Very nice, with a great environment. The moonshine is great! They offer a free tasting. Everything is homemade and bottled. Great prices. They offer flavors as well. I would recommend to everyone!

If you are traveling up or down interstate 85 through SC this is worth the stop over! If its a day trip for you… take it! Owners Bob and his wife Kat are delightful and love taking you on the tour to show you the fascinating process of distilling Moonshine and bottling it. He’ll tell you how it’s done but you won’t get his secret recipe! Now I’ve tasted Moonshine from different distilleries… most not drinkable to me. This is really smooth and actually tastes great! Bob says it’s because it goes through 6 distilling processes. Each bottle is numbered and signed and we were lucky to get a bottle of the batch 2 that was stuck back in the pile! The building is an old historical one. The Apple Pie flavored is just yummy! And Pineapple has just a hint of Pineapple flavor. but even the Simply Naked can be shipped just plain or mixed with your favorite mixes. They can tell you the history of Sugartit as well. I already knew it because my husband’s grandfather was a cotton farmer in Sugartit when he was growing up. The churches are old and quaint but you may not see a sign to tell you that’s where you are because people keep stealing them! Seems they think the name is fun. Well I actually learned what a Sugartit was on this trip and why they bag the Moonshine in burlap bags! Be sure to ask!!! It may not be what you think!

A wonderful step back in time and a truly great moonshine. Yes, Sugar Tit, South Carolina is a real place and the building they are located in is a historic building. The owners of the Sugar Tit Moonshine are a great couple. And the Moonshine is good, too!!!
