Average food in a ghost town shopping center. Ordered soup(which was straight from food service and microwaved to order) and cheese steak(which actually did touch the flat top after microwave thawing). Side of decent German potato salad(partially heated in microwave with some very cold potatoes). The good — you know when your food is coming out by the microwave«ding». The bad — below average food.

The shopping village this quaint eatery is located in is perfect for a girlfriend’s shopping day stop! Not only do you get to eat, but there are quite a few places in here that offer wonderful gifts and services. If you are heading out through Adamstown, there is no reason not to stop in. It’s one road off rt 272. The light fare was perfect sustenance to hold us over till we got home. I had soup, a tuna club and coffee. The coffee was Twin Valley brand, which I was informed is local. Surprisingly good and the waitress steamed my milk perfectly. They had Pandora playing classic holiday music on their tv’s(I was in near Christmas) which was a nice touch rather than afternoon talk shows or soap operas I’ve had to deal with at other local comparable restaurants. The free wifi was nice as well, because we were planning our trip route on a smart phone gps and were able to easily connect and get directions while eating. I love the fact that they sell and use Good’s potato chips and Hershey ice cream; growing up in Berks, for me, those are definite must haves! We will definitely stop by again on our next shopping trip to Lancaster.
