I have been stalking the Iced Gems food truck for months while I was working in the harbor and never saw it.
Fast forward to today (1 month into my new job at UMB) and there they are! I was so happy to find out that they are at UMMC every two weeks!
I purchased a chocolate salted caramel cupcake and it was divine. The chocolate cake was moist and filled with chocolate chips. The icing fluffy and creamy with sea salt and a caramel piece. What I wasn’t expecting was the gooey caramel in the center! What a pleasant surprise!
If you don’t like rich cupcakes they have salty and savory options as well.
