Atlantis Inn

We came off-​season and the price couldn’t be much better, especially since we had a dog and they didn’t make you upgrade to a more expensive room like other hotels in the area. We were only a block and a half from the beach and felt very safe here. The room was clean and comfortable. AND they had a microwave and microfridge… very helpful since we brought groceries of our own. Free wi-​fi as well. The rooms are built well… we couldn’t hear our neighbors at all. We hope they couldn’t here us either with a dog that barked when people walked by! I would recommend this hotel and will likely stay here again.

Got the king suite so wife and I wouldn’t have to go to bed at 730−8pm w kid. Suite is huge, hotel is always clean every time we stay. Property is well kept. Henlopen Oyster House which is an excellent restaurant is on the street behind the hotel.

As usual, the Atlantis Inn delivered a clean room in the heart of Rehoboth. We’ve stayed here for many, many years, and each year during our trip we look at other options. We always come back to the Atlantis Inn. No one else can match the combination of value and location offered here.
Thanks for another great stay. Our efficiency was clean, well maintained, and all of the appliances were in good working order.
The sole downside was the water pressure in the shower, which made rinsing off shampoo a bit of a chore.

Rehoboth beach has limited activities, beyond the beach, so when you’re in your hotel in the evening and the wifi doesn’t work, there isn’t much else to do but sleep.

Excellent location right off the beach. Since they allow pets off season, we stayed with our dog, and it was a doggie convention! Staff is extremely friendly to both the pets and the humans :-). Rooms very clean with excellent showers. Wi-​Fi was a little unpredictable, but not much more so than other places we have stayed.

SO LOUD!
Because there is no hallway and the rooms exit directly onto an outside walkway or the parking lot, it’s party city before everyone goes out. Its really a true motel. If you have a family and expect kds to be asleep before 10, avoid this hotel.
As far as accomodations, it was fine, but we’ll either stay away from the middle of town or find a hotel with interior vs. exterior room exits to hopefully avoid all of the excess noise. It’s also hard to relax when people are having loud conversations right outside of your door.

The best thing about Rehoboth is that most of the hotels are a short walk from the beach itself, as well as good walking distance to restaurants and other shopping destinations. This one was about a 5 minute walk, if that.
Exterior entrances, a tiny pool and sundeck up top and very clean. No breakfast, but they do serve coffee which is nice. It was very quiet, we were there 2 nights in summertime and spent about $ 200 a night after taxes. This is about what I’d expect for a beach area hotel in the center of it’s season.
I would stay here again if I came back.

Attitude of the staff rates the five stars! What friendly and accommodating people! The room was fine and so was the little pool. Not luxurious but clean. Wifi was spotty in our distant room. The beds were comfy. They honored my reservation requests. They gave us a very late checkout and let us leave the car in the lot all day.
I’m sick and tired of being treated like shit by service clerks. Atlantis people know how to act to let you enjoy your vacation.

Brand new room furnishings, very clean and quiet. Would definitely book here again. Highly recommend.

I stayed here the weekend after labor day. My reservations were put into the computer wrong when I first made them; which I didn’t know at the time. A couple days later I called back because I never got an email confirmation. So they told me they resent it (never double checking the spelling of my email.) The next day, still didn’t get it so I called and spoke to a Leslie. She seemed irritated and wind up hanging up on me… twice. When I called back she apologized and said she was dealing with a customer. She finally double checked the spelling of my email address and I finally got the confirmation. I called the next day to speak to the manager Penny. She took care of everything and upgraded my room free of charge (it was Efficiency room 500.) She made sure the room was cleaned before we got there.
The location of this hotel is great; right in the middle of the main street in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Also there is amble parking (I parked right outside of the room.)
When I finally got there, the staff was nice because the AC wasn’t working correctly and they came up to fix it, within like 10 minutes.
The downside was that the carpets were sort of gross. I usually leave my socks on in a hotel any how and this carpet left black stains on my socks. I was in the «pet friendly» rooms but that still shouldn’t matter.
The bathroom faucet was too close to the sink; hard to wash your hands without hitting them into the sink.
Even with a bar next door and a bar in the back it really wasn’t too noisy. My room was on the end of the building so you could hear drunk people up and down the steps but never too too late.
Shower was iffy. My first one was fine, the next day, it would go from super hot, to freezing out of no where.
They have free Wifi, but who doesn’t anymore? They have coffee in the lobby in the morning and they have a very small pool in the main building (with the ice machine.)
I think I’d go back just because the location was within walking distance of everything in downtown Rehoboth Beach.

Just read markey m’s review and there is really nothing else to say… the staff is really helpful, friendly and personable. They are per friendly in the off season so I got to take the mutt and that made me happy. The rooms are clean. They appear to have upgraded their linen and that is nice… it’s not the four seasons, but as markey pointed out, there are no luxury hotels here… the location is great and I have to think that this may be as good as it gets… I was pleased and will go back

Stayed three nigthts over labor day weekend. The room was clean and comfortable with a mini fridge and microwave. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The price for the holiday weekend was very reasonable! I highly recomend it I would stay again!

Mold mold mold smells like dirty feet! Overpriced motel 6! Great location! Moldy bathroom and it was just dirty! Great front desk staff

LUXURIOU$. No, just kidding, only a 2-​star hotel.
But here’s the thing — and I didn’t realize this until I got to Rehoboth — there is no Hilton, Westin, or even a Doubletree in this beach city. Like everyone else said — clean, great staff, a block away from everything you’d want to do in Rehoboth. So just make the reservation and take confidence in that you literally cannot buy a better hotel, simply because it does not exist in Rehoboth.

Really a rock solid 3-​Star beach hotel. This place is close to the beach and the shops/​restaurants that you’d have to walk to if you were right on the beach. It was clean with hassle-​free off street parking and a very nice staff. It’s not like staying at the Marriott in NYC, but if your looking for 2 clean beds, sink, microwave, fridge, bathroom, small table and chairs in the room w/​a TV… no frills (they did throw in the mini-​shampoo and conditioner — BONUS). Anyway, this is a great place to stay for a few days at the beach. Prices were reasonable for what you get.

Friendly staff and very clean!!! The hotel is also smoke-​free; I’m not generally bothered by smokers but I’m glad to not have to sleep on sheets that smell like stale cigarettes. There’s a fridge and microwave in every room and free coffee in the lobby every morning. The location is perfect– a short walk to the beach but removed enough that you won’t hear the crowds when you’re trying to sleep. The pool is tiny but there’s a shower up there and plenty of lounge chairs, as well as three tables with umbrellas.
Minor issues: I had the same problem as Chris M. with my shower. It fluctuated between burning hot and ice cold. I had to fiddle with it for 10 minutes before I could get a decent temperature. Also, they have those low-​flow showers (Seinfeld anyone?) that makes it tough on us long haired girls to wash all of the salt out properly. The ice and vending machines are only on the 1^st and 3^rd floors.
Great discounts when you book online. I will definitely be back!

Went here this summer for a mini-​getaway with my wife. Service was super-​friendly and the rooms were very clean. It’s right on the main drag so it’s extremely close to the local shopping. It’s about a 3 – 4 block walk to the beach which really isn’t too bad.
Only complaints… the «roof-​top pool» is a little smaller than it looks on the website. Also, the shower in our room went from steaming hot to ice cold constantly… even though we didn’t touch a thing. Barely usable. At checkout, they assured us it must have been a problem with our room and they would have it fixed.
Lastly, the wireless internet was out for most of the morning on one of the three days we spent there. I run an internet-​based business so that was very stressful. To their credit, they were already on top of it when I called down and had it fixed after lunchtime.
I’d say there’s a 70% chance I would stay here again and give it another shot.

Nice, clean hotel — relatively close to the beach (don’t be thrown off by their claim of 1 ½ blocks, they are MUCH further than average city blocks). Still, good location, and very nice employees.
This is a good hotel to book in Rohoboth Beach that is right off the strip. You literally walk out the front doors and are right amongst it all — shops, restaurants, endlessly tacky, overly priced souvenir shops. But you don’t have to worry about parking because you get a parking pass and plenty of parking to choose from if you stay at the Atlantis. And the beach is truly an easy walk 1 ½ blocks (or 3 if you’re used to typical city blocks) from the beach.
Word to the wise, they take AAA. If you don’t have AAA, and you plan on staying at the Atlantis more than 1 night, get it. It will pay for itself in one night and save you big bucks for the others.
We had to bail on our trip early, quite a bit after check out time (what we thought was minor turned out to be major medical emergency); although hoping for some mercy were still charged for our following night, but I expected as much and chose not to argue (some battles are not worth fighting when there are bigger ones in the midst). Still, worth it in the overall grand scheme of things and I will likely book another stay here again in the future.
