Ordered the managers special Monterey Melt first bite I bit into something real hard I spit the food out to find some big pieces of black seems like plastic. Not a good feeling or site. My teeth hurt from the solid black stuff that was in my sandwich management is acting like I did something I am trying my best to not make a scene but they are pushing my buttons I want to know what I bite into it was in my mouth I am freaking upset and worried they already took the biggest piece of plastic or whatever it is and now want to take the other 2 pieces away they say to send out to see what it is but NO I am not giving it all to you do I do. It have evidence of your unsanitary food preps you serve

I ordered the chicken fettuccine alfredo and it had the consistency of a soup instead of a cream and my chicken was burnt. My mother had the skewered shrimp and she enjoyed that. The table was sticky, the utensils were sticky, the floor was filthy. The greens at the salad bar were wilted. The ice cream machine was filthy. Needless to say, I was not impressed. The service was good. Our server was very attentive. I have very fond memories of eating at Sizzlers when I was younger. This experience was not up to par with the quality that I have come to know from Sizzlers.

Well, I got a free malibu chicken coupon so I decided to to go to Sizzler again. I went about 1pm and there were a few people at the tables which increased as I ate. I walked in and stood on line for maybe two minutes and then handed in the coupon for the free malibu chicken. I got a tray and my drink and walked to a booth. A few minutes later the waitress came and asked if I wanted a roll or the garlic cheese bread. I chose the later. She came out with the bread and it was delicious. Crisp garlic cheese on top and a soft bread underneath. Within a short time she came with my chicken and baked potato with sides of their special mustardy sauce and butter and sour cream sides. The chicken was crisp on yhe outside and soft on the inside. The potato was bigger than last time I was here. The restaurant is clean with tables arranged nicely. Décor is nice. Employees were attentive and I didnt lack anything. Would go back again, hopefully with another coupon(I love coupons and saving money) and perhaps try something different.

We walked in a little after 8 pm, on a Sunday, and we were seated at a table by the hostess, 5 min after that, we called a server from the iPad that was placed on the table. 25 min later still no server… horrible sevice

This is my first Unilocal review and I would usually never do this but I seriously did not have a good experience with the cashier today. Her name is Britney I believe. By far the most rude and disrespectful cashier I have ever been helped by. I understand we all want to go home at around 7pm but do know that that is your job. Me and my boyfriend were nothing but kind to her and she didn’t look up to look at our faces. Was murmuring things to herself when she was getting our drinks. Gave us very dirty looks. And it wasn’t just to us it was to everyone. Besides that I love coming here the servers are great and lovely. Just hope she is a little more friendly next time.

This is the second time this Britney host has attitude with my family and I. She needs to get the f÷%* outta here if she doesnt like being here. The servers here are great and the food is decent. Sizzler needs to get rid of this immature little girl asap! She spoils the experience for everyone coming through the door.

We went down to Zizler restaurants. On veteran Blvd my wife and I we both had a dinner, my wife got shrimp skewers and and I had shrimp skewers with steak and the shrimp were really burned how come a server can bring a food to a customer as lousy as it was I can believe that there wasn’t any manager watching the line to make sure food are going out okay and presentanble. I took a picture of the shrimp to display on « Unilocal» so people can see it. How grossly it was my dinner, I think ever won’t come back to this place anymore.

I was really excited to find out that there was still a Sizzlers. It’s been almost a decade since I last ate at one since they basically closed all their locations. Decided to go there for lunch. After ordering my food the lady at the counter asked if I wanted a drink. I said sure and she stood there looking at me with a cup in her hand. After a few seconds she started waving the cup in the air like a crazy lady. She like«well what do you want!!?» When I walked in I saw the soda dispensing machine near the dining area and had though that this is like many other restaurant that is self serve. She could have said it nicely she was extremely rude. Now I’m pissed off again thinking about this. I’m done wasting my time. Will never go back again.

The shift manager,(middle-aged Asian woman) For a shift manager — she certainly doesn’t know customer service. I had just had out-patient surgery across the street at Kaiser, and I couldn’t eat until after the surgery. So, nothing really opens until 11 am. We get there exactly at 11 and she knows we’re there but she’s fiddling with the door — proper customer service would have been to swing the door open, «Come on in folks, we’re having a technical problem with the door» Instead she fiddled with it and making us stand there and wait… Even a, «I’m sorry… stupid door…» would have sufficed.(it was unlocked, we saw it swinging on it’s hinges, she was just either having issues with it to keep it open, or she didn’t want to let us in because the cashier hadn’t «counted out her register properly» — something we didn’t need to know, but she made very public — again unprofessional). An elderly woman came up, and kind of pushed her way in, and you could tell that she was a little oblivious to the fact that she was messing with the door, but she was very sweet. She says, «It’s past 11… are you open?» And she kind of pushed her way through the door. The shift manager rolled her eyes, looks at us like we’re in cahoots with her and goes, «Well, I guess we are now. If you want, you can come on in too, I guess.» I didn’t like how she said it — and that is NO way to treat YOUR customers. There was a past incident where my husband and I were there, and a cashier accidentally charged my husband for a weekday salad bar, and not a weekend salad bar… and she chewed the cashier out right in front of us. SERIOUSLY? I guess this is the level of professionalism I should expect from the Sizzler chain? I do have to say, the wait-staff and cashiers are always very courteous and nice to us. I have NEVER had a problem with the staff… the Shift manager needs lessons in etiquette and professionalism.

I continue to be impressed with this place. I’ve been going for months and I have not had a bad experience. The staff is very friendly and recognize us the minute we walk in the doors. We started coming here because of the variety of food our kids could eat. I didn’t expect much my first time here, but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. The food area is kept clean, the food is fresh, the staff is friendly, and tables are cleaned very quickly. This is a healthy restaurant that my entire family can agree on.

As far as a Sizzler restaurant, it gets 5 stars. This is on of the cleanse ones in the bay. The customers that come here are civilized. The staff is good too.

Glad sizzler is still here, I love the clam chowder and the cheese bread. Even the dinner rolls are good. Theres something sweet about them. I love the spaghetti in the buffet area. The make yourself taco area, ooooh and the ice cream. This place is also famous for music videos. Great place for large groups too.

I eat here for lunch once or twice a week, and actually drive here from Menlo Park to do it. I’m puzzled as to why Unilocalers give it a low rating. Is it premium steakhouse quality meat? No. But you fill up for 1⁄5 the price, and you have to factor that in to the equation. The staff is friendly and attentive, the all-you-can-eat salad bar is a bargain, and the lines and wait times are short. I wish they offered organic fruits/veggies in the salad bar and grass fed beef, but I’m pretty happy with what I can get there for about $ 13.
