Can’t go wrong. I’ve been to Indian joints in providence and Boston and it doesn’t compare to Apna Punjab! The owner is a doll and always suggests new dishes to try. They don’t skimp on portion and give a lot of papadum and chutney. I think the bar attached to it is strange-ultra American and not classy. But the Restaurant is key. The best across 30 miles!!!

Was not sure what to get for lunch today and this place came up, so glad I tried it out. Clean and organized. Food is really good. Service is very nice and efficient. Reasonable price.

Where do I begin with this review. I would not recommend this place at all had a horrible experience yesterday. We took food out to go yesterday and my wife got really sick from the food and was throwing up all night. The quality of the food was HORRIBLE especially for the amount I paid. I asked the gentleman who was helping me for Indian salad and he told me he was going to charge $ 3 on top of that no pappdum was given!!! We had ordered paneer pakora it was hard as a rock and the panner tikka kabob ahhhhh that was hard as a rock as well. Save ur self the time and money not the best Indian restaurant to go to. If I had the option to give no stars I would this restaurant doesn’t deserve any stars for the customer service and the food quality!!!

I’m writing this in the hopes that someone there reads it. The food… terrific, which I believe has kept the place afloat. I was a regular, but now go elsewhere after several tries, hoping things improved. I’d rate the service, but there is nothing to rate. If you sit at the bar, and happen to get one of the three bar stools that still work, you sit and sit and sit for 10 – 15 minutes at times, waiting for someone to show up. Then you get the owner, who can’t put his cell phone down and always seems to be doing 20 things at once. You’ll get a promise of being taken care of, which means another 10 minute wait. Always check your tab. We’ve had additional items added twice, so we learned to be careful. Our last experience was a complete disaster and far too long and boring to relate. It ended with another promise to take care of the bad service and food, only to find that the Naan was the only thing removed from a bill that was supposed to be comped. We sit there, on our broken stools, trying to get Jay to make changes that, we hope, will keep customers and not force it’s ultimate demise. But nobody is listening… The place is very expensive, which is not the problem. I would gladly pay for great food and the service that goes with it. It’s sadly become far too pricey for the horrible atmosphere and non-existent service. I really want this place to be great and survive, but I fear for the worst…

My first review definitely has to be updated as I’ve been here many times since that unfortunate night. There aren’t many Indian restaurants in the area, but this is our default/go-to place. The garlic naan is by far one of the best around! I seem to always order my favorite dish Chicken Tikka Masala(ask for medium hot), and this is always delicious. Creamy, spicy tomato sauce. Wait staff are pleasant and attentive. I have tried the buffet several times, but there are too many vegetarian offerings and not enough meat dishes. Kingfisher beer in bottles is available, giant 24oz size! The restaurant is in a quiet strip mall heading out of Attleboro, just into Rehoboth. Will keep going back

First time we’ve tried this place. It’s a bit of a drive but we were craving Indian food. I’m very happy we did… the food was phenomenal! We got both vegetable and lamb samosas, the bread basket of naan bread, and the crispy shrimp in hot garlic sauce as appetizers. They were decent sized and tasted great. For the main course we got the Lamb Vindaloo and the Shrimp Curry. I expected the Lamb Vindaloo to be spicier, but both were really great! Needless to say we have leftovers… which was our objective. I’d definitely recommend this place if you like Indian food.

Tasty Indian food. They are a little on the expensive side but the prices aren’t unusual for an Indian restaurant. Long wait times between ordering and when they say the food will be ready for pick-up and/or delivery(we’ve only ever picked it up). Food is well spiced with good flavors.

This was the first restaurant I dined at when I first moved here. I was surprised to find an Indian joint in this area given it is a predominantly white neighborhood. We came here for dinner and were fortunate enough to be served by the manager of the restaurant. We informed him how we weren’t very familiar with Indian food so he made a few recommendations based on flavors we were comfortable with. We started off with Shrimp Pakora and it honestly tasted like deep fried chicken fingers from a Chinese restaurant. The only difference is the slight seasoning that you wish to get more of a waste of, I wish I could say it was better. As for our entrees, we ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Saag Paneer accompanied by garlic naan and plan rice. My pallet was much more satisfied at this point. Personally, I simply love the concept of dipping«bread» into a rich, flavorful sauce because it’s «hands on,» fun and makes me feel so down to earth! So when I learned I was able to dip the naan into the masala, my mind was performing cartwheels. I also enjoyed the Saag Paneer. I appreciate how the cubes of cheese were firm and had a very subtle flavor to them, so it went very well with the spinach and spices. Altogether, I was satisfied with the food and will certainly be coming back. I will say it is not my top choice because it is a bit pricey, but you’re paying for quality food so I guess it’s a give or take.

I wish Unilocal had the option to rate other people’s reviews. Just like Über has for their drivers. This place is has some of the best dishes around, regardless of the type of food. I order from Apna pretty much every week, take out or delivery. The food is exceptional. They probably do primarily take out business as it’s never crowded inside. The inside/ambience might not be up to par for some people but the food and service is above and beyond. The Vindaloo and Saag are incredible. Best chicken soup I’ve ever had. I’m on a mission to try everything and haven’t been disappointed yet.

By far one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to. The food is fresh, flavorful, and the serving is beyond reasonable for the price. I ordered the goat curry, and it was more than what I had expected. The server and waiter, Jay, is very friendly and was enjoyable to talk to. Overall, this restaurant is a solid 5 in terms of hospitality, food, comfort, and enjoyability.

This is one of my favorite spots and I’m fortunate enough to live a few blocks away. The food is consistently delicious and has wonderful flavors. The Saag Paneer and Navratan Korma are out of this world and they have a buffet from 11 – 3 Thursday-Sunday, which is perfect for work lunches to end the week. Every time I go in, there are the same two men working in the front. One is a waiter/host and the other is the manager. The manager is really wonderful. He goes above and beyond to make his customers happy. For example, I was there for dinner one night with a friend who really wasn’t a fan of his meal so he ordered another one. We brought it up to our waitress(haven’t seen her in a while) who let the manager know. He took the meal my friend didn’t like off the check and gave us a new one. We weren’t really expecting this nice gesture, but figured we’d see if anything could be done so it was a nice surprise. I was getting takeout the other night(like many nights) and the woman in front of me didn’t have her order ready or it wasn’t in the computer or something. The manager apologized, asked her for 5−10minutes and lead her to the bar for a drink on the house. It’s really great to see an establishment really value their customers.

Ever had one of those times you felt like the owner of an establishment would literally give you the shirt off his back? This is that place. I used this place for my after-party for my wedding which was down the street. All in all maybe fifteen guests came back to this place with me. I had spoken to the owner, Mr. Jay, several times to ensure my party would be okay in the bar area. Mr Jay was always accessible and quick to assure me. Mr Jay, his staff and his restaurant were 100% on their game. Food, drinks and staff were the best. Truly, the Saag Paneer and Chicken Tiki Marsala was the best I’ve ever had.
