I completely disagree with the previous review… First of all, the store is open everyday, but during the slow times of the year you have to walk 30 feet to the office and ring the bell. The woman who runs the store does not sit in the store when there is no business, so big whoop you have to wait a few minutes while she walks over and opens the store for you. She is very nice and always pleasant to talk to. They DO actually come around almost every night after dark and spray black widows, and they also spend a lot of time maintaining tree and landscaping. We put up fly traps and have had no issues with bugs in the camper. As far as the roaches, there are a couple weeks of «roach season» but compared to the trailer park we were at before, it is NOTHING! This is a camp ground after all, I don’t think they are responsible for bugs while you’re camping… I think that kinda comes with the experience… We live here in our RV and have had nothing but excellent experiences since we have been here, my husband’s coworkers who live here all enjoy it as well. We ALL LOVE it! They commute 45 minutes to and from work everyday, that is how much we enjoy being out here. It is a quiet, peaceful, and beautiful place to spend your time. Lots of trees and shade everywhere, and great water pressure. The owners come and address any problems you have, they have beautiful roses along the entire drive down into the park, picnic tables, a shower house, a playground and a laundry area. They come pick up our trash, they let us put up a small fence for ours dogs, THEY ALLOW BIG DOGS! They sell necessities in the store and exchange propane tanks. The river is full in the summer for a couple months and an excellent place to swim & play for both humans and pets! When the river is empty there is a long riverbed where the dogs can run and play in the sand. Sure the lagoon area has some stagnant water when the river is full… It has no current… Not really the owners fault, and yea when you are around water, you get mosquitos, but that is literally maybe 2 months of the year! We LOVE IT HERE! Compared to the trailer park we were living in, this place is cheaper rent AND a little piece of heaven!
