On a road trip heading South on Hwy 101 and needed some food. So glad we chose this place! Wait staff was friendly and fast, and the food was great. They even surprised us with a special desert they had just made of a tortilla, fried, with sugar and cinnamon (think elephant ear) and topped with whipped cream and drizzled with strawberry juice.

Not very friendly didn’t try to help us and my dad is disabled and we asked for help food was cold right before closing

As we sat down we expected the usual chips and salsa which they delivered and took if farther with the fresh chips, salsa, and pico. Honestly, the best Mexican food I’ve ever had I wish I could come here every day.

Don’t let the humble façade fool you! Fresh and delicious, reasonable price, and fast.

Great Mexican food.
Small place that was previously some kind of fast food drive through.
I’ve eaten a lot of Mexican food over the years and this place is up near the top. Especially when you consider where it is located. If your driving the Oregon coast and are tired of sea food eat here.

Had not had any Mexican food since leaving Colorado five weeks ago and was craving it – although we’ve loved all the seafood here on the coast! Checked Unilocal and found this place with great reviews. We were not disappointed! Easy to find on Winchester and easy to park. «Fun» type «Mexican» décor, friendly service and good food! We loved the chips, salsa and cabbage coleslaw as a start and ordered margaritas, which were good! Had burritos and ordered a side of guacamole and more beans. The server brought us a little whipped cream on a sweet tortilla for dessert, which was a nice little surprise. We would return again.

Stumbled upon this place on a road trip down the Oregon Coast — and it was the best Mexican food we found across the state! Amazing margaritas and chile rellenos! Fresh salsa is also really tasty. Very highly recommended!

Great food and drinks. Portions are good sized and service was good. Looks like a popular place. One of the better places we ate at while in town.

Wow. Just… Wow. As much as I generally trust my beloved Unilocal,when it comes to out-​of-​the-​way towns and businesses with only a few reviews… well, lets just say that often things are all relative. This place would stand on its own anywhere.
The food. Es muy delicioso. My chile relleno was one of the best I’ve ever had. The chile verde? Damn fine version of it. My wife’s margarita? Whoa. Super legit. And inexpensive. And saucy. In fact, the whole deal was very reasonably priced, and all of our food was top notch. Service here is friendly and they were willing to accommodate odd requests for me (no rice, extra beans, no tortillas). For vegetarians, they don’t use lard in their beans or chicken stock in their rice. So you’re good to go. They added avocado to things on request. And did I mention the food is great?
I would go here again in a heartbeat. In fact, I wish it were in Portland, because frankly I’m never in Reedsport. Who is?

Excellent! Being from SoCal we know Mexican food and this was surprisingly good. Will be returning next time we’re in the area!

We will return as often as possible.
Very clean environment, the food we had was very good. We like our relleno to have some heat, and they did.
Can’t wait to try some of the dinner plates instead of a combo plate.

I love this place! I moved back to Oregon from New Mexico about three years ago and have been looking for a good Mexican place ever since. I was sooo happy when my family and I tried it the first time. The food is wonderful, the staff are super nice, and the portions are huge. There are even vegetarian options for those that don’t eat meat. The week day cook is better than the weekend cook, but the food is still good :-).

The best Mexican food in town. If you’re looking for authentic food, there is definitely something on the menu you’ll like.

We always stop in when we are in Reedsport. The place doesn’t look promising from the road, but you should give it a chance. The staff is really friendly and helpful, which can be in short supply in a beach town. Great hospitality.
This trip I ordered a strawberry margarita and my girlfriend had a classic margarita. Our server delivered them quickly and with a smile. My girlfriend said they remind her of the margaritas served at Macayo’s in Phoenix.
I really enjoyed the veggie fajitas. They arrived quickly, sizzling hot and my modifications were all correct. My girlfriend loved the beef chimi and chile rellano combination. She said the beef was really well marinated and everything was great.
