I work in the plaza so
I feel I come here quite a bit. After my experience on 02/18/2016 I will never be coming here again. I ordered a turkey sandwich and a little after an hour I started to feel really nauseous. To my surprise the entire night my head was in a toilet. I got food poisoning here. Although it’s one of the cleaner subways I’ve been to I will not be going back. Did they leave the turkey or cheese out too long? I don’t know just really turned off from it.

I like subway but not this particular location. They rush your sandwich and they do not make it with love. They also tend to not give you a lot of the veggies. Sometimes I found myself asking if they put lettuce on my sandwich because they put very little. I never experienced this with their chain.
You’re better off going to the subway that is a few blocks away on Queens BLVD. They are very polite but it is much smaller spot. Sadly, this subway is huge which is why I kept going back.

I don’t know the name of the guy who made my chopped tuna salad but he was really nice and really patient (he wasn’t the Bengali guy who served my sister– btw apparently the sandwiched he made was less than satisfactory). I’ve been to several subways and usually they get really antsy and fidgety while I figure out what veggies I want, but this guy was like super attentive. He even gave me veggies from new containers before they refilled the old ones. I really appreciated that. The salad tastes fresh, the amount of veggies and tuna was sufficient instead of the usual BARELY two scoops.
