Moving from Southern Cal to Silicon Valley can be a really traumatic experience. We had been looking for homes over and over again and could not find something that fit our budget and our needs for a high school of high quality and a short commute to Google.
We met Robert at an open house, which can be be a hit or miss if you select a realtor this way. However, there was something about Robert and his openness and candor that was not the same BS as other realtors. We had happened to meet his wife and son that same day and the amount of care concern and patience he had with his boy was telling.
It has been 3 months and countless trips to look at homes. Robert never tried to push us toward a home for the sake of closing the deal. To the contrary, he was always quick to point out issues with the home or area in an effort to be sure we had the full details on which to base our decision.
On the numbers he shared his analysis, thoughts on negotiation and clearly defined where he thought we should walk away.
After working really hard on this one home that we love for over 5 weeks, we will be signing docs today.
To people out there who understand that buying a home is one of the most difficult and challenging experiences you may have in life, use Robert Stuart… why?, because ethics, trust and loyalty are the most important attributes your realtor must have and he has them in spades!

I love you Robert Stuart!
My husband and I were looking for a home on the water in the Bay Area that was not going to set us back millions of dollars. One day sitting in the Fish Market and browsing the ads we came upon a listing for a house less than a mile away. We rushed over, but the Open House was over. We called Robert and he agreed to meet us at the house the next day. He met with us, showed us the house and explained that it was a County sale of the home that would be sold by blind bid to the person who most closely matched the County price without going over. He couldn’t tell us the price, but gave us so much terrific advice on how to calculate the amount that not only did we win the bid, but we were within dollars of the County mark. He was impressed that we listened to what he told us, but we were impressed that he was so knowledgeable about the process and walked us through the whole crazy three month mess almost seamlessly. We certainly couldn’t have done it without him.
So, if you’re looking for a good deal in the Bay Area, Robert is the man to turn to. He knows all the ins and outs. We now have our dream house and he even left us a rum cake to celebrate.
