Studio 12

Unfortunately the lack of communication and organization effects all patrons, including my 4 year old daughter. In July 2014, the studio had their recital. The rehearsal and set up was very disorganized. The show itself was good. We paid $ 25 for a DVD copy of the recital. 5 months later and we still do not have the DVD. I don’t know if anyone got them, but I know for certain that the other families in my daughter’s group did not receive theirs. When we contacted Lyndsey (the owner) she said they were still working on editing the DVD. A few weeks later, after reaching out to them again, we were told that there would be no DVD, and that there would be refunds. 2 weeks later, after not receiving a check, I stopped by the studio (we had since taken our daughter out of the class). Her husband told me that the check was going out Monday. That was before Christmas. After Christmas, my wife wrote her a message on Facebook (her voicemail has been full for over a year, so we couldn’t leave a message and she was not picking up the phone) asking where the check was. She replied that it was going out sometime that week. That was two weeks ago and still no check. Now I have filed a complaint with the BBB.
Please beware the disorganization, and what I can only describe as untruthfulness. We enrolled our daughter in the Dance Factory in Attleboro and couldn’t be more happy with the way that dance school is run.

What a wonderful experience Studio12 has been for me and for my girls! It was a spontaneous visit to a Zumba class but the friendly atmosphere and great Zumba routines had me hooked and coming back. I signed my girls (when they were age 9 and 7) up for dance classes and was pleased with the family nurturing environment. It is a great place to start dance for young students.

Really great studio for Zumba, Yoga, and a variety of other high impact and energetic dance and fitness classes. I tried the Zumba class my first time — and I LOVED it. I used to Zumba quite a bit, and was always flustered by my lack of coordination, and tendency to over-​heat rather quickly.
Studio 12 has a group of devoted pros and novices, all there to have fun and work out, so I did not feel out of place even as a first timer. The music was great, and one of my favorite features was that the class was taught in very dim disco/​club like lighting — perfect for getting your dance and sweat on! Would highly recommend this spot, it is clearly owned and operated by folks who love what they do, an do it well.
