I would have given this outlet 3 stars to begin with for poor quality of items and choices, but the poor customer service dropped it right down to nothing. Another customer knocked one of the shoes size signs off the rack and left it in the middle of the aisle. Instead of leaving it there where someone could slip in it, I slid it with my foot over to the show rack. At which pint an employee behind the counter(20 – 30 feet away) yells to me, «you can put that back.» I said I didn’t knock it over and didn’t know where it even came from. She yelled back, «well it goes right on top and you can put it back.» I did it, despite my misgivings, and she yelled«thank you» in a very snide tone. I said«I don’t even work here» as I walked off as she yelled«thank you» again. My dad had come out in the aisle because he heard the yelling(not even knowing it was at me) and I told him I was leaving. When I got by the registers, she yelled«thank you» again to me, and I told her she was rude. She got all offended and said«oh I apologize if you thought I was rude. I SAID thank you.» Like I was wrong. I told her again she was rude and I was leaving. My dad walked over and she turns to him and said, «I wasn’t rude to your daughter!» At that point I was mad and made her call a manager. Who she justified herself too(as well as EVERY customer in line) that she wasn’t rude because she thought I had kicked the sign. The manager did come out and apologize, but I won’t be back. Even another customer came up and told the manager that the employee was rude to me — she thought initially she was talking to another employee and thought that was rude. Poor choices and poor customer service.

Just left the QVC outlet at Rehoboth Beach and I’m amazed at how poor the customer service was. In my 20 minutes in the store I encountered 4 employees, each more miserable than the next. Very unfriendly and most definitely not helpful!

Pros: excellently priced items in a tax-free state. Big clothing, handbag, bedding, and jewelry selections, although I didn’t not shop for those things. CON: every employee I talked to was rude, abrupt, and miserable. They were definitely NOT channeling the QVC customer service spirit, which is, arguably, one of its most important qualities.

I love shopping here. The items change every time we visit. I can usually find an amazing bargain on an outfit. Not everything is worth purchasing but the items are fun to look at. There are limited dressing rooms. The purses aren’t worth getting. They don’t seem like an actual savings.

Why the hell did I come here? If you’re looking for creepy doll baby figurines and sad stacks of Saran wrapped George Foreman grills then look no further. I was not.

QVC only has 5 outlet stores in the US, and this one is near the beach in a state with no sales tax! Score! And no shipping fees!(FYI: QVC is a home shopping network.) How could I not buy something? As an avid QVC shopper(mainly online, but do sometimes watch their channel for on-air shows), any trip to Rehoboth Beach includes checking out this outlet store. Here I can scour the racks for those coveted on-air/online items that I’ve contemplated buying, but for whatever reason did not. No, it’s not a fancy mall store atmosphere by any means. But I can actually pick up and check the merchandise up close and personal… you can’t do that online or by watching their live shows. Most items already had an «outlet» price, plus an additional percentage off(ranging from 60 to 35 percent for the most part). Pay close attention to the purple signs signifying a «Manager’s Special.» These appear to change quickly(some daily, weekly, and monthly), offering discounts of over 75 percent off. And QVC’s regular 30-day money back guarantee applies to outlet items. Their largest available selections probably were: clothes(including Isaac Mizrahi and Dennis Basso), jewelry(including Honora pearls), purses(Dooney & Bourke, among others), kitchen ware, and holiday decorations. But there are also electronics(even an iPad), linens, shoes, house wares, rugs, toys, and beauty/make-up items.(If you know QVC, they sell a wide range of items.) I started some early Christmas shopping for family and friends with the purchase of a Christmas Carousel Music box(at over half-off the outlet price) and a Gretta purse – a brand they no longer seem to carry on-air – with a cool center zipper detail design that can convert from a shoulder bag to a fold-down clutch(I may end up keeping this as a gift to me, we’ll see). Most purses were 50 to 60 percent off the outlet price. I snagged a G.I.L.I. collection item(one of their fairly newer own clothing lines) that I’d had my eye on when it aired almost a year ago – the tie front notch collar jacket/blazer –for about 70 percent off the regular QVC on-air price. Most clothing was 60% off the outlet price. I got a Dennis Basso dressy rain coat with shirred sleeves at 35% off the outlet price. Luckily, they had a pair of the Clarks Privo Vapor Mist Leather Adj. Fisherman Sport Sandals in my size for just over $ 25(retails for about $ 80). The QVC outlet store is not part of the«Tanger» outlet malls, which have a few locations along Route 1/Coastal Highway. They are in a shopping plaza on their own between the K-mart and a Giant grocery store, still along Route 1. It is just a couple hundred years from one of the Tanger outlet malls. There is only one dressing room in the clothing area, along with one separate mirror, which makes it challenging to try on some clothing items. Unfortunately, there are no bathrooms in their outlet store, so don’t drink a lot of liquids before shopping here. But the staff members I interacted with were very friendly and helpful.
