I didn’t like this place. My waitress asked me if I wanted steamed or fried rice as-if it was included with the beef, but it was a heaping mound of fried rice for $ 7.75 extra; which made me feel swindled. The other issue I had was the portion sizing. Way too much. To some that might be great, but to me it’s just a waste. The other issue I had was cross contamination. I could taste fish in my beef, which makes me believe that they are cross contaminating in the kitchen. The last issue I had was the beef had a lot of fat. Every bite was like chewing bits of rubber. I imagine the pot stickers are probably good because of the sign, but other than that I disagree.

Really hard to find decent Chinese food in general I feel. I don’t love it when it’s super gloppy and full of God-knows-what but this place is pretty good!

Over the past 3 years, we have visited this place about 5 times. We keep trying this place hoping it was just an off-day or that we ordered the wrong food. But no, it’s consistently bland, and the hot and sour soup was neither hot nor sour, but undeniably sweet. Like they opened a jar of sweet and sour sauce and tossed it in. We really like to support local businesses, and really want to like this place, but so far, we sadly can’t say that it’s worth the convenience of being close to home. That being said, all our experiences have been for dinner. Perhaps their lunch service is better. The 2 stars are for how apologetic they were when we complained about the soup — they had us bring it back, and gave us another item of our choice for free.

My experience here was great. I was seated and served right away with great hospitality. The«best pot stickers in the city» sign is what really brought me in. It takes a lot of confidence and belief to live up to that title. The pot stickers were spectacular! They definitely lived up to there statement. Perfectly cooked and had a crisp factor to them. The meat was extremely tender/juicy with a hint of ginger which brought great flavor. Literally had juice running down my mouth when biting into those bad boys. I also ordered the salt and pepper spareribs with a side of steamed rice which I thought were ok. Not bad flavor but I thought there was too much batter on them which to me, overthrew the flavor of the meat and made it seem like there was less meat on the pork pieces. Portion was reasonable for 2 people. I would give this place another try for other dishes like the soups, noodles and etc. They all looked really good. This place would get 5 stars on the pot stickers alone.

I really HATE the feeling of being rushed to order, especially if the place only has one other customer & the person taking my family’s order is not even looking at us. Augh. Good thing we come here periodically enough to know it isn’t always this way. Still, good customer service starts with Paying Attention to your customer.

I’m not sure why ppl are complaining about this place. I had a great dinner there. We came in at 15 minutes to closing time and was warmly welcomed by a very friendly lady. I tried the orange chicken(Best I’ve ever had), hunan chicken, hot and sour soup(Amazing), egg rolls, potstickers(A+++) ! We ate like crazy for cheap and the service was great! I highly recommend it, not super fancy but the food is delicious, I have no complaints.

Very awkward coming in as they have lunch. They rudely sat us down and they went back to their table to eat. They should consider closing during their lunch. After they were done they still ignored us as they were busy on phones.

Gave it a few tries and the food just isnt very good and turns up pretty bland. Tried fried rice, the soups, the chow mein and a few of their dishes. Lemon chicken wasnt very good. General Tsou type of chicken wasnt good either. I think its time to try a different place…

The service and food have been going down here for appropriate two years now but today it was horrible!!! I walk in, one lady has her head on the table sleeping, the other one is on her cell phone. I ordered three items, they brought two out correctly. The rice was COLD and DRY… so dry I thought I was going to break my temporary filling!!! The beef bokchoy was dry but at least hot but only because they didn’t bring it out the first time. The owner came out so he was in the back when the wrong item was returned but he didn’t say anything… a simple ‘sorry’ would have been nice after all I’m a 20 + year customer!!! They never even refilled my water. I would give it ½ a star but that isn’t an option.

Real good food. Not a hi fi place, but if you want to grab quick lunch during work and you love chinese food, this is the place to go. Very much accessible from 101. They have daily specials you could check out. My fav — fried rice.

This place has great service and yummy for your tummy food!!! I give them four stars because although service was great there is always room for improvement plus I am really picky when it comes to customer service.

This place has mice. Customer service is the worst. The little short lady who does all the talking for the mute waitresses is rude and has no type of customer service skills. Its sad, because I really like their food. But, after seeing that mouse tonight. Never again!

Overall a decent chinese food place Located in a small mall right off the highway 101, this place is noticable by it’s big red neon sign that says«best postickers in town». And you know what, the potstickers are actually pretty good! Hot, big, and juicy. One plate of that was enough to be it’s own meal. In general, the place serves American-Chinese cuisine – lo mein, fried rice, and the like. The owner is very nice, frequently chatting with the customers to understand their life stories etc. She seems to know everyone eating there. The quality of food is also pretty good. Worth stopping by.

I love Yat Sing. I work fairly close to it and go here fairly often. I have been coming here for many years. I am finally writing this review because there is something that drives me crazy about the place– the staff. I absolutely LOVEIRENE! !!! She is the reason I keep coming back. I need to memorize her work schedule, because when she is not there– the place goes in the toilet. I went there today(Sunday) and it was her day off. What a mistake. The staff was sitting around eating while customers waited to be served. Last year Irene had to visit China to take care of her mother for several months. The place was a mess w/o her. I wish they would put in some cameras to see how the staff behave when Irene is not there. Sorry for my rant, but I do love the food. My only complaint is a lack of consistency. Also, I hate it when I ask for something«spicy» and they make it as bland as possible. C’mon!!! I have been coming here for over 20 years. You should know that I will not send it back for being too spicy. The only one that seems to understand this is Irene. In the winter months, if I feel rundown– I go here for the Wor Won Ton soup. It is the perfect antidote for a cold.

Good. Not amazing amazing, but still tasty. I had beef with chinese vege, potstickers, noodles, and Tofu. The noodles were like Okinawa sokisoba :)
