Propane Plus Corp

This company/​owner is the absolute worst, this is the first time I have written a bad review.
I have been using them for the past eight years and had nothing but problems the entire time.
To start off when I was building my house they sold me on getting a 1000 gallon tank when I should have only needed a 500 gallon tank. The sleazy salesman said that it would have been beneficial to me. The only reason they did this is because they didn’t want to come out to my house for filling as very often. The only reason I went with them was because they said that they have the lowest prices around. That was a bait and switch tactic once the tank was installed and they did their initial fill up their prices were as high or higher than anyone else.
After a few years of paying 4500 – 5000 per year for propane I decided to get a wood burning furnace to heat my home so all I needed was propane for hot water and cooking which was roughly 300 – 500 gallons per year so I really didn’t need to be on a payment plan. Any time they would come out they would fill the tank and charge me thousands of dollars for the propane fill. I called them and explained to them that I didn’t need that much propane and they told me that their minimum to come out to my house is a 50% fill which is a joke. I asked them to replace the existing tank with a 500 gallon and they said no.
In the last couple of months I was getting low so I called them and pre-​paid to have them come and put propane in and they said they would be out the next week. I waited until the end of the next week and no one had come so I called them and asked where they were and they said that they would be out that following Monday and I told them that I couldn’t wait that long so they put me on hold and talked to the owner thy came back and told me that he said that if I needed propane then I would have to pay a 200 dollar emergency fill up fee which really pissed me off because they obviously forgot to put me on the schedule. I said fine if I have to pay that fee then cancel my account. So that is what ended up happening.
Now a few months go by and I call some other places for new service and they said that they may be able to swap tanks so the new company would give them a new tanks and they would take ownership of the existing tank so my yard would have to have got all dug up and ruin my irrigation. They would not do this and they said all I could do is buy the tank for 3300 which I ended up having no choice to do get this owner and company out of my life. Before buying the tank I checked prices and you can get a new tank for 2800 so when I went to buy the tank I said new ones were 2800 and your asking 3300 so meet me somewhere in the middle at 3000. Once again they went to the owner and knowing he had the upper hand because he knows no one wants to rip up their lawn so he said no 3300. I hope my 3300 helps him have a great Christmas. I honestly don’t know how some people sleep at night.

This is the worst Propane company to get propane delivery from, they are liar, player, money hungry.
