I’m rarely moved to write a review, but recently my wife and I were house hunting and quickly discovered that going it alone was overwhelming. After trying out several real estate agents, all of whom simply ignored our list of requirements and just threw every listing available at us, we met Mita. She was in constant communication with us leading up to our offer, during the purchasing process, and even now — months after we’ve closed on the house.
Buying a house was one of the more overwhelming and stressful things I’ve done. We were lucky to have Mita’s support through it all.

After a month of looking at houses on our own, and dealing with agents who either didn’t know anything about the neighborhood they were selling in or just bombarded us with listings, we found Mita Kapadia. She’s both personable and professional. She is very responsive, even after hours. When we did put in an offer and had some back and forth with the seller, Mita’s responsiveness and cooperativeness was one of the factors that ensured that we got the house!
Mita continues to support us even now, a month after we purchasing a house, with renting out the property. I don’t often write reviews or recommendations, but our experience with Mita was so positive I had to. I honestly can’t recommend her enough.

My husband and me took the decision to buy our first house in redwood shores and the proximity of Remax Real Estate location to our residence was what prompted us to go for their services. The office was located right in the centre of our desired location for a house and hence we thought that the depth of knowledge provided by these consultants should be good.
Mita was very warm to us in our first meeting and helped clarify some basic queries we had about buying a home. She gave us some valuable inputs regarding the demand supply scenario as well as our budget.
Mita also provided some very valuable guidance at the time that we had placed the bid for the house that we wanted. She also vigorously followed up with the agent of the seller and made sure all documents and information was available well in advance for the sellers (in case they wanted any).
We managed to purchase our first home and we got what we had in mind and what we wanted.
We would definitely recommend Mita to future clients!

My family had the pleasure of working with Mita for both selling and buying a home. We even added the complexity of doing both at roughly the same time. She was extremely helpful at helping us prioritize activities with each transaction.
With selling our home, she gave us wonderful feedback for last-​minute projects to do and ignore to prep our home for an open house. We only addressed the items she recommended, and ended up getting offers 50k to 80k over asking price.
With buying our home, she gave us the same level of attention (even though she was still dealing with the details of our sale. We were extremely impressed by fer responsiveness, which was crucial to getting an offer accepted (at asking price) in today’s crazy market. She eventually helped us negotiate 10k off the asking price!
We would not hesitate to refer Mita to friends and family. We were extremely impressed!

Mita helped us when we were looking to rent out our house. Even though the rental market was pretty landlord-​friendly at that time, we had personal constraints where we needed a signed lease within a short period of time, for a home which would be available several months later. She remained sensitive to our need and strategized for us accordingly.
She guided us well in picking a tenant and was thorough in conducting due diligence (credit checking, reference checking, financial qualification etc.) on the tenants application. She did this in a very timely manner, asking the right questions from the tenants a well as the references. Same has to be said about her processing processing the lease, disclosures and other paperwork. She was patient, responsive and pleasant to work with.
