over broken glass with bare feet than have any kind of dental procedure done. One of my teeth though decided to let me know that broken glass would be less painful than whatever was going on in my mouth. My dentist referred me to Dr. Chang. Got in Dr. Chang’s chair with a screamingly painful tooth– left an hour later with the problem solved. She was gentle, professional and sympathetic to my fear of what they would be putting my mouth through. Her assistant was just as amazing as Dr. Chang– together they are quite the professional team — and so good at putting a very nervous, dental phobic patient at ease. They offered up music to listen to so I didn’t have to listen to the drilling and whatever else they were doing — none of which I want to know about. Highly recommended if you find yourself in need of an endodontist.

I had to get an emergency root canal and was scared to death since I have never had one. The staff was very nice and explained everything that was going on and made me feel very relaxed and calm. I am a huge baby when it comes to anything dental related however I must say this was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.

This is the most amazing place to have a root canal done! Dr. Chang is gentle, very professional and efficient, she was very personal with me, listened and answered all of my concerns!
I came here to fix a poor job done by another dentist (Dr. Meola from Waltham, MA). I was very stressed on my first visit, having in mind my previous experience, but Dr. Chang told me she will take care of me. What more do you want to hear from your dentist?
There has not been a moment where my expressed concern hasn’t met the right response, as opposed to my previous dentist, to whom I was another business case.
The staff here is as amazing. Dr. Chang’s assistant Eliza always has a smile on her face, she is super friendly and upbeat — put me at ease right away.
And the front desk person Monica (whom I cannot thank enough) took so much time to answer ALL of my questions, I mean ALL, and worked with me on my payment issues. She is a very gentle person, always smiling too.
I am so grateful to all of them! After my first visit every time I had to go back, I felt I was visiting a friend. Oh, they also give you noise canceling Bose headphones to tune out and forget you are in the dentist’s office.

If I could give Ten star to this place I would@! They absolutely have amazing staff. Probably, one of the best I been to. My experience with DR PeiPei Chang was wonderful. She saved my front tooth from being pull by my previous dentist. Again, I can;t thank them enough since my wedding is in a couple month. Beside who wanted to be toothless on my their wedding day.

Amazing service and amazing staff. They were super friendly and made my visits less stressful. Not one like the dentist and they made it seemed super easy. The staff and Dr. Chang were very personable. They also sent me a check back after they billed my insurance to ensure accurate billing.
In all, I would go to them again even though it is super far from where I live!

AHHMAZING. And that’s an understatement! Dr. Chang and her awesome assistant, Eliza did such an incredible job that half way through the procedure I thought to myself: «this could pass for a relaxing facial massage».
This being my first ever Root Canal, I was naturally freaking out a little bit on the inside — mainly because of all the horror and painful stories I’ve heard related to root canals.
Thankfully that all went away. Completely. After filling out some easy paperwork (which their schedule coordinator, Monica was super helpful with especially with all the insurance and costs up front) they provided me with some sweet noise canceling Bose Headphones so that I could hear my own personal tunes on my iPhone during the procedure. Nice touch ladies ;) very nice.
Once it was all done, I was provided with an update and details about how everything worked out during the procedure, which was a great way to wrap things up.
Seriously, if you ever need to see an Endodontist — do yourself a favor and book an appointment. An experience that will leave you at the end of the day thinking «…oh yeah I had a Root Canal today. And it was AHHMAZING».

I was referred to Dr. Chang by Dr. Plant. I usually go somewhere else for root canals but it was an emergency. Dr. Chang’s office got me in same day. Root canals are no picnic no matter what but her and her assistant did everything possible to make me feel as comfortable as possible. I am a problem patient as my nerve endings are not in the usual places so it makes it difficult to fully get me numb. They did a great job. AND, she took an xray of another problem tooth and gave me valuable information — at no charge. Really appreciate her and her staff!

Went here for a root canal. Great experience overall.
Dr. Chang is very skilled, and my root canal went by without me barely feeling a thing (other than the pinch of the anesthesia injection). Dr. Chang always called me personally the day after my visits to see how I was doing — I have this to be rare for a doctor/​dentist and appreciated the follow up.
Her staff is extremely friendly and courteous as well, and go the extra mile to make you comfortable. Her dental assistant lent me her headphones during my procedure, so I was listening away to Pandora stations on my phone while they drilled away. Made the root canal go by a lot faster !

Unfortunately, I was having terrible tooth pain and my regular dentist said I needed to have a root canal done. Fortunately, I met Dr. Chang a few years ago when she performed some work on my teeth.
I called Dr Chang’s office and was promptly set up with an appointment. I arrived for my appointment and Dr. Chang confirmed that I needed a root canal to relieve the pain I was in. Dr. Chang reworked her schedule and fit me in an hour later. I was given a quote of the charges before the work was done so there were no surprises.
As far as the root canal: Dr. Chang and her assistant were professional and took the time to explain things at each point in the process. They both constantly asked if i was okay and if i wanted to take a break. Dr. Chang put me at ease with her demeanor and professionalism. Her office is also state of the art and SPOTLESS CLEAN! Dr. Chang even took the time to call me the next day to see how i was feeling.
Bottom line: If you need a root canal and are apprehensive about going to the dentist and want a competent professional for a fair price, look no more, Dr. Chang is the only one you should see. (by the way her assistant was Awesome as well, so was Monica at the front desk)
I don’t look forward to having any more root canals but if I need one I know where to go!

I recently got a dental surgery, and I am very pleased. Both DDS Chang and her assistant are very sweet and personable. The front desk lady was very nice and informative, too. I felt quite comfortable during the operation, and got great results after. I highly recommend her and her stuff for your needs.

Amazing office! My kid had to get her 1^st root canal and was nervous. Dr. Chang was informative and did a wonderful job. My kid had no pain during the procedure and was only a little uncomfortable once the numbness went away. The next day she was fine. Dr. Chang’s office staff is awesome too… especially Monica at the front desk. Monica was so helpful, friendly, informative, and went out of her way to get more info for us for the insurance company. I can’t say enough great things about this office. If you need an endodontist, ask your dentist to refer you here. You won’t regret it!

I’ve been to Dr. Chang twice and it couldn’t have gone better. Key points were
Extremely professional and up front about costs and options, but kept everything up beat.
Conscientious and excellent work on the actual exploration and root canal.
Fun interaction with Dr. Chang and all the staff (their banter while they work kept me at ease throughout).
Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I could not recommend Dr. Chang and her staff more highly.
Beautiful office, considerate, kind staff, and Dr. Chang herself was so skilled that my root canal was done in under 30 minutes, I kid you not. And Dr. Chang and her staff are so down-​to-​earth, caring and fun that they made what had been a totally horrible experience (4 days of excruciating pain on vicodin) seem like a bad dream.
The feel of the office is that everyone genuinely cares about each other *and* you, and that they genuinely love their job. It shows.
