The Oregon Angler

We had a great experience fishing with Todd for Coho this year. By great experience, I mean it was an absolutely EPIC day! We caught over 40 cohos in a 7 hour span and that doesn’t count the hits that we lost before we got the fish to the boat. Todd has this river absolutely dialed in! The boat was stocked with a cooler full of sodas and water, he had snacks for the morning and a large sack lunch for us as well.
I do about three fall salmon trips a year but typically they are in the Tillamook streams but Todd has me hooked and I will definitely be making it down to the Umpqua next year for another trip.

I was looking for a fishing guide in the Florence Oregon area. Its a little hard to find people or recommendations on the web.
I found mention of Todd Hannah and The Oregon Angler on a site somewhere and I gave them a shot. Todd, was amazingly helpful at putting together the perfect trip for my wife and I. He was easy to get a hold of and walked us through everything as we weren’t from the area.
The trip was great. We were mid summer so the small mouth fishing on ultra light tackle was our best option. The action was non-​stop and the weather was amazing. We were on the water for a shorter trip at about 5 hours. We had so much fun the time flew by. We saw beautiful scenery and wildlife.
Defiantly a must do on any trip through this area.
