Wish I could have given better review. Spent hundreds of dollars on specialities only to have them packed loosely in styrofoam box that arrived broken. Borscht spilling all over my tile floor. I have a fractured spine, nobody was home to help me empty box, and cleaned up staining borscht! I hurt myself lifting everything, getting oversized box into garage, and cleaning borscht before it stained my floor. I immediately called and told Alex, his answer, «Send me pictures for shipping refund and cost of borscht». Did so immediately.(Check out my posted photos) Sent follow up email. Waited a week after Pesach to call back, allowing them time to take care if my $ 109.00 refund. «Resend, I did tell our UPS contact» I did… again! Nothing! As of May 25, 2016, no refund and my back should not have suffered due to them tossing frozen foods into box allowing them to shift around and break the box. Turducken was NOT worth the cost if they are NOT concerned with their customers, or pack our orders carefully, it costs plenty to ship!

I am so happy right now. We bought a turducken for the holiday and it was AMAZING! Excellent meat, tasty stuffing and a straightforward prep made for a lovely meal. I’ll be a repeat customer. Please note: it arrived stone cold frozen as sold, and defrosted as scheduled. Then roasted as expected and turned out beautiful. The resulting gravy was very good. I’m ordering again!

Thank you, thank you, to the chef and wonderful team at Aaron’s Gourmet, for delicious latkes! I helped organize a Chanukah event in our neighborhood and ordered 150 latkes, thinking that we wouldn’t have enough latkes for everyone(after we discovered that we will have a lot more families coming than we anticipated). When we opened the containers, I saw giant adult palm-size latkes – bigger than I’ve seen in any other establishments! And they were DELICIOUS! We were able to feed lots of people AND had some leftovers. The price was very reasonable, too!

I bought three organic chickens erev Rosh Hashonah priced at $ 75.00 The meat here is always top quality, so I was looking forward to serving them. When I took them out of the package the odor was overwhelmingly rancid. My chef friend told me they had to be discarded and I was left to scramble for kosher chicken. Thankfully Whole Foods had some in the case, so I re bought the chicken. Today, I went to Aaron’s to tell him what happened and he said«no refund or credit bc I did not bring back rotten chicken. I did not want it rotting in my fridge over chag . I am a regular customer, I will never patronize that store again. He was totally in the wrong here. He is a smooth talker and a crook. So buyer beware here…

The quality of the meat is superb and the owner is fantastic! We ordered a lamb shoulder and a turkey for Thanksgiving. Both meats were tender and the turkey breast was juicy. We are never disappointed with our purchases here.

Even if you don’t keep kosher, please try their meat once. Everything they have is sooooooo amazing and you’ll never go back to meat from other supermarkets nor grocery stores. Their beef jerky is so flavorful and goes super well w/beer! You can cook Beef bacon w/eggs n make yummy brunch! Their chicken is soooo juicy and beef is super delicious!!! A+++++++++ products!!!

Wow! We keep Kosher in our house. We have tried the meat at Aron’s supermarket and it was inedible. So incredibly salty there was no way to make it taste good. When my in-laws come to town, they bring is meat from Fisher Brothers in manhattan, which is delicious but too rich for our blood. We got an offering from living social for $ 100 of meat for $ 50. We went in and spoke with the butchers and owner. They were all incredibly helpful and knowledgable. We bought some beautiful rib steaks and skirt steak. We made the skirt steak the other night and it was AWESOME!!! Tender and flavorful. I couldn’t have been happier. Can’t wait to try the rib steak and go back to buy more. So glad to have found Aarons!

After very careful consideration I decided to give Aaron’s a go. I ordered the ground bison, chicken cutlets and the skirt steak… boy did they come out juicy on the grill. The meats were incredibly fresh and they were kind enough to season the cutlets for me with their teriyaki sauce. For all our kosher and halal friends… this place is a must visit for meats since they are one of the few butchers that serve meats that are both organic and kosher. Yes the meats are pricey but you are getting a superior quality of meat. Aaron’s even offers groupons occasionally which subsidize their meat prices so be on a lookout for those :)

This is my go to place for exotic meats. If you keep kosher or halal, you know how difficult it is to find a nice bison steak or venison stew meat. Aaron’s solved all that for me. The meat tastes fresh and delicious, even if it is on the pricey side. Seriously whatever weird animal craving you have, they probably have it at Aaron’s, reptiles and wild boar notwithstanding. Quails, Cornish Hens, Capon, Bison, Venison, turducken, etc. The service is also great! The man that works here is incredibly friendly and helpful, giving advice about the meat and even medical advice when he saw me walking with a cane due to a recent knee surgery. Most people wouldn’t take the time to inquire about what happened to you and if you’re okay, but he did and little things like that mean a lot. Sometimes people who aren’t Jewish are apprehensive about going into Kosher places, but this is one place where you will feel welcomed, Jew or not.

Organic Kosher Meat?! Hello! This place is AMAZING! Ordering is a breeze, you can do it online and theyll have it shipped to you or ready for pick up. Very responsive on the phone and email as well. I always order my holiday Turkey here, you can’t go wrong with either the Organic bird(5.99lbs) or their infamous Rubashkin bird(3.99lbs). it’s a great steal! PLUS if you are into brining your bird like me, you eliminate a step because it’s already done for you(it’s a Kosher thang)! Once I needed to order a bird to travel 4 hours in the car with and they packaged it so that it wouldn’t spoil on the ride and all! They also carry first cut angus beef here and a slew of organic grocery products as well. The staff is actually really nice and warm and very helpful, go check them out right… NOW!

A Jewish butcher is like everything the stereotypes will suggest. But the fact is that if you don’t have a reputation with him, he will cut you a piece of fat instead of the NY strip you asked for… I joke! I joke! But seriously folks. Fresh meats and all your other favorite kosher delicacies all in one place. They just move down here about a year ago(they were originally off of Cooper avenue, going by the same name). Prices are ofcourse Kosher prices(that means almost double what you pay at supermarkets — oy vey!!) If you are nice and look like you studied your cuts before you came, you will build up a nice relationship. Otherwise, you will be the guy he pushes the leftovers on – and I am stereotyping here about ALL independant butchers! Oh one more thing. This is the only place that I know of that sells natural wood coal for barbeques… none of that ‘briquette’ business in my grille!!!
