Over an fourteen year period, I have only found real honesty and true professionalism in the best dentist I’ve found anywhere. Take it from somebody with major restoration work, and believes the notion that gum disease is a precursor of Heart Disease and Cancer: Don’t let it go until it’s too late, like my parents did. With expert, precise work, a down-to-earth warm staff that are multi-lingual, you should look no further. An example: When something is minor, Dr. S.- will say ‘we’ll keep an eye on it.’ Root-scaling and planning permanently eliminated my gum disease. He has a terrific light touch while working. Dr. S.- fosters excellent habits with his patients. He did with me for sure. Just had a preventive visit in early 2011 and all’s fine. His seal of approval puts me in the ‘top 5% who conscientiously maintain best.’ As you can see, Dr. Schob is a real mensch. Accessibility is prime, the office is across from Sears Parking lot, and 2 blocks from the Rego Park Mall. Location is ground level, in the high-rise with the flagpole in front. Remember this: Materialism around the corner has its place, but highest quality dental care is a necessity, not a luxury. Think of it as an investment in yourself. Mid-2014 update from previous: The saga of Dr. Schob and staffs’ top-notch service and effectiveness continues. He just saved 5 teeth. I am introducing some friends to his practice. Lawrence Weinzimer
